In this paper, all elements used in integrated infrastructure for job competency assessments of NCS (National Competency Standards) will be merged into assessment system using multiple devices(ASMD). NCS is a systematic approach on required abilities (knowledge, technical expertise, attitude) to process the tasks in the fields by industry. Competiveness of ASMD design is that no limitation of time and space using personal devices like PC, laptop, smartphone, and tablet, while seeing screen, hearing, touching, speaking, and writing. Question type can be limitless to express the situation. To lead technologies and market for domestic and oversea assessment system, supporting on multiple devices with connectivity that will eliminate limitation of time and space is the key feature for design competitiveness. Design of integrated assessment system proposed in this paper can be applied to NCS, fundamental competency evaluation, online test, job aptitude test, and foreign language test which involve listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Compared with existing evaluation method, reduction of investment and operating cost will be greater. Along with development of ICT technologies, the next generation of integrated assessment system will be quickly changed to ASMD, which already involves connected service between internet and smart devices.

The purpose of this study is to develop the assessment rubric of mathematical communication ability by each type: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and graphic. This rubric is qualified in the content-validity and reliability by professional educators' evaluation and correlation coefficient. 16 math educators judged that this involves the results of learning mathematical communication, the results of possible instruction, and the content of scoring mathematical communication by teachers. 170 middle school students were tested by the assessment task according to the types of mathematical communication. After two researchers and two teachers scored the tasks, correlation coefficient was calculated between evaluators. The coefficient is evaluated high in that it is more than 0.70.

This study explored an alternative activity for the assessment of young children's literacy in Korea; namely, the evaluation of children's ability to construct meaning independent of decoding skill. The subjects were 78 children 4 to 5 years of age in Seoul. Instruments were the researcher's revised form of the Story Construction from a Picture Book, TRSR (Teachers' Ratings of Students' Reading) designed by van Kraayenoord & Paris (1996), and the revised form of the WLAT (Written Language Awareness Test, Kim, 1995). The assessment scores and oral responses of the children were analyzed by Pearson's r, MANOVA and one-way ANOVA, using repeated measures. The findings showed that (1) the story construction total scores were significantly correlated with WALT scores and the subcategory scores were intercorrelated with each other. (2) The story construction total scores differed by age, and (3) the 2 phase scores were higher than the 1 phase scores.

This paper develops and builds an Integrated Assessment System for National Competency Standard Professional Basic. The integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in the National Competency Standards is developed to conduct examination by means of computers, smartphones and tablet PCs. The system can be used for the basic job competency test, examination for online cyber universities, job competency examination for enterprises, and the listening, reading, and speaking test in the foreign language proficiency examination and is even better in terms of facility investment and saved operating costs as well as efficient use of spaces in comparison with conventional evaluation schemes. Even greater synergy effects can be achieved by providing support for the integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in connection with the NCS qualification system. The evaluation system has been tested and practiced at a specialized high school and can be applied to the NCS education evaluation of the college and four-year college and to the selection examination of new employees of the company.

본 연구는 대학의 말하기 교육 유형인 발표와 토론 수업을 중심으로 동료 및 자기 평가와 피드백을 통해 말하기 능력 함양을 위한 교육 방안을 탐색해보고, 그 효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상 및 내용은 H대학교의 교양 필수인 <독서와 소통> 수업을 수강한 1학년 학생들로 '읽기, 말하기, 쓰기'의 통합 활동 중 말하기 활동과 그 효과에 한정하여 제시한 것이다. 말하기 교육에서 동료 및 자기 평가와 피드백은 학생들 간에 상호 공감대를 형성하고 협력 하에 말하기에 필요한 역량 함양과 자기 발견 및 소통을 통한 주도적인 학습이 가능하게 한다. 연구결과, 다양한 말하기 실습을 통해 말하기 태도 및 심리적 측면에 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 평가와 피드백 활동이 학생들에게 유의미한 학습 효과를 가져다 줬음을 확인할 수 있었다. 대학생의 의사소통 능력의 중요성이 강조되는 만큼 현실적이며 유용한 말하기 교육 및 지도 방안들이 지속적으로 연구 및 개발되어야 한다고 본다.

