  • Successful opening and operating of High Speed Rail in South Korea make the Korean railway industry the world's five great powers. It provides an opportunity to enter overseas rail industry to the related companies actively. Lastly developing countries want to learn about Korea's development experience and apply to there country. Also development cooperation needs are increasing. The State Brand Committee is promoting the 'Hangeul advocacy and globalization' which is expanding technology to the overseas that can be grafted in the Korean railway system as well as contributing to the globalization policies. Korea Railroad Corporation can enhance the national brand and rise of the Name value simultaneously by disseminating of operation technology. It would be a worthy project. In this study, effective support for developing strategic partnerships with the developing countries can build a future of growth. And let me introduce strategic model for overseas business expansion that is combined the railway industry and the Korean.

철도고배 전송선로 분로리액터 설치에 대한 모델링 (A modelling on Shunt Reactors in Railway Power Transmission System)

  • I In power transmission systems, voltage changes continuously as reactive power is whether over supply or shortage. Reactive power produces in generators and consumes in transmission lines, and loads. Voltages at end points of transmission lines rise which is called Ferranti effect. Excessive voltage rising can reduce transmission equipment life, the voltage rising is usually permitted within the limit of 10%~30% excess. Shunt reactors are installed in transmission lines to put a curb on voltage rising. In this paper, we tried to do modelling for shunt reactor configuration types which are no grounding, grounded and grouded neutral reactor. Simulation are carried out for reactor magnitude for compensating transmission line capacitance.

도시철도 철도안전사상사고 대응체계현황 분석을 통한 개선방향 도출 (Improvement Directions through the Analysis of the Current States of Response Systems against Railway Casualties and Accidents of Urban Railways)

  • 본 논문에서는 철도안전과 관련된 규정들을 검토하고 역 근무자 인터뷰, 8개의 도시철도 운영기관(서울도시시철도공사, 서울메트로, 인천교통고사 등)의 현재 실시하고 있는 예방대책 현황조사를 통하여 사고감소를 위한 적극적인 예방대책 수행에 어려움을 미치는 근본원인을 관련 규정의 미흡, 조직문화와 근무환경, 소극적인 운영기관의 예방대책으로 도출하고 이를 통하여 3가지 개선방향을 도출하였다. 우선 도시철도 철도안전사상사고 행동 규정 제작을 제안하였으며, 대학생 안전도우미 활용 및 운영기관 고위 관리자의 안전 교육 등 조직문화와 근무환경 개선을 위한 방향을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 적극적인 사고예방캠페인, 이용객의 교육 참여를 높일 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다. 이러한 사고감소를 위한 개선방향은 향후 운영기관의 예방대책 수립시 가이드라인의 역할을 담당할 것이라 사료된다.

고속철도차량 현가계요소 변위특성 연구 (A Study on the displacement characteristics of suspension elements for KTX)

  • The opening of high speed railway upgraded our land transportation speed limit, causing lots of changes including living and culture and also paving the way for stepping up the railway technology. However, it is also true that we had a limit to adopt the existing railway system structured for 150km/h to the new structure requiring a higher speed of approximate 300km/h due to technological, based on the time and experience. More importantly, heading toward a step of operating such a high speed railway system, it has been practically and quickly proposed that the railway needs high speed railway engineering, maintenance technology of parts of the vehicles to have a stable maintenance foundation and localization of major parts. Therefore, this study was intended to research the actual displacement characteristics in runningg on an actual track for the purpose of developing the protective and maintenance technology of springs and dampers, which are core parts among suspension elements of a high speed railway vehicle. For this, it was researched the actual vehicle test and its interpretation centered on primary spring, which is used for the suspension system of a bogie, body-body dampers and body-bogie yaw damper. Also, to analyze the displacement characteristics of suspension system in the actual conditions of high speed railway vehicles, a vehicle‘s dynamic characteristics was analyzed and interpreted. At the same time, a tester for measuring the actual displacement of such suspension elements was designed and attached to actual vehicles, to measure the displacements that occur in running it on the Seoul-Busan line, one of major lines serviced by KTX. The displacement data gained from the test with actual vehicles was analyzed for its displacement distribution depending on the service sections and frequency, with which the valuable data necessary for any potential breakdown or maintenance in the future could be obtained.

