수동운전방식에서의 PSD 출입문 신호반응 시간 개선 방안 연구 (PSD Door Response Time Improving Method in Train Manual Operation Mode)

  • Platform Screen Door(PSD) has been installed and operated at seoul subway line $1\sim4$ in the manual train operation mode(ATS/ATC) by SeoulMetro since 2005. SeoulMetro uses the wireless (RF) communication system and the train door detection system for the link between the train and PSD doors opening/closing motion in the manual train operation mode. For the convenience and safety of passengers, the train doors and the PSD doors opening/closing shall be synchronized as much as possible. In ATO(Automatic Train Operation) mode which provides the interface between train control system and PSD system, ATO signaling system makes the train doors and PSD doors open/close command signals systematically, so PSD doors can be opened/closed almost simultaneously with the train doors. But, in the manual train control(ATS/ATC) mode, PSD system needs to detect the train doors open/close operation and make PSD open/close command signals to actuate PSD doors. These PSD open/close commanding process cause time delay of PSD doors opening/closing motion in response to the train doors opening/closing motion. Sometimes the response delay time can be over 1 second, which is not proper to operate PSD, and need to be reduced This paper presents the reduction method of the PSD response delay time to improve the convenience and safety of passengers.

Noise Prediction Based on Analysis of Noise Measured Near the Turnout System of Existing Railroad

  • At the crossings of turnout systems, noise is generated by the impact of train on the connection points. However, rapid movement changes between rail and wheels on connection point are inevitable on existing turnout section which may cause safety concern as well as noise problem caused by repeated impact load by passing train. And given the turnout is a complicated system which combines various functions such as rolling stock, trackbed, signaling, communication and electrical system, it's very difficult to expect to improve the overall performance of the turnout in such a way of optimizing only particular part of such integrated system. Since the turnout is the only movable section among the integrated parts and has complicated structure that inevitably brings about quick and sudden movement, safety has been still put on the top of the list. This study was aimed at comparing and analyzing the noise data obtained around the turnout of existing railway, by categorizing them into tilting train, high speed train and traditional train, and by distance, speed and type of turnout. And based on the data measured, the forecast of noise level when tilting train accelerates around a turnout was conducted in the study.

도시철도 무인운전에 대한 사례분석 연구 (Case Study of the Manless Operation of Urban Transit)

  • Urban transit operation is to manipulate the vehicle or train of urban transit to be operated on the basis of the installations such as track, power, communication, signaling and so on. It can be performed by manual or automated, or manned or manless operation considering its system built, operation efficiency, safety, etc. Because of the heavy impact directly to the safety of passenger transport, it has been managed strictly by the Regulation for Train Operation of Urban Transit according to Urban Transit Act. However, the present regulation has been basis of the manual operation mainly, it is crossing beyond the limitation of application to the manless operation which is being introduced moment to moment. It is needed increasingly to revise the regulation for the manless operation which is close at hand now. In this paper, we examined and analysed the cases of manless operation of urban transit planed within the country such as Busan 4th Line, Shinbundang Line, Busan-Kimhae Line, etc. based on the present regulation, and proposed the review of considerations to reflec the manless operation to the regulation to be revised.

A precast slab track partially reinforced with GFRP rebars

  • This study developed and investigated a precast slab track system partially reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) rebars in the transverse direction, which mitigated the loss of track circuit current by reducing magnetic coupling between the rails and steel reinforcements. An electric analysis was conducted and the results of the analysis verified that the GFRP rebars mitigate the reduced current strength produced by electro-magnetic induction. In the study, a three-dimensional finite element method and flexural experiments were used to study the mechanical behavior of the proposed slab track.

  • Recently, the computer based control systems instead of conventional relays circuitry are widely used to industrial applications, and also those technology is available to railway signaling which are safety-critical systems. However, the safety and reliability of software for those systems are harder to demonstrate than in traditional relays circuitry because the faults or errors can not be analyzed and predicted to those systems. So, the safety problems are crucial more and more in computer based control system. In this paper, the GRAFCET(GRAphe Fonctionnel do Commande Etape/Transition) language is used as a analysis and verification tool for safety-critical interlocking logic. The general description for Grafcet notation are provided and the general modeling for interlocking logic is presented.

