  • The purpose of this study is to find out if individual variables, ego resilience, self-efficacy, and perfectionism of pre-service daycare teachers can predict anxiety about reality shock after being daycare teachers. Subjects were 176 college students in their 1st~4th year who wanted to become daycare teachers. The data were verified by using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The study results are as follows: First, the higher the year of school they were in, the higher the anxiety about reality shock was. Second, there was a significant correlation among ego resilience, self-efficacy, perfectionism, and anxiety about reality shock. Specifically, as ego resilience and self-efficacy are lower and perfectionism is stronger, anxiety about reality shock was found to be higher. Finally, the year of school, self-efficacy, and perfectionism of pre-service teacher turned to be variables predicting anxiety about reality shock. Based on the results of this study, we searched for a solution to reduce anxiety about reality shock of pre-service daycare teachers and provide basic information that can do properly prepare future teachers.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between bullying, nursing work environment, reality shock and factors of influence on turnover intension. Data were collected from 381 nurses who were under the charge nurse at a hospital with more than 600 beds in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS24.0 program. The mean score for turnover intension was 3.61 ± 0.89. The intension of turnover was correlated with bullying in the workplace (r=0.197, ⍴=.001), the nursing work environment (r=-.409, p=.001), and reality shock (r=.572, p=.001). Variables affecting turnover intension were the work department(β=-0.018, ⍴=.049), working environment(β=-0.424, ⍴<.000), and reality shock(β=0.654, ⍴<.000). The total amount of explanation for turnover intension was 37.3%. The degree of turnover intension of nurses was affected by work in general wards, the experience of workplace bullying and the nursing work environment. To reduce turnover intension, nursing work needs to be analyzed and efforts are needed to establish an effective communication system.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of social support and self-efficacy on the relationship between the nursing work environment and reality shock among new graduate nurses. The participants were 260 nurses who had worked for less than 1 year at 3 general hospitals and 2 university hospitals, and who were examined from 15 June to 31 August 2015. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, simple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. In the results, the mean scores of the nursing work environment, reality shock, social support and self-efficacy were $3.06{\pm}.313$, $2.73{\pm}.401$, $3.90{\pm}.623$ and $3.73{\pm}.519$, respectively. Social support (F=16.744, p<.001) and self-efficacy (F=40.616, p<.001) had a direct influence on reality shock. Social support (F=7.743, p<.001) and self-efficacy (F=14.676, p<.001) also had a moderating effect on the relationship between nursing work environment and reality shock. Thus, we need to develop a preceptor education standardization and customized mentor program to enhance social support and self-efficacy, which can reduce new graduate nurses' reality shock in the nursing work environment.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing intention to stay among new graduate nurses. The participants were 127 new graduate nurses working at A University hospital in Gyeonggi Province. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The results showed that job satisfaction, reality shock, working period, and resilience were significant predictors of intention to stay and explained for 44.2% of the variance in intention to stay. The findings of this study suggest that interventions focusing on reducing the reality shock through pre-experiences or trainings in clinical situations and enhancing the resilience are needed to improve intention to stay for the new graduate nurses. Also it is necessary to establish a support system and work environment to improve nursing job satisfaction, and a long-term education program of more than 6 months is needed to help new nurses adapt to work.

  • Every year, lives are lost due to electrical safety accidents that could have been prevented with proper education and awareness of electrical safety. To prevent such accidents, experiential education is more effective than indoctrination education. This paper describes the electrical safety education system based on virtual reality (VR) and evaluates effect of the proposed system. Users operated the experiential electrical safety education system, and they were provided electrical stimulation in an electric shock experience using a haptic device. Appropriate stimulation values were calculated according to age (children vs. adults) and gender through experiment. The scenario in which participants experience electrical safety in the home environment was structured, and related educational contents was produced. A total of 68 healthy elementary students evaluated the educational effect of the system. The results showed that the educational effect and the sustainability of effect of the proposed system are superior to those of existing multimedia learning methods. By implementing electrical safety education stimulating the senses of human, the learning effect was promoted and this experiential education would be able to prevent electrical accidents.

