Hepatic stellate cells (HSC) and the derived myofibroblasts are known to playa central role in liver fibrosis. Rhus verniciflua Strokes (RVS) has traditionally been used in Korea herbal medicine for a stomachic tonic. In this study, we observed the effect of RVS acetone extract (Ra) on the proliferation, the collagen synthesis, and hepatic fibrosis related proteins mRNA levels in HSC-T6 cells which is a fully acivated rat hepatic stellate cell line.(omitted)

센서네트워크 시스템에서 배터리 대신 에너지 수확기법을 이용할 경우 획득할 수 있는 에너지는 제한적이기 때문에 기존의 방식에는 한계가 따른다. 본 논문에서는 이를 극복하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 이를 이용한 에너지 수확 기법에 기반 한 초저전력 센서네트워크 시스템을 구현하여 그 성능을 평가해 보았다.

Carpal tunnel syndrome can be produced by abnormal mass effect due to trauma, ganglion cysts, various soft tissue tumors, musculotendinous variants, and aberrant vascular structures. Persistent median artery is one of the causes of the carpal tunnel syndrome. Thrombosed persistent median artery usually accompanies the anomaly of the median nerve and causes a sudden onset of severe pain and paresthesia. In contrast to previous literature, we report the rare case of gradual onset and mild symptom of a 53-year-old man with a thrombosed persistent median artery but without anomaly of the median nerve and abnormal finding of electrophysiologic study.

프로세스 복구 기법은 장시간 실행을 요하는 프로세스에서 시스템 결함으로 인하여 발생하는 심각한 피해를 최소화하기 위하여 절대적으로 요구된다. 프로세스의 무결성을 지원하기 위한 예방 및 회피책은 결함 발생의 원인 규명과 예측에 의한 오버헤드가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 오버헤드를 최소화하기 위한 결함 허용 프로세스 복구 기법을 제시한다. 제시한 기법은 프로세스의 실행 상태 저장 및 복구 기능을 위한 두 개의 시스템 호출을 설계하고, 리눅스 커널 2.4.18 내부에 구현하여 그 타당성을 검토하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the close relation between Okounkov bodies and Zariski decompositions of pseudoeffective divisors on smooth projective surfaces. Firstly, we completely determine the limiting Okounkov bodies on such surfaces, and give applications to Nakayama constants and Seshadri constants. Secondly, we study how the shapes of Okounkov bodies change as we vary the divisors in the big cone.

현재의 가전기기들은 인터넷과 결합하여 정보가전기기로 변해 가는 추세이다. 현재 시판중인 몇몇의 인터넷 정보가전기기들이 있지만 불필요한 기능이 많고 복잡하며 일반기기에 비해서 너무 비싼게 현실이다. 이 논문에서 제시하고자 하는 모델은 필요로 하는 기능을 쉽게 사용학 수 있으면서 저렴한 가격에 임베디드 웹서버를 연결하여 인터넷 정보가전기기를 사용할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다.

Various conditions such as pain or effusion of temporomandibular joint, degenerative condylar resorption, and articular disc displacement can be a cause of malocclusion. However, the reasons of occlusal changes are ambiguous in some patients. Unexpected occlusal change in patients with or without temporomandibular disorder (TMD) symptom was mostly caused by masticatory muscular disorders. This article reports two cases of recovery of occlusal relationship in TMDs patients after stabilization splint therapy. Stabilization splint therapy could be useful in certain conditions of occlusal changes in TMD.

최근 기업들이 SOA, 웹 서비스, 유틸리티 컴퓨팅, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 등과 같은 서비스 지향적인 컴퓨팅 환경에 관심을 가지면서 SLA(Service Level Agreement) 기반의 자동화된 계약관리를 원하고 있다. 일반적으로 SLA는 종이에 자연언어로 표현되어 있어서 SLA 관리나 SLA 기반의 정보처리의 자동화가 제한된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 문서형 SLA를 실행가능한 언어로 표현하는 방법을 제안한다. 그 방법의 핵심은 SLA 문장을 단문, 중문, 또는 복문 형식으로 재구성하고 각 문장을 술어논리로 표현한 뒤, 이를 Prolog 기반 프로그램으로 변환하여 실행가능한 SLA(Active SLA)를 얻는다는 것이다. 이와 함께 ASLA를 활용한 SLA 기반의 계약관리 업무의 자동화에 대한 구체적인 예도 볼 것이다.

최근 SOA와 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반의 IT 서비스가 증가함에 따라 정보처리 분야에서 SLA(Service Level Agreement)가 주목을 받고 있다. 통상의 SLA는 종이에 자연언어로 표현되는 것이어서 SLA 체결, SLA 관리나 SLA 기반 정보처리의 자동화가 제한된다. 오늘날과 같은 SOA, 온 디맨드 서비스, 유틸리티 컴퓨팅, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 서비스를 통합 자동관리할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 능동문서 기반의 ASLM(Active Service Level Managenment)의 계약체결 사용자 인터페이스(UI: User Interface)를 구현하여 일반 문서의 경우와 비교하여 보았다. 그 결과 ASLM의 UI가 SLA 체결, SLA 유지보수 자동화, 그리고 사용자의 편의성에서 SLA 기반의 계약업무 처리에 보다 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.
