GIS와 GPS를 이용한 배달/수거 물류관리시스템 (A Pickup/Delivery Management System Using Geographic Information System and Global Positioning System)

  • This paper considers a door-to-door service system in which pickups or deliveries are performed by a trip of a single vehicle. Each customer request specifies the quantity of the load transported, the location, and the time window within which it is to be picked up or delivered. Since the system is demand responsive, i.e., new or emergent requests become available in real-time, the current vehicle route has to be reconstructed to include these requests. In this case, only continuous vehicle tracking enables control over the requests and ensures that the requests are satisfied on time. This paper suggests a pilot pickup/delivery management system integrating a geographic information system(GIS) and a global position system(GPS) to efficiently deal with such a dynamic environment. The GIS offers a way of displaying the vehicle route on digital maps for the region under concerned. Also displayed is the current location of the vehicle obtained from the GPS. A heuristic algorithm is used to dynamically determine the vehicle route. A practical example is provided to show the feasibility of the system.

  • While there are many services that can check current traffic condition and application program such as bus arrival alarm are developed, since it only provide simple alarm and check level of information, it is still insufficient in many senses. Therefore, the program that try to develop in this study is the system that predict arrival time to destination and inform the bus passengers by applying real time traffic information. The system developed related to this study is still very inadequate. In the system developed in this thesis, when the user input the current bus number and destination using smart-phone, relevant server acquire the bus route information from bus information DB, and analyze real time traffic information based on the information from traffic information DB, and inform customer of expected arrival time to destination. In this thesis, traffic congestion can be eased off and regular operation of public transportation can be improved with reliable destination arrival alarm. Also, it is considered that pattern of bus users can be analyzed by using these information, and analyzing average transport speed and time of public transportation, travel time depending on various situation can give a boost to study related to transportation information and its development.

Development of Augmented Reality Walking Navigation App using Dijkstra Algorithm

  • There are a variety of apps that are finding their way. And in car navigation, we launched a product that reflects Augmented Reality technology this year. However, existing apps have problems. It is implemented in 2D or 3D, has a large error range because it has been modified in most vehicles, is not updated in real time, and car augmented reality navigation is a vehicle, and a separate device is required, etc. In this study, we implemented a smartphone app for walking directions using augmented reality, and made it possible to intuitively use a route service from a user 's location to a destination. The Dijkstra algorithm is applied to calculate the shortest path to solve the problem of finding the route with the least cost. By using this application, it is possible to use the route search service even in a data-free environment, to solve the inconvenience of the language barrier, and to update in real time, so that the latest information can be always maintained. In the future, we want to develop an app that can be commercialized by using a character in the path to promote it.

  • In this paper, the authors present a row dynamic route planning by Q-learning. The proposed algorithm is executed in a cellular automation based traffic simulator, which is also newly created. In Vehicle Information and Communication System(VICS), which is an active field of Intelligent Transport System(ITS), information of traffic congestion is sent to each vehicle at real time. However, a centralized navigation system is not realistic to guide millions of vehicles in a megalopolis. Autonomous distributed systems should be more flexible and scalable, and also have a chance to focus on each vehicles demand. In such systems, each vehicle can search an own optimal route. We employ Q-learning of the reinforcement learning method to search an optimal or sub-optimal route, in which route drivers can avoid traffic congestions.   • Shortest Path Problems are among the most studied network flow optimization problems, with interesting applications in various fields. One such field is the route determination service, where various kinds of shortest path problems need to be solved in location-based service. Our research aim is to propose a route technique in real-time locationbased service (LBS) environments according to user’s route preferences such as shortest, fastest, easiest and so on. Turn costs modeling and computation are important procedures in route planning. There are major two kinds of cost parameters in route planning. One is static cost parameter which can be pre-computed such as distance and number of traffic-lane. The other is dynamic cost parameter which can be computed in run-time such as number of turns and risk of congestion. In this paper, we propose a new cost modeling method for turn costs which are traditionally attached to edges in a graph. Our proposed route determination technique also has an advantage that can provide service interoperability by implementing XML web service for the OpenLS route determination service specification. In addition to, describing the details of our shortest path algorithms, we present a location-based service system by using proposed routing algorithms.