  • This study is intended to examine Honore Daurnier's realism formativeness, review it in connection with socio-cultural conditions, analyze costume designs by a style of realism formativeness, in order to find the value. For the study, the procedure included the review of Daurnier's works and world, together with realism formativeness. Then, Daurnier's realism formativeness applied to costume designs were categorized and found the features of each style. Finally, it sought the implication of realism formativeness in costume designs. Honore Daumier, a realist of France in the 19th century, has been reputed that he pursues plain reality with a satire, uses all the conditions of humans as his object, and observes the vanity, desire, and foolishness of humans to represent his own expression techniques as cold as a stone. Realism formativeness is characterized by adherence to observing reality and engagement in reality, an effort to represent the world as it is as what we sense it without diluting or omitting it, nor any deception. The following terms can be used to describe the three styles of intentional recreation, satire on reality, and real existence; For intentional recreation in costume may be featured by the avant-garde, the pursuit of autonomy, reconstruction, rediscovery, recombination, reinterpretation, neutralized representation (reality + the abstract), transformation, distortion, shock, and unexpectedness, etc. For satire on reality in costume, satirical criticism and mockery in a coexistence of time and space, dualism due to the combination of the exterior and the interior, reality reflecting the actual reality, and irony are those words. Real existence in costume may be described with objectivity, ordinariness, correctness of representing a theme, impersonality excluding subjectivity, clearness, certainness, and preciseness, etc.

  • Two typical impact loadings, shock wave and gas bubble pulse, due to UNDEX(UNDerwater EXplosion), should be considered together for the closest response analysis of structure subjected to UNDEX to a reality. Since these two impact loadings have different response time bands, however, their response characteristics of structure are different from each other. It is impossible to consider these effectively under the current computational environment and the mathematical model has not yet been developed. Whereas Hicks model approximates the fluid-structure interaction due to gas bubble pulse as virtual mass effect, treating the flow by the response of gas bubble after shock wave as incompressible ideal fluid contrary to the compressible flow due to shock wave, Geers-Hunter model could make the closest response analysis of structure under UNDEX to a real one as a mathematical model considering the fluid-structure interaction due to shock wave and gas bubble pulse together using acoustic wave theory and DAA(Doubly Asymptotic Approximation). In this study, the application and effectiveness of integrated dynamic response analysis of submerged structure was examined with the analysis of the shock wave and gas bubble pulse together.

  • This research to reveal the foot types of old males consisted of two parts. First, a questionnaire was given for 180 old men in their 60s and above who live in Busan. Second, based on this survey on the reality of shoes wearing, direct and indirect measurement were held for 200 old gentlemen. The findings are as follows: 1. Survey Results of Shoes Wearing Reality In the investigation into the reality of shoes possession and wearing, most of old males favored active casual shoes with comfortable materials (40.8%). Hardened skin (23.6%) was the greatest in foot deformation and side effects resulting from shoes wearing, while the big toe (20.1%) was most uncomfortable. The greatest requirement for comfortable shoes was shoes making feet comfortable with a good sense of wear (41.0%), followed by shoes with the soft sole to absorb shock (31.7%), shoes with diverse sizes according to shoes width (13.7%), and shoes made of soft materials in consideration of various foot shapes. 2. Results of Foot Measurement Experiments Busan's males in their 60s and above were 166.31cm (Height), 63.51kg (weight), 23.94cm (foot length), 9.75cm (foot width), and 24.26cm (instep girth). The big toe angle of old males was $11.22^{\circ}$ and the little toe angle $14.70^{\circ}$. Four foot types were classified: 1 (long big foot), 2 (small inside-developed foot), 3 (toe-tip-gathered foot), and 4 (thin flat foot).
