This study is based on Freud's psychoanalysis and intends to deal with the actual psychoanalytic counseling applied to it. In particular, I would like to study the counseling process and counseling techniques. The research results are as follows. The counseling process goes through four stages: initiation, transfer development, training, and transfer resolution as follows after selecting a client and constructing a counseling situation. In the beginning phase, the client listens to important past histories. In the metastasis development stage, it is from the time when metastasis appears. The training phase is the phase in which the client's insight is translated into real life to bring about change. The transfer resolution stage is the period when transfer analysis and interpretation are completed. Counseling techniques include free association, empathy, resistance, transference and countertransference, and interpretation. Free association is a key technique in psychoanalytic therapy and plays an important role in maintaining the analytical framework. Empathy is the ability of the therapist to identify herself with the client and the ability of the therapist to convey the empathic experience to the client itself is a key mechanism for change. Resistance refers to any behavior in which the client does not cooperate with counseling. Transference and countertransference are the main techniques of psychoanalysis. This is because the psychoanalyst induces and resolves the transference of the client during the treatment process. Interpretation refers to the technique of responding verbally in order to understand the needs, meanings, and motives hidden behind the client's thoughts, feelings, and actions. In conclusion, the counseling process of psychoanalytic counseling refers to the purpose of effective counseling by selecting a client and constructing a counseling situation. In addition, the principles of psychoanalysis in counseling techniques are applied to treatment procedures that vary according to the nature of the case, and can be variably applied while treating the same client.
Smart sewage treatment plant means creating a safe and clean water environment by establishing an ICT-based real-time monitoring, remote control management and intelligent system for the entire sewage treatment process. The core technology of such a smart sewage treatment plant can be operation control technology using measuring instruments. This research team analyzed and suggested the operation control technologies necessary for the establishment of the intelligent business by referring to the intelligent research projects of the sewage treatment plant in progress in Korea. As a result of the analysis, a total of six removal technologies were presented, including control by scale, reflow water control, linked treated water control, chemical quantity control, winter operation control, and total organic carbon control. By size, standards that can be classified into small and medium-sized large-scale are presented, and in the case of reflow water control, the location of water quality and flow sensors capable of managing reflow water is suggested. In the case of the linked treated water control, the influence and control points of the linked treated water on the sewage treatment plant were presented, and in the case of the chemical injection volume control, a system capable of optimizing the amount of chemical injection according to the introduction of an intelligent sewage treatment plant was presented. In the case of winter operation, the sensors and pumps to be controlled are suggested when considering the decrease in nitrification due to the decrease in water temperature. In the case of total organic carbon control, an interlocking system considering the total amount of pollution in the future was proposed. These operation control scenarios are expected to be used as basic data to be used in intelligent sewage treatment algorithms and scenarios in the future.

In this study, Gomchwi (Ligularia fischen) derived from Taebaek-si, Gangwon-do was extracted with 70% ethanol (LFE) and antioxidant activity was measured. The following experimental techniques were used to evaluate the antioxidant efficacy of LFE. Total phenolic contents, ABTS/DPPH radical scavenging analysis, cell viability assay, NO assay, and quantitative real-time PCR technique. The content of polyphenol and flavonoid was each 113.97±0.37 mg GAE/g or 29.22±2.06 mg QE/g in LFE. DPPH radical scavenging activity was measured to be 25 ㎍/㎖ 11.26±0.95%, 50 ㎍/㎖ 17.12±0.63%, 100 ㎍/㎖ 29.54±0.36%, 250 ㎍/㎖ 68.31±0.28%, 500 ㎍/㎖ 75.12±0.05%, and 1000 ㎍/㎖ 75.75±1.57%. In addition, ABTS radical scavenging activity was identified as LFE 25 ㎍/㎖ 13.75±0.21%, 50 ㎍/㎖ 26.71±0.20%, 100 ㎍/㎖ 56.92±0.22%, 250 ㎍/㎖ 91.30±0.12%, 500 ㎍/㎖ 93.40±0.02, and 1000 ㎍/㎖ 93.19±0.04%. There was no significant cytotoxicity of LFE. NO production was significantly decreased to LFE 50 ㎍/㎖ 79.40±2.64%, 100 ㎍/㎖ 55.01±5.36%, and 200 ㎍/㎖ 30.93±3.11%. Also, the NOS2 gene expression was significantly reduced to LFE 50 ㎍/㎖ 0.94±0.11, 100 ㎍/㎖ 0.59±0.05, and 200 ㎍/㎖ 0.32±0.04. This result objectively confirmed the antioxidant effect of Gomchwi. We will continue to conduct in-depth research. Therefore, it is believed that the possibility of using Gomchwi as a cosmetic and functional food material can be established.

