Structural Relationship between Mobile Advertisement Characteristics, Personal Characteristics, Purchasing Attitude and Purchasing Behavior -Focus on Youth Consumers- (모바일 광고특성, 개인특성, 구매태도와 구매행동과의 구조적 관계 -청소년 소비자를 중심으로-)

  • As the penetration rate of smart phones has spread and functions have been developed variously, a new advertising medium called mobile advertising has emerged. In addition, various mobile advertisements targeting teenagers, where most of their daily lives are conducted using smartphones, have been activated. Adolescents in the modern society called Generation Z have the longest time to use a smartphone among age groups. Even during the economic downturn, adolescent consumers are an important consumer group that can overcome the economic recession, so mobile advertisements targeting their purchasing power are being created like a flood. Therefore, in this study, the influence of mobile advertisement characteristics and personal characteristics on purchasing attitudes for adolescents using smartphones was identified, and how this was linked to purchasing behavior again. To conduct the research, a survey was conducted on 324 high school students using smartphones, and the results are as follows: First, the higher the recognition of convenience in mobile advertising characteristics and brand preferences, the higher the brand preference. Characteristics and brand trust had a positive effect on acceptance as the awareness of convenience, information, and entertainment increased. Third, the influence of adolescents' personal characteristics on purchasing attitudes had a positive effect on brand preferences by pursuit of fashion, pursuit of personality, and practical pursuit. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the relationship between purchase attitude and purchase behavior, it was verified that brand preference and brand trust among purchase attitude have a positive influence on purchase behavior. This study has significance in that it has grasped the influence of mobile advertising on purchasing behavior among teenagers who are rapidly growing as mobile consumers.

The Characteristics of Oxygen Deficient Water Mass in Gamak Bay (가막만 빈산소 수괴의 특성)

  • To clarify the formation process and characteristics of oxygen deficient water mass in Gamak Bay, oxygen deficiency was weekly observed from 17 June to 12 September 2005. Surface water temperature was significantly lower in the outer bay than in the inner bay, whereas the bottom water temperature was higher in the central area of bay than in the outer and inner bay. The vertical stratification of water mass was strongly formed during the period, and thermocline was observed between 3 and 5m deep. The oxygen deficiency in the bottom layer began to appear at early July in the inner bay and gradually spread to the center area of the bay in early August. The mean transparency and light attenuation coefficient($K_d$) in water mass was 4.0m and 0.47, respectively. Average concentrations of nutrient and chlorophyll ${\alpha}$ in the bottom layer were significantly higher than those in surface, and those concentrations were significantly higher in the inner bay than in the outer bay. During the formation of oxygen deficiency in the bottom layer, oxygen penetration depth in the bottom sediment were extremely shallow, and oxygen consumption rate in the bottom sediment were lower than that in the area where oxygen deficient water mass disappeared. Dissolved oxygen concentrations in the bottom layer are negatively correlated with nutrient concentrations, whereas those in the surface layer did not show a significant relationship with nutrient concentrations. Elevated loss of oxygen in the bottom water mass was attributed to the increase of the oxygen consumption rates in sediments and the decomposition of organic matter by microorganism.

A Study on the Spatial Information and Location Environment of Dead Coniferous Tree in Subalpine Zone in Jirisan National Park -Focus on Korean Fir(Abies koreana) in Banyabong, Yeongsinbong, Cheonwangbong- (지리산국립공원 아고산대 침엽수 고사개체 공간정보 구축 및 입지환경 분석 - 반야봉, 영신봉, 천왕봉 일원 구상나무를 중심으로-)

  • This study aimed to analyze the rate of increase and spread patterns of dead trees of the conifer (Abies koreana and others) in subalpine zones by using the high-resolution aerial images in Jirisan National Park around 10 years ago. Furthermore, factors affecting the death of conifer were identified by analyzing the altitude, topographical information, solar radiation, and moisture environment of the site where the dead trees are located. The number of dead trees per unit area increased by two to five times in the Banyabong peak, Yeongsinbong peak, and Cheonwangbong peak in Jirisan National Park over the past decade. The increase was about 2 times in the Banyabong peak, about 3.9 times in the Yeongsinbong peak, and about 5.2 times in the Cheonwangbong peak, indicating the most notable increase in the Cheonwangbong peak. It is estimated that dead trees commonly occurred in the environments where the soil moisture content was low due to the high slope, amount of evaporation was high due to strong solar radiation as the location faced south, and the soil was dry due to strong solar radiation and short rain retention time. In other words, dead conifer trees in subalpine zones were concentrated in dry location environments, and the tendency was the same more than ten years ago.

Mass Screening Method for Rice Virus Resistance Using Screen House (망실을 이용한 벼 바이러스병 저항성 대량 검정체계)

  • To breed virus resistant rice variety, developing an efficient screening method is the most important. Two screening methods such as field screening and tray screening method have been used, but the efficiency of the field screening method is too low because of environment factors and the that of the tray screening method is good but screening capability is limited with only $200{\sim}300$ lines per year. To overcome those problems, mass screening method using screen house was developed. Barely as host plant of vector insect was grown in screen house in winter season. Then viruliferous insects are spread in the first spring of the initiation year and sustain them annually. Screening of virus resistance was tested two times in a year, the first screening was from April to June and the second from July to September. The virus infected rate of each susceptible varieties was increased to 92% for RSV and 100% for RDV from the second year. Also, this method can evaluate as many as $1,500{\sim}2,000$ pedigree lines in one time compared with the tray screening method. The result indicates that the mass screening method using screen house, which combines the advantages of the field and tray screening methods, is proven to be more efficient and reliable.

