인간의 청각 시스템을 응용한 음원위치 추정에 관한 연구 (A study imitating human auditory system for tracking the position of sound source)

  • To acquire an appointed speaker's clear voice signal from inspect-camera, picture-conference or hands free microphone eliminating interference noises needs to be preceded speaker's position automatically. Presumption of sound source position's basic algorithm is about measuring TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival) from reaching same signals between two microphones. This main project uses ADF(Adaptive Delay Filter) [4] and CPS(Cross Power Spectrum) [5] which are one of the most important analysis of TDOA. From these analysis this project proposes presumption of real time sound source position and improved model NI-ADF which makes possible to presume both directions of sound source position. NI-ADF noticed that if auditory sense of humankind reaches above to some specified level in specified frequency, it will accept sound through activated nerve. NI-ADF also proposes practicable algorithm, the presumption of real time sound source position including both directions, that when microphone loads to some specified system, it will use sounds level difference from external system related to sounds of diffraction phenomenon. In accordance with the project, when existing both direction adaptation filter's algorithm measures sound source, it increases more than twice number by measuring one way. Preserving this weak point, this project proposes improved algorithm to presume real time in both directions.

  • This study is aimed to develop a system to position and manage object flow in real time. Logistics management system which position objects and vans using GPS is required to load, unload and keep freight effectively and in real time at sea or airport. In this study, a management system which is consisted of five sub-systems is developed; GPS position analysis system, GPS interface system, mapping system, network system and database management system.

The Effect of Postural Correction and Visual Feedback on Muscle Activity and Head Position Change During Overhead Arm Lift Test in Subjects with Forward Head Posture

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the immediate effects of posture correction and real-time visual feedback using a video display on muscle activity and change of head position during overhead arm lift test in individuals with forward head posture. Methods: Fifteen subjects with forward head posture and fifteen normal subjects who volunteered were included in this study. During both groups performed the overhead arm lift test, the muscle activity of the upper trapezius, serratus anterior, sternocleidomastoid, and lower trapezius muscle were measured using electromyography, and head position change was measured using photographs. Then, forward head posture group was asked to perform overhead arm lift test again after posture correction and real-time visual feedback using a video display respectively. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to analyze four conditions: pre-test, posture correction, real-time visual feedback, and the control group. Results: The upper trapezius and lower trapezius muscle activity significantly decreased posture correction, real-time visual feedback, and control group than pre-test of forward head posture group (p<0.05). The sternocleidomastoid muscle significantly decreased real-time visual feedback and control group than pre-test of forward head posture group. Head position change significantly decreased three conditions than pre-test of forward head posture group and real-time visual feedback and control group significantly decreased than posture correction. Conclusion: This study recommend for maintaining cervical stability during the overhead arm lift test, postural control using real-time visual feedback is more effective in subjects with forward head posture.

  • Image detection system for road traffic data analysis is a real time detection system using image processing techniques to get the real-time traffic information which is used for traffic control and analysis. One of the most important functions in this system is to match the coordinates of real world and that of image on video camera. When there in no way to know the exact position of camera and it´s height from the object. If some points on the road of real world are known it is possible to calculate the coordinates of real world from image.

  • There has been considerable activity in recent years in developing timing analysis algorithms for distributed real-time control systems. However, it is difficult for control engineers to analyze the timing behavior of distributed real-time control systems because the algorithms was developed in a software engineer's position and the calculation of the algorithm is very complex. Therefore, there is a need to develop a timing analysis tool, which can handle the calculation complexity of the timing analysis algorithms in order to help control engineers easily analyze or develop the distributed real-time control systems. In this paper, an interactive timing analysis tool, called RAT (Response-time Analysis Tool), is introduced. RAT can perform the schedulability analysis for development of distributed real-time control systems. The schedulability analysis can verify whether all real-time tasks and messages in a system will be completed by their deadlines in the system design phase. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of end-to-end scheduling, RAT can perform the schedulability analysis for series of tasks and messages in a precedence relationship.

