천리안위성 기하보정 시스템의 궤도상 시험 (COMS Geometric Calibration System and Its In-Orbit Functional and Performance Tests)

  • 천리안 위성의 궤도상 시험이 위성발사 직후인 2010년 7월부터 2011년 1월까지 약 7개월에 걸쳐 성공적으로 수행되었으며, 과학탑재체인 기상 및 해양탑재체 자료는 2011년 4월부터 공식적으로 배포되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 천리안위성의 궤도상 시험 중 핵심적인 요소인 탑재체 자료의 보정 과정 중 최종 단계인 기하보정의 궤도상 테스트 내용에 중점을 두고 있다. 천리안위성 기하보정 알고리즘의 구조와 내용을 간략하게 소개하였으며, 위성발사 후 행해진 기하보정시스템의 기능 및 검증 테스트의 단계별 과정들과 그 결과를 분석 정리하였다. 실시간 위성자료 전처리 시스템을 통해 확보한 자료들을 이용한 천리안 기하보정알고리즘의 최종 성능테스트는 요구 조건을 만족하는 우수한 정확도를 보여 주었다.

K 최대근접이웃 방법을 이용한 통행시간 예측에 대한 연구 (A Study of Travel Time Prediction using K-Nearest Neighborhood Method)

  • 통행시간은 교통정보 중에서 가장 대표적이고 이용자 선호도가 높은 정보이다. 본 연구에서는 일반국도를 대상으로 실시간 시스템에 적용 가능한 통행시간 예측 방법을 개발하고자 하였다. 통행시간 예측방법으로 비모수적 접근 방법인 K 최대근접이웃 방법을 적용하였다. K 최대근접이웃 방법은 데이터에 대한 특별한 가정이 필요 없고, 모수 추정 과정이 필요 없어 실시간 교통관리시스템에 적합하다. K 최대근접이웃 방법의 우수성을 평가하기 위해 교통 분야에서 많이 적용되고 있는 이력자료 평균방법과 칼만 필터방법을 선정하여 평균절대백분율오차와 변동계수를 통해 평가하였다. 평가 결과 K 최대근접이웃 방법이 이력자료 평균방법과 칼만 필터방법에 비해 우수한 것으로 분석되었다. 통행시간 정보 제공 시 본 연구에서 개발된 방법을 통해 도출된 통행시간과 구간검지기로부터 관측된 통행시간을 탄력적으로 적용함으로써 통행시간 정보의 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

System Strategies for Time-Domain Emission Measurements above 1 GHz

  • The application of time-domain methods in emission measurement instruments allows for a reduction in scan time by several orders of magnitude and for new evaluation methods to be realized such as the real-time spectrogram to characterize transient emissions. In this paper two novel systems for time-domain EMI measurements above 1 GHz are presented. The first system combines ultra-fast analog-to-digital-conversion and real-time digital signal processing on a field-programmable-gate-array (FPGA) with ultra-broadband multi-stage down-conversion to enable measurements in the range from 10 Hz to 26 GHz with high sensitivity and full-compliance with the requirements of CISPR 16-1-1. The required IF bandwidths were added to allow for measurements according to MIL-461F and DO-160F. The second system realizes a system of time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and has an upper bandwidth limit of 4 GHz. With the implementation of an automatic mismatch calibration, the system fulfills CISPR 16-1-1 dynamic range requirements. Measurements of the radiated emissions of electronic consumer devices and household appliances like the non-stationary emissions of a microwave oven are presented. A measurement of a personal computer's conducted emissions on a power supply line according to DO-160F is given.

이온전극을 이용한 순환식 양액 자동 조제에 관한 연구 (Study on Automatic Mixing of Nutrient Solution Using ion Electrodes for Closed-Loop Hydroponics)

  • This study was carried out to develop an automatic mixing system of nutrient solution for closed-loop hydroponics using ion electrodes. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1. It appeared that ion-electrodes had not to be soaked into nutrient solution for a long time since it was much less durable than EC or PH sensors. Once ion-electrodes were soaked into real nutrient solution for a long time, they became unstable. 2. ion measurement modules, which were able to sample recirculated nutrient solution and easily wash and dry ion-electrodes, were developed in order to use ion-electrodes continuously. 3. The results of calibration tests on three kinds of ion electrodes presented that the time required to read measurement data was over 30 seconds. Using the calibration data the regression equations for the ion electrodes were developed. 4. An automatic nutrient-solution mixing system using the three kinds of ion electrodes was developed and then its accuracy was examined. The control errors of the mixing system using ion electrodes were in the range of 9.8 to 12%.