Continuous subway line expansion over the years in Seoul metropolitan area has contributed to improved accessibility to public transport. Since public transport accessibility has a significant impact on housing decisions, quantitative analysis of correlation between housing prices and public transport accessibility is regarded as one of the most important factors for planning better housing policies. This study defines the reduction of traveling time resulted from the construction of new metro stations despite them not being the closest stations as 'Network Expansion Effect', and seeks to understand how the Network Expansion Effect impacts on housing prices. The study analyzes monthly rent data converted from upfront lump sum deposit, so called Jeonse in Korea, from 2012 to 2018, through 'A Modified Repeat Sales Model.' As a result, the effect of 'Network Expansion' on rental prices in Seoul has stronger during the period of 2017 to 2018 than the base period of 2012 to 2014, which suggests the 'Network Expansion' has a meaningful effect on rent. In addition, in comparison between the most and the least affected group of apartments by 'Network Expansion Effect', the most affected group has more price increase than the least affected group. These findings also indicate that different levels of 'Network Expansion Effect' have various influences on the value of residential real estate properties.

Active vibration control system(AVCS) for helicopter enables to control the vibration generated from the main rotor and has the superb vibration reduction performance with low weight compared passive vibration reduction device. In this paper, FxLMS algorithm-based vibration control software of the light civil helicopter tansmits the control command calculated using the signals of the tachometer and accelerometers to the circular force generator(CFG) is developed and verified. According to the RTCA DO-178C/DO-331, the vibration control software is developed through the model based design technique, and real-time operation performance is evaluated in PILS(processor in-the loop simulation) and HILS(hardware in-the loop simulation) environments. In particular, the reliability of the software is improved through the LDRA-based verification coverage in the PIL environments. In order to AVCS to light civil helicopter(LCH), the dynamic response characteristic model is obtained through the ground/flight tests. AVCS configuration which exhibits the optimal performance is determined using system optimization analysis and flight test and obtain STC certification.
Objective: The objectives of this study were to evaluate the effects of daily feed intake during the laying period on embryonic myogenic differentiation 1 (MYOD1), myogenic factor 5 (MYF5), and myogenic factor 6 (MYF6) gene expression in genetically fat and lean lines of chickens. Methods: An experiment in a 2×2 factorial design was conducted with two dietary intake levels (100% and 75% of nutrition recommendation) and two broiler chicken lines (fat and lean). Two lines of hens (n = 384 for each line) at 23th week of age were randomly divided into 4 treatments with 12 replicates of 16 birds. The experiment started at 27th week of age (5% egg rate) and ended at 54th week of age. Hatched eggs from the medium laying period were collected. Real time polymerase chain reaction analysis was used to analyse the MYOD1, MYF5, and MYF6 mRNA levels of E7, E9, E11, E13, and E15 body tissues and E17, E19, and E21 chest and thigh muscle samples. Results: The results indicated that there were significant effects of line, dietary intake, and interactions between them on MYOD1, MYF5, and MYF6 gene mRNA expression levels in embryonic tissues. Low daily feed intake did not change the expression trend of MYOD1 mRNA in either line, but changed the peak values, especially in lean line. Low daily feed intake altered the trend in MYF5 mRNA expression level in both lines and apparently delayed its onset. There was no apparent effect of low daily feed intake on the trends of MYF6 mRNA expression levels in either line, but it significantly changed the values on many embryonic days. Conclusion: Maternal nutrient restriction affects myogenesis and is manifested in the expression of embryonic MYOD1, MYF5, and MYF6 genes. Long term selection for fat deposition in broiler chickens changes the pattern and intensity of myogenesis.