고속철도 지면반사파를 고려한 열차무선 전파모델 (Modeling of Train Radio Propagation Affected by Ground Reflected Wave in High-speed Railway)

  • 고속철도에서의 열차무선전파는 일반적인 이동통신전파와 달리 레일, 침목 및 자갈로 구성된 철로면 반사에 의해 불규칙적으로 수신되는 지면반사파의 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 불규칙적으로 수신되는 철로면 반사파를 랜덤변수로 모의하고, 여기에 송수신간 직접 경로에 의한 직접파를 추가한 열차무선 전파모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 전파모델을 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과 열차무선에서의 경로손실지수는 3.0으로 분석되어, 일반적인 이동통신환경에서의 4.0에 비해 경로손실이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 고속철도 현장에서의 열차무선 수신전력 측정치에서도 동일하게 경로손실지수가 3.0으로 분석되었다. 이상과 같은 시뮬레이션 및 측정결과로부터, 열차무선 전파모델을 검증하고 경로손실지수를 도출할 수 있었으며, 이 결과는 고속철도 열차무선통신망의 커버리지 예측 및 기지국 설계에 응용할 수 있다.

콘크리트도상(STEDEF)의 선로조건을 고려한 레일휨응력 예측과 피로수명 산출 (Evaluation of Rail Fatigue and Bending Fatigue Considering Concrete Track Condition)

  • 철도는 여객을 수송하기 위한 수단으로, 열차의 주행안정성과 탈선방지 등 절대적인 승객의 안전을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 철도에서 사용하고 있는 레일은 여객을 안전하게 수송하는데 있어 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하는 궤도의 구성품이며, 안전을 위하여 레일의 피로, 파괴에 대한 신뢰성 확보가 엄격히 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 콘크리트 궤도(STEDEF)의 현장측정을 통해 레일표면요철과 레일휨응력이 선형적인 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였으며, 레일표면요철, 궤도지지강성, 열차속도에 따른 레일의 휨응력예측식을 제시하였고, 실내 피로시험을 통해 S-N선도를 도출하여 레일 피로수명을 산정하였다.

  • 최근 신뢰성을 기반으로 한 기법을 철도차량 유지관리에 도입, 적용하기 위해 많은 계획을 세우고 정착시키려는 업무가 진행되고 있으나 시간 및 비용대비 성과에 대해 기술적인 향상이 필요하다. 신뢰성기반의 유지관리 활동은 군수분야에서 시작하여 원자력, 항공 분야 등에서 가장 활발히 추진중이지만 국내철도 현장에도 접목하려는 연구를 본 논문에서 제시하였다. 철도 운영기관에서 신뢰성관련 업무를 도입하거나 적용하기 위해서는 우선 내부의 유지관리 환경을 검토할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 검토결과를 기반으로 각종 신뢰성 기법들을 철도현장에 맞게 적용하고, 특화된 신뢰성프로세스의 정립과 주요 대상 시스템을 선정하여 RCM (Reliability Centered Mainteinance)기법을 적용하여 적정성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 철도차량 유지관리를 보다 체계적이고 합리적인 방법으로 시행하기 위한 절차를 제시하였다.

  • Railway R&D technology development projects for the economic value of technology development does not mention the estimated economic impact on future policies must reflect the issues that are raised. In the research phase of technology development by providing value and economic effects can increase the utilization of technology development are considered. However, some items in some way to analyze and quantify its effect on what the procedures are not standardized, not as needed by individual researchers and analysis by providing a variety of reliability problems can occur. Therefore, the development of technologies to measure the value and economic impact analysis and the development of a standardized manual is needed. In this paper, development of railway technology R & D performance (technical, economic) to be estimated by an objective analysis of standardized and that man should aim to create. And the standard manual of the national economic effect in the development of technologies (production inducement effect, the effect of import substitution industries, including analysis using the taxable year), due to technology development and economic benefits (investment in railways in the handbook and the feasibility of the proposed railway project to produce various ally standards), technology development, and on which to base the valuation will.

  • The public, mass transportation, monopoly, speediness and the long distance transportation of railway have realized by representative advantage from former days. But realization for railway that is declining by industry on the decline by the 1970s since the 1st World War has been changing recently newly. Development of a technology and fast change of industry environment exerted big effect about traffic. And IT and wave in 21C that is spoken for to environment changed together paradigm for railway. Now, is forecasted that period 'Renaissance of railway' may set on the near future because road embankment is getting into the spotlight again by the future alternative among transportation worldwide.   • The government have plans to improve the railway transport capacity and transport hub for the sustainable national transport and logistics system. Specially, there are much efforts to improve transportation capacity such as high speed transportation of rail freight, enlargement of BT train, development of double stack train, etc. between railway transport hubs. If the transport capacity between railway logistics hubs is increased as planned, we must increase the handling capacity of railway hub terminals. But there are limits to enlarge the terminal infrastructure because of investment scale, location circumstances and urban development plans. To ensure the capacity, with the minimum required enlargement of infrastructure, it is necessary to extremely increase the efficiency of terminal operations. For improving the efficiency, we have to introduce the efficient terminal operation systems based on u-IT and operation optimize technologies. In this paper, we analyse the issues and problems of railway terminals(including ICD) and suggest the concept of intelligent railway terminal and the construction components of technology.
