생활권에 분포하는 소규모 습지 기능 간편평가기법(RAMS) 연구 (Rapid Assessment Method for Small Wetlands Function (RAMS) Distributed in the Living Area)

  • 생활권 습지는 지역주민의 일상생활이나 혹은 영농행위의 기반이 되는 중요한 생태자원으로서 생태계서비스와 그린인프라 등 생태적 가치가 높다. 본 연구는 소규모 생활권 습지에 최적화된 기능평가 방법론(RAMS)을 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 전문가에 의한 현장평가와 설문 및 심층면접을 바탕으로 생물다양성 및 건강성, 친수문화 장소성, 물순환, 탄소흡수 등 4개 기능항목와 15개 세부지표, 각 세부지표별 평가등급은 5점척도로 구성된 평가도구를 개발하였다. 본 연구 결과 제안된 소규모 생활권 습지에 최적화된 평가방법론(RAMS)은 국내외 소규모 생활권 습지의 보전 복원 및 관리를 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

유해화학물질 대기확산 예측을 위한 RAMS 기상모델의 적용 및 평가 - CARIS의 바람장 모델 검증 (Application and First Evaluation of the Operational RAMS Model for the Dispersion Forecast of Hazardous Chemicals - Validation of the Operational Wind Field Generation System in CARIS)

  • The statistical indexes such as RMSE (Root Mean Square Error), Mean Bias error, and IOA (Index of agreement) are used to evaluate 3 Dimensional wind and temperature fields predicted by operational meteorological model RAMS (Regional Atmospheric Meteorological System) implemented in CARIS (Chemical Accident Response Information System) for the dispersion forecast of hazardous chemicals in case of the chemical accidents in Korea. The operational atmospheric model, RAMS in CARIS are designed to use GDAPS, GTS, and AWS meteorological data obtained from KMA (Korean Meteorological Administration) for the generation of 3-dimensional initial meteorological fields. The predicted meteorological variables such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and precipitation amount, during 19 ∼ 23, August 2002, are extracted at the nearest grid point to the meteorological monitoring sites, and validated against the observations located over the Korean peninsula. The results show that Mean bias and Root Mean Square Error are 0.9 (m/s), 1.85 (m/s) for wind speed at 10 m above the ground, respectively, and 1.45 ($^{\circ}C$), 2.82 ($^{\circ}C$) for surface temperature. Of particular interest is the distribution of forecasting error predicted by RAMS with respect to the altitude; relatively smaller error is found in the near-surface atmosphere for wind and temperature fields, while it grows larger as the altitude increases. Overall, some of the overpredictions in comparisons with the observations are detected for wind and temperature fields, whereas relatively small errors are found in the near-surface atmosphere. This discrepancies are partly attributed to the oversimplified spacing of soil, soil contents and initial temperature fields, suggesting some improvement could probably be gained if the sub-grid scale nature of moisture and temperature fields was taken into account. However, IOA values for the wind field (0.62) as well as temperature field (0.78) is greater than the 'good' value criteria (> 0.5) implied by other studies. The good value of IOA along with relatively small wind field error in the near surface atmosphere implies that, on the basis of current meteorological data for initial fields, RAMS has good potentials to be used as a operational meteorological model in predicting the urban or local scale 3-dimensional wind fields for the dispersion forecast in association with hazardous chemical releases in Korea.

  • There are lots of efforts to get more and more higher level of reliability, maintainability, availability, and safety in all the railway system development process. To do a RAMS activity and process very effectively, many an information is required based on operational knowledge and manufacturer's engineering technology together. But some interests between organization in demand sector and manufacturers in supply makes it difficult to do. This paper, for this reason, presents an idea about the activities and process for SR001 system, which is newly under developing and manufacturing by SMRT. Especially, we provide it with some idea how to integrate every activity and process and to analyze it specifically for system level as well. With these efforts, we provide a typical RAMS process of SR001 that could be applicable to other rolling stock system and the improvement of the system over total life cycle phases.

이중 포트 메모리를 위한 고장 진단 알고리듬 (Fault Diagnosis Algorithm for Dual Port Memories)

  • 현재 다양한 분야에서 이중 포트 메모리의 사용이 증가함에 따라서 이중 포트 메모리의 고장을 진단하기 위한 효율적인 고장 진단 알고리듬의 필_도성이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이중 포트 메모리에서의 효율적인 고장 진단 알고리듬을 제시하여 이중 포트 메모리에서 발생하는 거의 모든 종류의 고장에 대한 진단을 가능하게 한다. 또한 진단 과정에서 착오를 일으키지 않고 다양한 고장 모델을 구별하며 고장과 관련된 위치를 정확하게 확인하는 것이 가능하다. 새로운 진단 알고리듬을 사용함으로서 이중 포트 메모리에서의 고장 진단과정은 효과적으로 수행될 수 있으며 이전의 다른 연구들과의 성능 평가를 통해 효율성을 확인할 수 있다.

전동차 전기식 도어시스템의 구성부품에 대한 발열 특성분석 (Analysis of Thermal Characteristics for Components of Electrical Door System in Electric Multiple Unit)

  • This research conducted an the failure analysis was performed based on the failure and operation data for Seven years using the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety(RAMS) constructed at the operation stage after the opening of the D urban railway. therefore, the risk priority was selected for failure frequency component within the door system that showed high failure. Finally, the goal was to suggest ways to improve the door system. For this purpose, the analysis of thermal characteristics of failed components such as Door Control Unit(DCU) in the door system based on the Seven-year failure analysis data of RAMS was performed. These results were applied to the main component exchange cycle of the door unit, the mean time between failure(MTBF) and mean kilometer between failure(MKBF) values of RAMS increased by 26% in 2017-2018 when the improvement measures were taken, and the MTBF value of DCU was 300,000 hours, which was a 57% improvement in reliability. The results of this thesis identify potential enhancements in reliability and improvements in maintenance of the door system that, if implemented, would contribute to train safety and reduce instances of failure in the future.

