철도 입환작업 중의 인적 사고요인에 대한 인지과학적 분석 (Cognitive Analysis on Accident-related Human Factors during Shunting Movements)

  • Railroad shunting movements connecting and disconnecting train sets are very susceptible to human errors since they depend on human decision-making and action procedure that are variable to situation to situation. Nevertheless, in the investigation of railroad accidents, all the accident causes related with human factors have merely been categorized as 'careless treatment' of the workers without any systematic approach of behavioral sciences or the analysis of human errors. In this research, therefore, 137 accident cases occurred during railroad shunting movements and 435 accident cases occurred during driving were analyzed with a special interest of human errors. According to results, the traditional accident investigation scheme used for last several decades did not seem to be appropriate for catching up true accident causes with respect to human errors. In addition, both signal men and locomotive drivers made many mistakes in judgement/action stage while the former mainly commit judgement tasks where as the latter mainly commit cognition tasks. Ant those tasks such as 'confirmation of signal and route', 'location check-up of connected train sets', and 'route identification for a shift of track' ranked highly for accident susceptibility.

철도노선관리에서의 공간 영상콘텐츠 기반의 궤적 모델 생성 (Track Models Generation Based on Spatial Image Contents for Railway Route Management)

  • 3차원 지형 환경의 공간영상콘텐츠는 국토계획 및 통신설비계획, 철도건설, 시공, 입체적인 유비쿼터스 도시 구현, 안전 및 방재 등에서 많은 요구와 그 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있다. 현재 지리정보 기반의 2차원적인 지도정보와 시설정보를 3차원의 도시공간으로 재현하기 위하여 기존의 등고선을 이용한 DEM 방식은 많은 한계를 가지고 있으며, 특히, 철도와 같은 노선 폭이 좁고 길이가 길어서 궤적 관리가 어려운 작은 구조물의 경우에는 그 고도모델이 무시되기 쉬우므로, 레이져 측량기술을 이용한 공간대상물에 대한 높은 정확도 취득이 크게 필요한 실정이다. 최근에는 레이져 측량기술과 GPS를 결합한 고밀도 고정도의 높이 값을 얻을 수 있는 LiDAR 데이터의 이용으로 그러한 한계를 극복하고 있는 추세이다. 비교적 레이져 측량을 우리 실정에 적합한 3차원 지형분석 및 철도시설에 적용하여 데이터의 생성기법기법을 개발하여 3차원 공간에서의 최적의 노선관리가 가능하도록 하였다. 이를 위하여 LiDAR Data를 중심으로 하는 높이 값을 DEM으로 변환하고, 디지털 영상의 매칭 및 정확도 평가 등을 통한 벡터와 래스터의 실시간 통합 및 전환으로 장거리 노선에서의 3차원 철도 모델의 생성을 통한 추적관리가 가능하도록 하였다. 그리하여 공간영상콘텐츠를 이용한 철도시설물 관리에서의 다양한 활용의 해답을 확인하였다.

교통카드 단말기ID Chain OD를 반영한 최적경로탐색 - 수도권 철도 네트워크를 중심으로 - (Optimal Path Finding Considering Smart Card Terminal ID Chain OD - Focused on Seoul Metropolitan Railway Network -)

  • 교통카드자료에서 철도이용승객이동은 단말기ID 순서로 나타난다. 최초 단말기ID는 진입역사 Tag-In노선, 최종 단말기ID는 진출역사 Tag-Out노선, 중간 단말기ID는 환승역사 Tag노선정보를 각각 포함한다. 과거 3개 공사기관(서울교통공사, 인천교통공사, 한국철도공사)만 참여하던 수도권도시철도는 최초 및 최종 단말기ID로 표현된 OD만 존재했다. 최근 (주)신분당선, (주)우이-신설경전철 등 민자기관진입으로 진입환승노선 단말기ID와 진출환승노선 단말기ID가 포함된 Chain OD가 보편화되었다. Chain OD를 통한 정확한 경로구축과정은 수도권철도운송기관의 수입금배분의 기초자료로서 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 따라서 지하철네트워크에서 경로탐색은 Chain OD에 대한 최적경로탐색의 문제로 전환되어 새로운 해법이 요구된다. 본 연구는 철도네트워크에서 단말기 Chain OD의 최초 단말기ID와 최종 단말기ID 간의 최적경로탐색기법을 제안하는 것이다. 이때 Chain OD에 민자노선환승 TagIn/Out를 반영하여 최적경로를 탐색하는 방안을 강구한다. 이를 위해 링크표지로 구축된 3가지 경로탐색기법( 1) 노드 - 링크, 2) 링크 -링크, 3) 링크 -노드 )을 순차적으로 적용하는 방안을 제안한다. 가산성경로비용을 토대로 제안된 기법이 최적조건을 만족함을 증명한다.

도시형자기부상차량의 반능동 조향장치에 대한 연구 (Study for Semi-Steering system for Urban Maglev)

  • Urban maglev should have such characteristics as not only environmentally friendliness and excellent driving capability but also curve negotiation performance because its routes have many sharp curves. Due to normal mechanism of urban maglev its relative displacements of secondary spring are bigger than conventional railway vehicle and the centering force of levitation magnet is smaller than wheel-on-rail system. These features of maglev affect the curving negotiation and so the additional steering device is to be required on Urban maglev to improve the running performance at sharp curve of less than about R50m. Some developed urban maglev had the passive steering device which consists of mechanical linkage or hydraulic cylinder and closed-route piping. But it has drawback as complexity of layout of understructure of vehicle and functional limitation of passive mechanism regarding transient curve. These demerits could be solved by using active steering system. But it has a weak point that an active device should have actuators and additional inverter or hydraulic power source. In this paper, the semi-active steering system for urban maglev is to be introduced.

