적응학습 퍼지-신경회로망에 의한 IPMSM의 최대토크 제어 (Maximum Torque Control of IPMSM with Adaptive Learning Fuzzy-Neural Network)

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current md voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current $i_d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. The hybrid combination of neural network and fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속 드라이브를 위하여 IPMSM의 약계자 영역에서 최대 토크제어를 제시한다. 최대 토크동작을 위하여 최적 d축 전류를 결정하고 이 전류를 각 제어모드에서 사용한다. 최대 토크를 발생하기 위하여 전류 조절기의 출력인 인버터의 출력전압은 DC 링크전압을 최대로 이용한다. 제어모드의 원활한 전이는 지령신호에 기초하여 자동적으로 수행한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 최대 토크제어로 IPMSM 드라이브에 적용시험을 한다. 그리고 시험결과의 응답특성을 다양하게 분석하여 본 논문의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 단상 유도전동기의 전자식 기동장치 개발에 관해 연구하였다. 전자식 기동장치는 콘덴서 기동형 단상 유도전동기의 보조권선 회로에 장착된 원심력 스위치를 대체하기 위해 활용된다. 개발된 전자식 기동장치는 보조권선의 전압을 관측하여 전동기가 정격속도에 가까워지면 보조권선을 전원으로부터 개방하는 역할을 수행한다. 범용 단상 유도전동기에 사용되고 있는 원심력스위치는 기계식 접점을 사용하기 때문에 접점에서 불꽃이 발생하고 전동기의 수명과 신뢰성을 저감시키는 요인이 된다. 개발된 전자식 기동장치는 무접점 반도체 스위치인 트라이악을 적용함으로써 전동기의 신뢰성과 특성이 개선될 수 있으며, 저전압 및 반복실험 등의 다양한 실험을 통해 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper propose a improved operating characteristics of the 5-phase 5kW within developed the surface permanent mount synchronous generator (SPMSG) in order to make a study of a polyphase ac motors keeping hold of more advantages. The developed manufacturing motor was necessary to do improvement of voltage regulation, efficiency, operating characteristics, and so on at the rated load. There are remake a redesigned and distributed stator winding connection without changing the frames of stator and rotor core in previous established generator by a repeat tests. There are shown a amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages, and reviewing a experiment results in load of resistive and 5-phase induction motor by variable generator output frequency.

  • An adaptive maximum power point tracking (MPPT) scheme employing a variable scaling factor is presented. A MPPT control loop was constructed analytically and the magnitude variation in the MPPT loop gain according to the operating point of the PV array was identified due to the nonlinear characteristics of the PV array output. To make the crossover frequency of the MPPT loop gain consistent, the variable scaling factor was determined using an approximate curve-fitted polynomial equation about linear expression of the error. Therefore, a desirable dynamic response and the stability of the MPPT scheme were maintained across the entire MPPT voltage range. The simulation and experimental results obtained from a 3 KW rated prototype demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed MPPT scheme.

  • A programmable smart charger compatible to various load conditions is proposed in this paper. Since the proposed smart charger is compatible to various mobile devices having different rated voltage and power, it is convenient for carrying and easy to standardize many kinds of battery chargers. Moreover, since it uses the input impedance and built-in PMIC (Power management IC) of the load system to recognize the connection state and specifications of load system, hardware changes of load system is not only hardly necessary but it also features no addition communication cable and easy implementation. To confirm the validity of the proposed charger, the theoretical analysis and experiment results from a prototype compatible to three load conditions 5V/1A, 5V/2A and 12V/1A are provided.

  • This paper describes current controlled PWM technique of IPM synchronous motors for a wide variety of speed control applications. They are however limited in their ability to operate in the power limited regime where the available torque is reduced as the speed is increased above its base value. This paper reviews the operation of the IPMSM drives when they are constrained to be within the permissible envelope of maximum inverter voltage and current to produce the rated power and to provide this with the highest attainable rotor speed. This paper proposes a new field-weakening control algorithm using phase current feedback to improve the torque characteristics and to reduce the torque ripple of IPMSM in the constant power region. The improved torque characteristics of speed control strategy with current feedback control algorithm is analyzed and the performance is investigated by the computer simulation results.

  • The HEV (Hybrid Electrical Vehicle) becomes commercialized recently because of high fuel efficiency and low air pollution. The highest output power system except the traction motor is an air conditioner compressor in HEV system. The full or hybrid electric compressor is applied for HEV. The general HEC (Hybrid Electric Compressor) requires the half power motor and drive system of the full electric compressor because the rated output power of motor drive system is designed to charge the minimum cooling capacity at the time of idle stop. Therefore, this hybrid electric is more economical and practical solution. In this paper, we studied about the motor drive system of hybrid electric compressor for HEV. The applied voltage specification is 42 V, an IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) is designed and applied as the compressor drive motor.

Regenerative Energy Characteristics of Battery and Supercapacitor in a PEMFC Hybrid System

  • This study focuses on the application of the PEM Fuel Cell(PEMFC) hybrid system, which includes a regenerative braking system with supercapacitor(SC) and battery. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the characteristics of regenerative energy and to propose solutions to increase regenerative energy via vehicle simulation. To achieve this target, we set the rated motor speed to 3,000/2,500/2,000 rpm. Because the flywheel is directly connected to the motor, the generator activates regenerative braking by using the rotational momentum of the flywheel when the flywheel reaches the set speed after the motor stops. We could then measure the characteristics of regenerative braking of voltage, current, power, energy change, etc. Meanwhile, we calculate the storage efficiency of the SC or the battery. Our results show that the SC stores 18% of the regenerative energy, while battery stores 15% of the energy. Since the regenerative energy decreases with the decrease of the motor rotating speed that 5,027 J and 2,915 J are restored at 3,000 and 2,500 rpm, respectively. The experimental results also prove that regenerative braking energy is able to be obtained if and only if the speed of flywheel is over 2,500 PRM, and the efficiency of the system can be further improved.
