R-PLM 기술 개발 시 고려사항 도출에 관한 연구 (Deduction of R-PLM technology development consideration)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 Railway BIM (Building Information Modeling)기반 PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)(R-PLM) 기술을 개발할 때 고려해야 할 사항을 도출하고 개발 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 철도 분야는 구성요소들이 객체지향적으로 모델링되고 전 생애주기가 효과적으로 관리된다면 공학건설 생산성을 극대화할 수 있다. 이 두 가지 기술은 각각 BIM, PLM 기술로 널리 알려져 있다. 연구 목적을 얻기 위해 국내 PLM과 BIM 전문가 자문을 통하여 R-PLM 기능을 명확히 정의하고 기대효과와 장애요인에 대하여 3차에 걸쳐 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 회수된 결과를 통계적으로 분석하여 분야, 경력에 따른 각 항목들의 시각 차이를 확인하고 유의미한 수준에서 우선순위를 도출하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 R-PLM 기술 개발을 위한 고려사항을 제안한다.

  • Increasing number of transactions and investments in technology has sparked a growing interest in technology valuation. However, it has not been easy to come up with an objective valuation of technology due to variance in technology value, purpose of valuation. and technology patterns. The main objective of this paper lies in the study of the traditional valuation methods and the development of a new approach for railway technology valuation.

Reliable Ethernet Architecture with Redundancy Scheme for Railway Signaling Systems

  • Recently, vital devices of the railway signaling systems have been computerized in order to ensure safe train operation. Due to this computerization, we have gradually come to need networking interfaces between these devices. Thus it is important that there be reliable communication links in the signaling systems. Network technologies are applied in the real-time industrial control system, and there are numerous studies to be carried out on the computer network technology for vital control systems such as railway signaling systems. For deploying the studies, we consider costs, reliability, safety assurance technique, compatibility, and etc. In this paper, we propose the Ethernet for railway signaling systems and also precisely describe the computer network characteristics of vital railway signaling systems. Then we demonstrate the experimental results of the proposed network algorithm, which is based on switched Ethernet technology with redundancy scheme.

  • A number of utilities are planning an realization of green railway technology in the next several years and still continue. The state of green railway technology covers a broad array of electric system capabilities and increase energy efficiency through the renewable energy system and smart operation of train and electricity infrastructure.   • The development of real-time monitoring technology provides reliable, timely information of railway maintenance and play a important role in determining the conditions of railway electrification system. Image motoring and wireless communication systems are currently used as remote transducer for real-time monitering. In this paper, we describe a real-time monitoring technology of railway electrification system based on the concept of high-voltage application, using the image processing and telemetry system methodology. the system and its performance for especially with regard to real-time monitering and railway electrification maintenance.

  • Wireless communication for train control is an active research field. The World Railway Federation in Europe developed GSM-R, which integrates the GSM-based voice call standard and train control signals. To provide advanced railway services, the LTE-R wireless communication system was developed in Korea for passenger services and wireless image information required by the railroad industry. Recently, direct communication technology for autonomous train driving has been studied to decrease the driving interval, and research is being conducted on a hyperloop train control system that runs at a maximum speed of 1,220km/h in a subvacuum environment of 0.001 atmosphere. In this paper, we summarize the trends in wireless communication technologies used for GSM-R/LTE-R railway systems. For future wireless communication in railway systems, we discuss autonomous train driving and the hyperloop railway control system, define wireless communication technology, and discuss trends in domestic and foreign technologies.

  • Due to global climate change issues, there is a growing demand for systems throughout the industry. In the case of power conversion, studies have been actively conducted to change the structure of the power conversion circuit and to apply new power devices. In particular, the WBG (Wide Band Gap), which is newly emerged device in the market for developing semiconductor technology, has demonstrated advantages in applying for various aspects in comparison to the existing Si (Silicon) Semiconductor. Recent research centers in the railway industry are focusing on developing technologies suitable for railway vehicles by utilizing these new developments in railway countries such as Japan and Europe. This paper researches the WBG device that is applicable to the auxiliary power supplies (APS) in railway system, and analyzes the downsizing effects to APS in high-speed railway by conducting a theoretical analysis and simulation.

Indirect displacement monitoring of high-speed railway box girders consider bending and torsion coupling effects

  • The dynamic displacement is considered to be an important indicator of structural safety, and becomes an indispensable part of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system for high-speed railway bridges. This paper proposes an indirect strain based dynamic displacement reconstruction methodology for high-speed railway box girders. For the typical box girders under eccentric train load, the plane section assumption and elementary beam theory is no longer applicable due to the bend-torsion coupling effects. The monitored strain was decoupled into bend and torsion induced strain, pre-trained multi-output support vector regression (M-SVR) model was employed for such decoupling process considering the sensor layout cost and reconstruction accuracy. The decoupled strained based displacement could be reconstructed respectively using box girder plate element analysis and mode superposition principle. For the transformation modal matrix has a significant impact on the reconstructed displacement accuracy, the modal order would be optimized using particle swarm algorithm (PSO), aiming to minimize the ill conditioned degree of transformation modal matrix and the displacement reconstruction error. Numerical simulation and dynamic load testing results show that the reconstructed displacement was in good agreement with the simulated or measured results, which verifies the validity and accuracy of the algorithm proposed in this paper.

  • Recently with the rapid development in mobile communication, the mobile phone are utilized in many fields of railway system within country and abroad and its use tends to increase continuously. In the railway system, the applicable realm is spreaded to the fields of railway signal communication, railway operating, track maintenance, reservation and information service, also its role is expected to increase. In this thesis, we are surveying the usage application of home and abroad mobile phone in railway system. Studying the present condition of mobile communication in railway system, we are viewing the application plan and the direction of development.

  • 국내 철도운영기관에서는 고속화 무인화에 따른 보다 효율적이고 더욱 스마트한 운영, 유지보수 및 관리를 위한 시스템을 절실히 필요로 하고 있다. 따라서 영상기반 기술을 국내 철도산업에 적용한 지능형 운영, 유지보수 및 관리 시스템 개발을 위한 많은 연구들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도안전시스템, 철도차량 유지보수, 그리고 철도시설물 관리를 위한 지능형 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 영상기반 기술을 사용한 국내 연구들을 분석한다. 그리고 딥러닝 기술 등이 사용된 보다 강력한 영상기반 기술을 적용하여 철도운영기관에서 필요한 시스템을 개발하는 연구의 방향을 제시한다.