직류전동차 탑재용 피뢰기의 최적선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Selection of Lightning Arresters for DC Electric Traction Vehicles)

  • In this paper, we proposed a selection and application recommendations of ZnO arresters for DC electric traction vehicles. To decide the Continuous Operating Voltage($U_C$), the Rated Voltage($U_r$), and the Nominal Discharge Current(In), we measured and analyzed system voltages and surge currents flowing the arrester installed on a DC electric traction vehicle under running state. System voltages measured up to 1,800 V in 1,500 V-system, and surge currents were recorded up to 3 times per a running-service-route and their magnitudes were ranges of $150A{\sim}2kA$. From these results and a standard EN50163, we could proposed $U_C$, $U_r$, and In available for the 1,500 VDC electric traction vehicles.

직류전동차용 피뢰기 진단기술 (Diagnostic Techniques of Lightning Arresters for DC Electric Traction Vehicles)

  • This paper dealt with the performance evaluation and the diagnostic techniques of lightning arresters for DC electric traction vehicle. Field Measurements on the protective operation of lightning arresters against surge currents were carried out on running vehicles to acquire the data necessary for the diagnosis. The frequency and the magnitude of surge events were analyzed. Surge currents of $1\sim3$ times were recorded in one running service route and their magnitudes were ranges of $150A\sim2kA$. Also, an acceleration experiment on a lightning arrester by the standard lightning impulse current of 8/20 us and 5 kA was performed to know the aging characteristics. After the surge current application of 3,000 times, the reference voltage decreased by 4.5 %, and the leakage current was below 10 uA at the continuous operating voltage and about 50 uA at the rated voltage. From the experimental results, we propose a decision level of leakage current for the arrester used in this paper and designed an arrester tester which analyzes arrester condition by the magnitude of leakage current.

중련편성 열차를 위한 효율적인 사건기록기 운영방안 (Effective event recorder operation method for multi-coupled trainset)

  • One of the most important targets of transportation is to transport human and commodities to the destination safely. Railway has low risk, compared with land, ocean and flight route and it assures high security as well as high speed driving, since it runs on regular track. However, train accident may result in tragic accident due to small carelessness, so special event recorder is preferably used in order for clarity of responsibility in case of accident, maintenance of signal device and defect analysis. JRU(Juridical Recorder Unit) for ATC/ATS/ATP can be more advanced event recorder. Event recorder of KTX-I which is running now is installed one by one on each leading car and last car, and operation plan of event recorder in case of single trainset is suggested. But regarding train operation of multi-coupled trainset operation such as KTX-II, more detailed study is required for event recorder revitalization and record data process method. Therefore, this research aims at operation plan used in existing event recorder, and suggests effective operation and management plan of event recorder in multi-coupled trainset such as new High Speed Train.

근대 한국에 있어 일본제국에 의한 철도건설과 읍치의 변화에 관한 역사적 연구 (A Historical Study of the Railroad Construction by the Empire of Japan and the change of Eupchi in Modern Korea)

  • This paper analyses the railroad trunk line constructed in the Korea since the end of the 19th century. The analysis consists of the following problematics. 1) The process of the decision of the railroad route 2) The relationship of the location of Eupchi and the stations By clarifying the above, the purpose of this paper is to clarify how the morphology of the city in Korea has been affected by the change in the relationship with Korea and Japan. The Empire of Japan has been reconnoitering the Korea since way before the formal contract for the railroad construction was signed. Therefore, the Empire of Japan had a very good understanding of the actual transportation system when it started the construction of the railroad. The railroad construction was used by the Empire of Japan to empower the control over the Korea. For this reason, the new railroad system was constructed as a different system from the former transportation system and the urban system was also affected. Also the relationship of the western powers and Japan around the turn of the 20th century defined the characteristic of the railway system as a pathway through the Korean peninsular to link Japan to the continent. Moreover, being apprehensive about the friction with the western, Japan located the railway stations to avoid the missionary land properties. This made it clear that the restraint relationship between Japan and the western affected the urban special structure.

철도가 가져온 사회경제적 변화에 관한 정성적 연구 (A Historical Review of Socio-economic Changes of Railroad)

  • 본 논문은 우리나라에서 철도가 가져온 사회경제적 변화에 대해 분석하였다. 우리나라 철도는 1899년 개통된 이후 금년으로 110주년이 되었는데 철도는 그동안 교통뿐만 아니라 국토의 공간구조, 새로운 도시의 형성 등 사회경제적으로 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 대전은 좋은 예의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 철도가 가져온 변화를 구체적인 사례를 통해 통행시간의 변화, 도시발전과 인구변화, 산업의 변화, 문화와 관광의 변화 등을 분석하였다. 향후 이러한 연구는 다른나라와의 비교연구를 통해 철도가 가진 보편적인 기능과 한국철도의 독특성을 파악하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

A Study on the Applicability of the Conventional TTX Propulsion System on the High-speed Propulsion System for a Deep-underground GTX

  • In order to develop the deep-underground GTX (Great Train eXpress) in domestic, the running performance analysis of the propulsion system by a variety of route condition must be carried out before studying the specification and the development of the high-speed propulsion system with inverter and traction motor. Then it is necessary to study the running resistance properties of the high-speed traction system for the variety of tunnel type and vehicle organization method at first. In addition, the properties of the power requirement of the traction motors needed to maintain the balanced speed of the high-speed traction system are next studied. We need to study properties of the emergency braking distance caused by the highest operation speed of the high-speed traction system and present the fundamental design technologies to develop the high-speed traction system for the deep-underground GTX. Finally, the paper analyzes the applicability of the conventional Korean Tilting Train eXpress (TTX) propulsion system on the high-speed propulsion system for the deep-underground GTX.