이 연구는 심리 및 신체적으로 성장단계에 있는 초등학교 6학년 어린이를 대상으로 에니어그램 성격유형을 적용한 독서지도를 실행하여 그 효과를 검증하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 에니어그램 성격유형을 적용한 독서지도의 심리적 효과를 검증하기 위하여 초등학교 6학년의 품성 및 인성발달을 위하여 필요한 심리요인들로서 자기격려, 자기효능감, 사회성을 본 실험연구의 검사도구로 채택하였다. 초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 에니어그램 성격유형을 적용한 독서수업을 실행하고 효과를 검증하기 위하여 2개 학급을 편의모집하여 각각 실험집단과 통제집단으로 배치하였다. 실험집단은 남학생 14명, 여학생 11명으로 구성되었으며 이들을 대상으로 프로그램을 실행하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단에게 자기격려, 자기효능감, 사회성 척도를 사용하여 사전 사후 검사를 실시하여 발달정도를 측정하였다. 또 실험집단에는 에니어그램 성격유형을 적용한 독서지도를 실험 처치하여 결과를 공분산분석(Anova)을 통하여 통제집단과 비교하였다. 결과적으로 실험집단에서 자기격려, 자기효능감, 사회성 모두 향상되었다.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명을 기반으로 한 진로탐구 독서 프로그램을 구성하여 참가자들의 진로의식 발달에 미치는 효과를 측정하고자 초등학교 학생 대상 실험집단 12명, 통제집단 12명을 대상으로 사전-사후 검사를 실시하였다. 12회기의 진로탐구 독서 프로그램을 실험집단에 시행한 후 진로발달 검사를 실시하였을 때, 실험집단은 통제집단과 비교하여 진로발달의 아홉 가지 하위 영역에서 통계적으로 유의한 효과를 보였다. 또한 실험집단의 만족도 조사와 반응 조사 및 면담 결과, 진로탐구 활동에 대한 성취감을 증가시키고 미래 직업 개념 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 주었음을 발견하였다.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to systematically analyze the reliability and validity of the Korean-version of the balance assessment tools. METHODS: Two reviewers of this study independently evaluated the titles of articles and abstracts of studies published until December 2016 through electronic databases (RISS, NDSL, KISS, DBpia) using the keywords "Balance or posture or postural control or postural stability", "Test or assessment or measurement or outcome measure or assessment tool or measurement tool", "Korean version", "Reliability" and "Validity". Regarding the questions considered suitable for the purpose of this study, consensus was reached after reading the full text. Selecting journals suitable for the purpose of the study, they were analyzed as data. RESULTS: The reviewers selected nine papers suitable for the purpose of this study, and Korean-version of the balance assessment tools, included the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Activities-specific Balance Confidence (ABC) scale, Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS), Motor Assessment Scale (MAS), Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), Falls Efficacy Scale (FES), Tinetti-Balance scale, Fullerton Advanced Balance (FAB) scale, and Function In Sitting Test (FIST). Our study showed that the reliability and validity of the Korean-version of the balance assessment tools were high. CONCLUSION: The Korean-version of the balance assessment tools with high reliability and validity would enable physical therapists to make a more accurate evaluation of balance.

This paper offers a critical review of a newspaper argument regarding the problems of high school education assessment for university entrance examination system in the United Kingdom. The media account raises three sets of questioning to hold that the nation's long-standing A-levels have failed and is no longer viable as a high-stakes test. However, it is found that the writer's argumentations involving misleading conceptions can be deconstructed because of invalid reasoning and unreliable evidence. So, it is proposed that a reasonable solution to replace the discredited A-level exams should be to adopt an eclectic approach for assessing candidates' multiple capabilities; performance, potentiality and critical thinking skills. These criteria for component-oriented assessments are designed to measure their high school academic achievements and intellectual capacity for tertiary education; in the process of such measurement, critical-logical reasoning abilities for sound judgment and problem-solving tasks should be incorporated with the basic precondition that each university possesses its own discretion for the determination of adequate proportions to reflect each of the assessment outcomes. It is, therefore, expected that this critical review will inspire the readers to understand aspects of assessment as an educational field and to confirm how seriously they may be misguided by a distorted media argumentation without substantive background knowledge.

Dysphonia is well known as one of the otolaryngological symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. The vocal changes of the COVID-19 condition have been reported in terms of parameters of multi-dimensional voice assessment, including acoustic analysis, auditory-perceptual evaluation, and psychometric assessment. However, there has not been a daily followup study in patients with acute COVID-19 infection. In this study, a 41-year-old male performed daily voice recordings of vowel phonation and passage-reading tasks during the self-quarantine period of one week. Compared to the normal voice status of the prepandemic period, voice abnormalities peaked on day two after the diagnosis of COVID-19 infection and recovered after one week.