이동 로봇의 실시간 자세 추정을 위한 센서 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Sensor System for Real-Time Posture Measurement of Mobile Robots)

  • A sensor system has been developed to measure the posture(position and orientation) of mobile robots working in industrial environments. The proposed sensor system consists of a CCD camera, retro-reflective landmarks, a strobe unit and an image processing board. The proposed hardware system can be built in economic price compared to commercial vision systems. The system has the capability of measuring the posture of mobile robots within 60 msec when a 386 personal computer is used as the host computer. The experimental results demonstrated a remarkable performance of the proposed sensor system in the posture measurement of mobile robots - the average error in position is less than 3 mm and the average error in orientation is less than 1.5.

진공공간 내 나노급 오염입자의 실시간 진단시스템 개발 (Development of real-time nanoscale contaminant particle characteristics diagnosis system in vacuum condition)

  • Particle characteristics diagnosis system (PCDS) was developed to measure submicron particle characteristics by modulation of particle beam mass spectrometry (PBMS) with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS). It is possible to measure the particle size distribution in real-time, and the shape, composition can be measured in sequence keeping vacuum condition. Apparatus was calibrated by measuring the size classified NaCl particle which generated at atmospheric pressure. After the calibration, particles were sampled from the exhaust line of plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) process and measured. Result confirms that PCDS is capable for analyzing particles in vacuum condition.

Real-time Spectroscopic Ellipsometry studies of the Effect of Preparation Parameters on the Coalescence Characteristics of Microwave-PECVD Diamond Films

  • The growth of diamond films in plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition(PECVD) processes requires high substrate temperatures and gas pressures, as well as high-power excitation of the gas source. Thus determining the substrate temperature in this severe environment is a challenge. The issue is a critical one since substrate temperature is a key parameter for understanding and optimizing diamond film growth. The precise Si substrate temperature calibration based on rapid-scanning spectroscopic ellipsometry have been developed and utilized. Using the true temperature of the top 200 ${\AA}$ of the Si substrate under diamond growth conditions, real time spectroellipsometry (RTSE) has been performed during the nucleation and growth of nanocrystallind thin films prepared by PECVD. RTSE shows that a significant volume fraction of nondiamond(or{{{{ {sp }^{2 } -bonded}}}}) carbon forms during thin film coalescence and is trapped near the substrate interface between ∼300 ${\AA}$ diamond nuclei.

연삭가공 중인 피스톤 링 그루브의 실시간 연삭폭 측정법 개발 (Real-time measurement of the width of piston ring groove on the grinding process)

  • A non-contact type measurement system is specially devised to measure the width of a piston ring groove in the grinding process. This system comprises a line camera with an imaging lens, collimated white light source, and a one axis translation stage. When the measurement system movesalong the diagonal direction of the cylinder, the line camera captures an image. By analyzing such images, the width of the piston ring groove can be determined. The experimental results prove that the proposed system is useful, especially as a monitoring system in grinding piston ring grooves on cylinders with accuracy of several micrometers in an area of dozens of millimeters.

  • Electrical impedance plethysmography is still be one of the simplest and most convenient methods or non-invasive measurement of blood low, but it has the weak point can not do real-time measurement because of using chart-record or processing after receiving data from analog plethysmography through A/D converter. In this study. we developed hardware system composed of analog part which include auto-balancing circuit and calibration register and digital part which include 80C196KC, keypad, and LCD. we studied the algorithms or extracting parameter to calculate blood low and implemented it using general purpose micro controller.

동영상에서 실시간 얼굴검출에 관한 연구 (A Study on Real-time Face Detection in Video)

  • 본 논문은 동영상에서 실시간 얼굴검출을 위하여 Residual Image 검출과 색상정보를 이용한 얼굴검출 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 동영상에서 빠른 처리 속도와 높은 얼굴 검출율을 나타냈으며 기울어진 얼굴영상에 대한 보정작업을 통하여 검출 에러율을 줄였다. 실시간으로 전송된 동영상에서 검출의 대상이 되는 정지영상을 추출한다. 추출된 영상은 기울어진 얼굴검출을 위한 window회전 알고리즘을 사용하고 이렇게 보정된 영상은 얼굴 검출에 필요한 특징을 추출하기 위해 AdaBoost알고리즘을 사용하여 실시간으로 얼굴이 검출된 영상을 획득하게 된다.