As the Korean webtoon companies spread out to the world briskly, The leading publication cartoon market, Japan tries to break into the Korean digital market. The domestic market that has the good-quality cartoons through exportation and importation to make people of all ages enjoy them. and also the Korean webtoon is in the center of the global webtoon markert. The early model of Korean webtoon, line-webtoon is translated in English, Chinese, Thai language and Indonesian language to use on the mobile applications and web. Nevertheless, It is just the stating point. With Eradicating of the Achilles heel of the digital contents, illegal distribution and finding materials for cultural discount rate minimized cartoon, The Korean webtoon can become the highest in the global market and hold it. Moreover, not only webtoon but also published cartoons are existing together to have a long run. Beyond the existing cartoon books printed on paper, we should reach toward the digital books with portability and economic feasibility to make the contents stay out longer.

Changes in Residential and Dietary Environments for People in Their Seventies and Eighties in Comparison to Those in Their Forties in Rural Area (2001-2010) (농촌 거주 70-80대 노인의 주거 및 식생활 환경 변화추이 2001-2010 -40대와 비교-)

  • To prepare for the changes in the future, this study considered people in their seventies and eighties in rural areas in the last decade. Based on a survey of rural life by the Rural Development Administration, all factors were analyzed using SAS ver. 9.3. The rate of rice farming decreased, and vegetable-cultivation increased from 8.4% in 2001 to and 26.6% in 2008 for people in their seventies and eighties. The number of family members decreased to 1.96 in 2010 from 2.04 in 2001, and annual income increased by KRW 20-29 million for those in their seventies and eighties, whereas it was more than KRW 30 million for those in their forties. Bathing with warm water increased to 88.9% from 69.8%, and household waste treated by self-incineration decreased from 86.4% to 40.0% in the last decade. Separate collection spread since 2008. Food waste disposal and the burial (46.0%) showed had for people in their seventies and eighties, and animal feed increased (50.7%) for those in their forties at 2001. The separate collection increased by 39.6% in 2010 for those in their seventies and eighties and by 53.5% for those in their forties(p<0.05). The manufacture of jang and kimchi showed were little annual changes for people in their seventies and eighties. Food storage processing was higher for those in their forties. For those in their seventies and eighties, food group intake over the 2004-2010 period increased from 3.3 times a week to 4.2 times a week for protein foods and from 4.9 times a week to 5.5 times a week for vegetables. There was no change in fruits, milk, and seaweeds for those in their seventies and eighties, but there was an increase for those in their forties. The results suggest the continued increase in the manufacture of jang and kimchi and protein and vegetable intake for those in their seventies and eighties. Some direction to welfare, mechanized rice planting and living with neighbors together would be continued with good nutrition for elderly residents.

CORE-Dedup: IO Extent Chunking based Deduplication using Content-Preserving Access Locality (CORE-Dedup: 내용보존 접근 지역성 활용한 IO 크기 분할 기반 중복제거)

  • Recent wide spread of embedded devices and technology growth of broadband communication has led to rapid increase in the volume of created and managed data. As a result, data centers have to increase the storage capacity cost-effectively to store the created data. Data deduplication is one way to save the storage space by removing redundant data. This work propose IO extent based deduplication schemes called CORE-Dedup that exploits content-preserving access locality. We acquire IO traces from block device layer in virtual machine host, and compare the deduplication performance of chunking method between the fixed size and IO extent based. At multiple workload of 10 user's compile in virtual machine environment, the result shows that 4 KB fixed size chunking and IO extent based chunking use chunk index 14500 and 1700, respectively. The deduplication rate account for 60.4% and 57.6% on fixed size and IO extent chunking, respectively.

Oil Fence Durability Enhancement for Marine Environmental Protection : Improvement of Inspection Process (해양환경 보호를 위한 오일펜스의 내구성 향상 : 검정제도 개선 방향)

  • Oil fences effectively prevent the spread of oil spilled in the sea, thereby reducing the damage to the marine environment. However, the fence is damaged by oil and structures at the accident site and is discarded. When incinerated disposal method for discarded fences, fine dust, and harmful materials are generated. Moreover, as a part of the damaged fence is dumped into the sea, it may cause secondary environmental pollution, such as microplastics. Therefore, in this study, durability was measured using the most common solid foam type oil fences. As a result, the reduction rate of after five days of contact was 13 % in seawater and 3 % in oil, affected by temperature changes. Thus, the durability of the fence should be improved because it is exposed to seawater and oil and affected by wind, light, and waves depending on the weather conditions. Therefore, we suggest a method to improve the oil fence inspection to strengthen the durability of the fence's fabric part.

  • Coronaviruses were originally discovered as enzootic infections that limited to their natural animal hosts, but some strains have since crossed the animal-human species barrier and progressed to establish zoonotic diseases. Accordingly, cross-species barrier jumps resulted in the appearance of SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and SARS-CoV-2 that manifest as virulent human viruses. Coronaviruses contain four main structural proteins: spike, membrane, envelope, and nucleocapsid protein. The replication cycle is as follows: cell entry, genome translation, replication, assembly, and release. They were not considered highly pathogenic to humans until the outbreaks of SARS-CoV in 2002 in Guangdong province, China. The consequent outbreak of SARS in 2002 led to an epidemic with 8,422 cases, and a reported worldwide mortality rate of 11%. MERS-CoVs is highly related to camel CoVs. In 2019, a cluster of patients infected with 2019-nCoV was identified in an outbreak in Wuhan, China, and soon spread worldwide. 2019-nCoV is transmitted through the respiratory tract and then induced pneumonia. Molecular diagnosis based on upper respiratory region swabs is used for confirmation of this virus. This review examines the structure and genomic makeup of the viruses as well as the life cycle, diagnosis, and potential therapy.