Background: Inflammatory dental diseases that occur during pregnancy can cause preterm labor and/or intrauterine growth restriction. Therefore, proactive treatment of dental diseases is necessary during pregnancy. Dexmedetomidine (DEX) is a widely used sedative in the dental field, but research on the effect of DEX on pregnancy is currently insufficient. In this study, we investigated the effects of co-treatment with DEX and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) on inflammatory responses in human amnion-derived WISH cells. Methods: Human amnion-derived WISH cells were treated with 0.001, 0.01, 0.1, and 1 ㎍/mL DEX with 1 ㎍/mL LPS for 24 h. Cytotoxicity of WISH cells was evaluated by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. The protein expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), p38, and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-𝜅B) was examined by western blot analysis. The mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin (IL)-1𝛽 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-𝛼 was analyzed by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Results: Co-treatment with DEX and LPS showed no cytotoxicity in the WISH cells. The mRNA expression of IL-1𝛽 and TNF-𝛼 decreased after co-treatment with DEX and LPS. DEX and LPS co-treatment decreased the protein expression of COX-2, PGE2, phospho-p38, and phospho-NF-𝛋B in WISH cells. Conclusion: Co-treatment with DEX and LPS suppressed the expression of COX-2 and PGE2, as well as pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1𝛽 and TNF-𝛼 in WISH cells. In addition, the anti-inflammatory effect of DEX and LPS co-treatment was mediated by the inhibition of p38/NF-𝜅B activation.
With the advent of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin in 2009, the paradigm of money, a means of payment, has been changing significantly. And it has a great impact on our daily lives. Thus central banks have attempted various analyzes on the issuance and impact of digital currencies including electronic payments but a study on which issuance method is suitable is insufficient. In this study, the issuance of digital currency was analyzed compared to the electronic payments which are currently used. As a result, the account-based model did not show any significant differences from the current RTGS(real-time gross settlement systems) and retail payment systems. But the token-based model is expected that it can improve the efficiency of finance and induce technological innovation in the financial field. However, it was analyzed that this model would weaken the intermediary function of financial institutions such as loans due to the characteristics of digital signature technology. In addition, in order to protect consumers against security attacks such as hacking and phishing of CBDCs, legal and institutional supports similar to the current electronic payment method are required, and continuous technology development efforts are also required for the CBDC issuance model to maintain convenience and anonymity equivalent to cash.
Background: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is the large intestine disease that results in chronic inflammation and ulcers in the colon. Rg3-enriched Korean Red Ginseng extract (Rg3-RGE) is known for its pharmacological activities. Persicaria tinctoria (PT) is also used in the treatment of various inflammatory diseases. The aim of this study is to investigate the attenuating effects of Rg3-RGE with PT on oxazolone (OXA)-induced UC in mice. Methods: A total of six groups of mice including control group, OXA (as model group, 1.5%) group, sulfasalazine (75 mg/kg) group, Rg3-RGE (20 mg/kg) group, PT (300 mg/kg) group, and Rg3-RGE (10 mg/kg) with PT (150 mg/kg) group. Data on the colon length, body weight, disease activity index (DAI), histological changes, nitric oxide (NO) assay, Real-time PCR of inflammatory factors, ELISA of inflammatory factors, Western blot, and flow cytometry analysis were obtained. Results: Overall, the combination treatment of Rg3-RGE and PT significantly improved the colon length and body weight and decreased the DAI in mice compared with the treatment with OXA. Additionally, the histological injury was also reduced by the combination treatment. Moreover, the NO production level and inflammatory mediators and cytokines were significantly downregulated in the Rg3-RGE with the PT group compared with the model group. Also, NLR family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-𝛋B) were suppressed in the combination treatment group compared with the OXA group. Furthermore, the number of immune cell subtypes of CD4+ T-helper cells, CD19+ B-cells, and CD4+ and CD25+ regulatory T-cells (Tregs) was improved in the Rg3-RGE with the PT group compared with the OXA group. Conclusion: Overall, the mixture of Rg3-RGE and PT is an effective therapeutic treatment for UC.
Currently, disasters occurring in Korea are characterized by unpredictability and complexity. Due to these features, property damage and human casualties are increasing. Since the initial response process of these disasters is directly related to the scale and the spread of damage, optimal decision-making is essential, and information of the site must be obtained through timely applicable sensors. However, it is difficult to make appropriate decisions because indiscriminate information is collected rather than necessary information in the currently operated Disaster and Safety Situation Office. In order to improve the current situation, this study proposed a framework that quickly collects various disaster image information, extracts information required to support decision-making, and utilizes it. To this end, a web-based display system and a smartphone application were proposed. Data were collected close to real time, and various analysis results were shared. Moreover, the capability of supporting decision-making was reviewed based on images of actual disaster sites acquired through CCTV, smartphones, and UAVs. In addition to the reviewed capability, it is expected that effective disaster management can be contributed if institutional mitigation of the acquisition and sharing of disaster-related data can be achieved together.