  • 비정형적인 방법에 의해 설계되어진 프로토콜은 불확실성과 오류를 내포하고 있을 수 있으며, 이러한 특성은 프로토콜의 안전성에 매우 심각한 영향을 미치게 된다. 또한 구형되어진 프로토콜 명세에 만족하게 구현되어졌는지를 확인하는 것 또한 프로토콜 엔지니어링에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 즉, 프로토콜 명세의 정형검정과 적합성 시험은 프로토콜 개발 과정에서 매우 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 유한상태 레이블 천이시스템(LTS Labeled Transition System)으로 명세화된 철도 신호제어용 프로토콜 Type 1 모델에 대한 적합성 시험을 위하여 프로토콜 제어흐름을 IOFSM으로 모델링하였으며, 이 명세로부터 UIO 방법에 의한 적합성 시험계열 생성방법을 제시하였다. 또한, 프로토콜 검정 및 적합성 시험 방법을 실제 프로토콜의 정확성을 분석하는 데 사용할 수 있도록 프로토콜 검정기와 시험기를Windows 환경하에서 GUI기능에 의해 Window상에 구현되도록 하여 프로토콜 명세의 정확성을 평가할 수 있게 하였다.

  • Surge proof equipment is an installation to make surge flow on the ground promptly so as to reduce surge-related damage on infrastructure, not to prevent surge from falling down on infrastructure directly. Compared with classical line individual earth, High speed line common earth has higher surge characteristic and plays a significant role to prevent infrastructure damage and injuries from surge, or short circuit accident between 25kV catenary and rail. In this paper, we analyzed the case of accident that caused communication/signaling system impaired while a tractor crossing level crossing at Honam line; in addition, we examined the accident reduction measures to minimize injury and property damage from cutting accidents with respect to common earth network.

  • 승객서비스 장치는 역정보 등 다양한 열차운행 정보를 제공하기 위해 설치된 승객 접점장치로 고장이나 오류 시 열차운행에 영향은 적지만 승객들은 큰 불편을 느끼게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 신뢰성기반 유지보수(RCM)를 운영자 입장에서 적용했던 기존 시각에서 벗어나, 승객 입장에서 중요장치인 승객서비스 장치를 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 서울도시철도공사의 데이터를 기초로 승객서비스 장치에 대한 고장분석 및 FMEA/FMECA수행, 심각-발생도 매트릭스 및 위험우선순위평가 결과를 기반으로 통합 설정기를 분석대상으로 선정하였으며, 와이블분포를 통해 고장패턴, 고장률 등 고장해석을 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 승객서비스 장치의 고장 최소화 방안을 제시하였다.

한국형 틸팅차량 완화곡선 주행시 궤도작용력 발생경향 분석 (Analysis of Occurrence Tendency of Rail Force According to Running the Hanvit 200 Train on Transition Curve Track)

  • 국내에서 개발된 한국형 틸팅열차는 현재 시제차량 제작을 마치고, 충북선을 시작으로 시운전 시험이 단계적으로 진행되고 있다. 시운전 시험에서는 한국형 틸팅열차의 시스템 안정화를 위해 차량 외에 궤도, 구조물, 전차선, 신호 등 각 시스템 상호간의 인터페이스 검증이 필요하며, 선로구축물 분야에서는 개발차량의 증속이 궤도구조에 미치는 영향을 비롯한 궤도부담력 검토를 통해 궤도구조의 안정성과 주행안정성 평가가 수행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에 서는 완화곡선구간을 주행하는 틸팅차량(한빛200호), 고속차량(KTX) 및 일반차량(무궁화)에 의해 궤도에서 발생하는 동적 윤중 및 횡압을 측정하였다. 측정데이터를 통해 차종별 주행패턴을 비교하고 윤중과 횡압의 증감율을 확률적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 고정식 대치구조를 갖는 기존 차량의 캔트변화에 따른 발생 윤중 및 횡압의 분포범위는 일정 범위 내에서 작은 편차로 분포하였다. 반면 진자식 대차구조인 틸팅차량의 경우 캔트변화에 따른 차체의 틸팅작용에 의해 비교적 넓은 범위에 큰 편차로 궤도작용력이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다.

강체 전차선로이행구간 고속화 방안 연구 (A Study on Speed-up of a Transition Section Between Overhead Catenary and Rigid Conductor System)

  • R-Bar(Overhead Rigid Conductor system) is being developed for the high-speed in Europe because it has an advantage of cross section area reduction of tunnel compared with OCS (Overhead Catenary Line). Because there are lots of underground sections and mountains in korea, it is necessary to develop the R-Bar for a high-speed line. In this study, a method on speed-up of transition section between OCS and R-Bar is proposed. The commercial program, DAFUL, is used to predict a dynamic characteristics between Overhead Line and pantograph. The program is evaluated according to EN 50318 which is the European Norm for evaluation of the program. Using the evaluated modeling and method, a method for the max. speed of 250 km/h of transition section is proposed.