실시간교통정보 이용에 따른 차량의 CO, VOC, NOx 저감효과 평가 (Evaluating Vehicle Emission Reduction (CO, VOC and NOx) Using Real-time Traffic Information)

  • This paper was inspired by the fact that Real-time Traffic Information Service could play a key role in reducing incomplete combustion time remarkably since it can provide traffic jam information in real-time basis. Emission characteristics of experimental engines were studied with variable travel distances and speed of car in terms of traffic information provided. 12 Km distance road of Susung district in Daegu is taken as an experimental area to examine this new approach. The emission was tested while the driving was done at 8 AM, 3 PM, 6 PM which represents various traffic conditions. The reduced emission has been measured for a travel distance running at different loads (conventional shortest route and Real-time Traffic Information) and various loads (CO, VOC and NOx) are all inventoried and calculated in terms of existing emission factors. The emission has been shown to reduce linearly with travel distance : carbon monoxide (20.56%), VOC (29.21%), NOx(8.86%).

항해지원을 위한 해양환경정보 실시간 예보시스템 개발 (Development of Real-Time Forecasting System of Marine Environmental Information for Ship Routing)

  • 대양을 운항하는 선박의 최적 항로계획 수립에 중요한 해양환경정보를 실시간으로 예보하는 시스템(MEIS)을 개발하였다. 예보정보는 위성관측 대양환경 자료를 기반으로 유럽중기기후예보센터가 처리한 실시간 자료를 바탕으로 하며, 장기 관측자료 데이터베이스에 근거한 통계적 정보와 함께 제공된다. MEIS시스템은 육상 기지국에 설치되어 해양환경정보를 취득하고 처리하는 육상자료처리시스템(MEIS-Center)과 선박에 탑재되어 가공된 해양환경정보를 화상으로 구현하고 최적항로 선정을 돕는 선박탑재화상구현시스템(MEIS-Ship)으로 구성되며, 운항중인 선박과 육상기지국간의 정보 송수신을 위한 위성통신 시스템을 활용한다. 해양환경 요소는 바람, 파랑, 기압, 폭풍을 포함하며, 바람은 풍향과 풍속 정보를 제공하고, 파랑은 너울과 풍파로 구분하여 파고, 파향, 파주기 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 실시간 정보는 0.5°해상도로 5시간 간격의 10일 예보치가 매일 제공되며, 통계적 정보는 1.5° 해상도의 15년 관측자료를 이용하여 월평균 및 재현주기별 최대값이 산정된다. MEIS-Ship은 항로 시뮬레이션 기능을 제공하며, 설정된 항로에 대해 예보 및 통계적 해양환경정보를 그림 또는 표의 형태로 제공한다. MEIS는 예정 항로상의 정확한 실시간 해양환경 예보를 제공하므로 선박운항자가 항로의 위험도와 운항경제성을 고려하여 최적 항로를 선정하는 것이 가능하다.

The driving for the emission test was done at 8AM, 3PM, 7PM which represents various traffic conditions. The reduced emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) have been measured for a travel distance running at different loads (conventional shortest route and Real-time Traffic Information) and GHG ($CO_2$, $CH_4$, $N_2O$) are all inventoried and calculated in terms of existing emission factors. The emission of GHG has been shown to reduce linearly with travel distance: $CO_2$ (9.15%), $CH_4$ (18.43%), $N_2O$(18.62%).

  • This study investigates the effect of real-time traffic information on the traffic flows in Korea. Recently, the development of smartphones has made it easier to use the route guidance service based on real-time traffic information. By the Big Data analysis in the study, it was found that the number of postings on the web community sites increased sharply in 2010 and 2011 when the smartphones spread widely. In the analysis of the traffic speeds by time, the average traffic speeds for morning and evening rush hours on weekdays from 2009 to 2014 of the 142 sections in the 6 national highways in Gyeonggi-do, Korea were used. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the percentage of the number of sections with the improved traffic flows increased greatly in 2012 compared to 2011. The findings of the study indicate the effect of the real-time traffic information on improving traffic flows.

  • 일반적으로 도로종합관리 체계를 위해 이용되는 도면은 스캐너로 받아들인 도면으로 이는 도면보존 상태라든가 스캐너의 해상도에 따라 원 도면의 선명도가 결정되고 도면에 따른 데이터가 따로 첨부되어 관리되는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도로설계전용 프로그램인 RP(Road Project 2.1)를 이용해 지방도 일부 구간의 도로평면선형과 종단선형을 설계하고 완성된 도면자료는 *.dxf형태로, 그에 대한 속성자료는 *.dbf형태로 직접 저장하여 PC ArcView프로그램과 Excel을 이용해 도면과 데이터를 일괄적으로 관리 할 수 있는 실시간 도로선형정보 체계를 구축하였고, 유사한 도로설계시 도면과 데이터를 일괄적으로 쉽게 검색 할 수 있어 예비설계의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