Feasibility Study of Source Position Verification in HDR Brachytherapy Using Scintillating Fiber

  • The position verification of the radiation source utilized in brachytherapy forms a critical factor in determining the therapeutic efficiency. Currently, films are used to verify the source position; however, this method is encumbered by the lengthy time interval required from film scanning to analysis, which makes real-time position verification difficult. In general, the source position accuracy is usually tested in a monthly quality assurance check. In this context, this study investigates the feasibility of the real-time position verification of the radiation source in high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy with the use of scintillating fibers. To this end, we construct a system consisting of scintillating fibers and a silicon photomultiplier (SiPM), optimize the dosimetric software setup and radiation system characteristics to obtain maximum measurement accuracy, and determine the relative ratio of the measured signals dependent upon the position of the scintillating fiber. According to the dosimetric results based on a treatment plan, in which the dwell time is set at 30 and 60 s at two dwell positions, the number of signals is 31.5 and 83, respectively. In other words, the signal rate roughly doubles in proportion to the dwell time. The source position can also be confirmed at the same time. With further improvements in the spatial resolution and scintillating fiber array, the source position can be verified in real-time in clinical settings with the use of a scintillating fiber-based system.

  • Visual effects are important cues for providing occupant s with virtual reality in a vehicle simulator which imitates real driving. The viewpoint of an occupant is sensitively dependent upon the occupant´s posture, therefore, the total body motion must be considered in a graphic simulator. A real time simulation is required for the dynamic analysis of complex human body motion. This study attempts to apply a neural network to the motion analysis in various driving situations. A full car of medium-sized vehicles was selected and modeled, and then analyzed using ADAMS in such driving conditions as bump-pass and acceleration. A multibody system analysis software, MADYMO, was used in the motion analysis of an adult male dummy in the seated position.   • In this paper, we propose an effective wireless transmission technology, under poor wireless transmission channel surroundings caused by speedy flying, that are able to transmit high quality video recording information and surveillance data via accessing to various wireless networking services architecture such as One-on-One, Many-on-One, One-on-Many, Over the Horizon. The Real-Time Position Analysis(RAPA) method is also suggested to provide more meaningful video information of shooting area. The suggested wireless transmission technology and RAPA can make remote control of UAV's flight route to get valuable topography information. Because of the benefit to get both of video information and GPS data of shooting area simultaneously, the result of study can be applied to various application sphere including UAV that requires high speed wireless transmission.

  • Stand-alone global position system receiver based on C/A code tracking generates position error of 100m mainly due to the selective availability and ionospheric and tropospheric delay errors. The differential GPS is the most commonly used method for removing those bias range error components. The relative GPS, although somewhat restrictive in its use, is ideally suited to the car monitoring system for improved Automatic Vehicle location, especially where the DGPS infrastructure is not available. The RGPS does not require any additional hardware, facility or external infrastructure and can be operated within the system with existing host computer and communication link. This paper presents detailed description of the RGPS concept and its implementation for real-time data processing. Performance of RGPS is evaluated with real data and is compared with DGPS.

실시간 공중 자료획득 시스템을 위한 GPS/INS/AT를 이용한 실시간 위치/자세 결정 (Determinate Real-Time Position and Attitude using GPS/INS/AT for Real-time Aerial Monitoring System)

  • 실시간 공중자료획득 시스템은 긴급상황에서 실시간으로 공간정보를 생성하기 위해 빠른 매핑을 수행하는 시스템이다. 이 시스템은 GPS/INS 통합 알고리즘에서 제공한 위치 및 자세를 사용하여 무기준점 방식의 AT(aerial truangulation)을 수행한다. 따라서 순차적으로 AT을 통한 조정된 위치 및 자세를 얻을 수 있다면, 이를 칼만필터의 측정치로 하여 위치 및 자세를 보정할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 무인항공기 기반의 항공시스템을 기준으로 GPS/IMS Image 시뮬레이션 데이터를 생성하였다. 생성된 시뮬레이션 데이터를 이용하여 GPS/INS 통합 알고리즘을 통한 AT 수행결과와 AT을 통해 조정된 위치 및 자세를 이용하여 GPS/INS 위치 및 자세를 보정하는 GPS/INS/AT 통합 알고리즘에 의해 계산된 AT의 결과를 산출하여 비교하였다. 비교분석 결과, GPS/INS/AT 통합 알고리즘으로 AT를 수행한 결과가 GPS/INS를 이용한 AT를 수행한 결과보다 정확성이 높은 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 항체가 회전을 할 경우에는 위치 오차가 GPS/INS로 부터의 위치오차보다 높게 나오는 경향을 보였으며, 추후 분석이 필요할 것이라고 사료된다.