  • The evaluation theory of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) as a mature theory of state evaluation in the railway engineering, can be well used to the evaluation, management, and maintenance of complicated structure like the long-span bridge structures on the high-speed railway. Taking a typical steel-truss arch bridge on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, the Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge, this paper developed a new method of state evaluation for the existing steel-truss arch high-speed railway bridge. The evaluation framework of serving state for the bridge structure is presented based on the RAMS theory. According to the failure-risk, safety/availability, maintenance of bridge members, the state evaluation method of each monitoring item is presented. The weights of the performance items and the monitoring items in all evaluation levels are obtained using the analytic hierarchy process. Finally, the comprehensive serving state of bridge structure is hierarchical evaluated.

도시철도 승강설비의 가용성, 유지보수성 및 안전성 입증 (Validation of Availability, Maintainability and Safety for Subway Elevating Equipment)

  • Purpose: In order to fulfill the RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) requirements in Korean railway systems, specific target metrics should be measured and met the requirements when ordering a new system. This paper presents a procedure to predict and demonstrate the availability, maintainability and safety of subway elevators, escalators and PSD (platform screen doors) systems. Methods: The system manufacturer predicts availability and maintainability with lab and field tested data. After installation, availability and maintainability are demonstrated based on the actual operational data. The data was collected from the FRACAS (Failure Report and Corrective Action System). Results: Methods and process of assessing and analyzing the availability, maintainability and safety are presented for elevating services and PSD systems. The data obtained through the actual operation of the equipment is analyzed and maintained to predict the RAMS based on the component and system level failure data acquired. Conclusion: This study presented an application using IEC 62278 and operational data which can be used in the design and development stage to achieve the RAMS target value of the subway elevators, escalators and PSD systems.

CORRELATION BETWEEN TESTICLE MEASUREMENTS AND LIBIDO AND SEMEN QUALITY IN RAMS

  • A study was conducted at Ijok, Malaysia, to determine the relationship of testicular measurements with libido and semen quality in tropical and imported temperate breeds of sheep. Ten rams each of Malin (M), Siamese Longtail (L), Cross of Merino with Border Leicester (C), Dorset (D) and Suffolk (S) were used for the study. Libido, semen volume and semen quality were recorded monthly for a year together with testicular length, width and circumference. The results showed that there were breed differences in volume and quality of semen where the tropical breeds had better semen compared to the temperate breeds. There was positive and significant correlation between testicle length and semen volume in all the breeds. Testicular length was found to be positively and significantly correlated with motility and sperm concentration in the tropical breeds (L and M). The relationship between libido and testicle measurements in the tropical breeds was not significant (p<0.05). There was variable relationship between the testicular measurements and libido in the temperate breeds where the relationship was significant and negative in breeds C and D and highly significant and positive in S. It was evident that the long testicles influenced the quality of the semen whereas testicles with greater circumference influenced the libido of the rams.

도시형자기부상열차 열차제어시스템 RAMS 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the RAMS Analysis of Urban Maglev Train Control System)

  • 도시형 자기부상열차 실용화사업에 적용된 유도무선루프방식 열차제어시스템에 대하여 최상위 레벨에서 전체 시스템에 대한 시스템 분류, 기능 분석을 시행하고 차상신호설비, 지상신호설비로 나누어 신뢰도, 가용도, 유지보수도 및 안전도를 수식을 통하여 분석한 결과를 제시하였다. RAM 분석은 신뢰도 블록도(RBD)를 각 장치별로 적용하여 시스템 서비스 가용도를 산출하였고, 안전도 분석은 PHA(예비위험원 분석), FMEA (고장모드영향분석), HAZOP을 통한 각각의 정상사상(Top Event)의 FTA(고장트리분석)을 시행하고 그 결과를 제시하여 RAMS 목표 값에 도달함을 수식을 통하여 증명하였다.

고장 안전 특성을 가지는 내장형 AVTMR 시스템의 설계 및 RAMS 평가 (Design and RAMS Evaluation of embedded AVTMR System with Fail-safe Output Voter)

  • 본 논문에서는 결함의 영향을 받지 않고, 결함이 발생하여도 안전측으로 동작할 수 있는 고장안전 보터(Fail-safe Voter)의 특성을 가지는 AVTMRWFSV(All Voting Triple Modular Redundancy With Fail-Safe Voter)시스템 구조를 설계하였으며, 마코브 모델링(Markov Modeling) 고장율에 따른 시스템의 RAMS(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety)를 평가하였다. 고장 안전 보터를 가지지 않은 AVTMR(All Voting Triple Modular Redundancy) 시스템과 AVTMRWFSV 시스템을 비교분석 하였고, 특히, 안전도(Safety)의 특성에 있어서 우수하다는 것을 보였으며, 설계된 AVTMRWFSV 시스템이 AVTMR보다 전반적인 시스템 평가에서 우수한 특성을 가진다는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통해 알 수 있었다. 이러한 AVTMRWFSV 시스템은 결함을 허용(Fault tolerant)하고, 고장 발생시 안전측으로 동작하는 특성을 가지기 때문에, 높은 신뢰성(Dependability)이나 안전성(safety)이 요구되는 통신 시스템이나 인간의 생명과 관련된 임베디드(Embedded) 철도통신 시스템, 선박 시스템이나 항공기 시스템에 적용될 수 있다.
