최소차량운용문제에 대한 실용적 해법 (A pragmatic algorithm for the Minimum Railway Stock Maintenance Routing Problem)

  • Given a schedule of train to be routed by a Railway Stock, Railway Stock Routing Problem determine a sequence of train while satisfying turnaround time and maintenance restrictions. The objective is to minimize the Railway Stock during a week and each day simultaneously. And we prove that Railway Stock Routing Problem with maintenance restrictions is NP-hard. In this paper, we present two stage approaches that solve the Railway Stock Routing Problem in a reasonable time. In first stage we relax maintenance restrictions and formulate as a Min-cost-flow problem. Then, in the second stage, we attempt to satisfy maintenance restrictions using ours heuristic algorithm. We show the computational result of applying to an actual train schedule data.

  • Currently, in the course of introducing rolling stocks, RAMS standard and management by system engineering method apply to rolling stock system. Technical elements and results applied in system introduction phase are just used in acquisition stage, and these are not applied to the standard in railway site. Therefore, it is difficult to apply to standardized technology and quality assurance measure. Due to the establishment of the EU, railway operation system is internationalized and the international railway standards are being discussed in various ways. In addition, standardization is expanded from manufacture to operation and maintenance. It is to provide consistent standard in quality, cost calculation of maintenance technology, maintenance technology and quality assurance in case of international railway safety incidents. Therefore, this study is to find technology, quality and cost management model to be used for choosing railway-operation guidance by considering how technologies & quality have changed in system life cycle, compared with estimated standards, based on the technologies & quality-related result in the process of getting new rolling stocks and management guidance for operation & maintenance process.

고속철도 궤도유지보수 일정계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Track Maintenance Scheduling of High-Speed Railway)

  • The track of high-speed railway get deteriorated according as using it. In that case, the maintenance jobs are needed for improvement of track quality. A scheduling problem for the track maintenance of high-speed railway is to determine the jobs should be performed daily. In the problem, the set of jobs for maintenance is given. Each job has it's parameters such as due date, emergency level, and processing time. In addition, jobs can be worked during a certain fixed time when the train doesn't move. In this study, we developed a mathematical model of the scheduling problem for the maintenance of high-speed railway and solved the problem using the ILOG CPLEX library.

전기철도 가공전차선로의 신뢰성 기반 유지보수(RCM)에 관한 연구 (A Study on RCM Approach to Catenary System of Electric Railway)

  • A RCM approach to maintenance of the catenary system of electric railway is proposed. The proposed RCM approach provides a maintenance-oriented FMECA procedure to derive critical failure modes by analyzing failure effects and a RCM decision logic tree to suggest optimal maintenance works for the derived failure modes. By applying the proposed RCM procedures to the catenary system of high speed railway, it is suggested that strand breaks of dropper and voltage equalizing wire, and trolly wire wear-out are the critical failure modes for whom maintenance works based on condition monitoring should be applied instead of conventional time-based preventive maintenance. It is also proposed by reliability analysis that replacement time of dropper can be reduced from 18 years to 10 years. These results show that the proposed RCM approach can optimize the maintenance procedures of catenary system.

  • 기존의 철도교량 유지관리체계는 주로 정보누락, 문서위주 관리 및 유선기반의 정보수집 등으로 인하여 다양한 현장의 환경변화에 실시간 대응이 곤란하여 능동적인 철도교량 유지관리 전략 수립에 제약을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 기반의 철도교량 유지관리 정보운용체계 구축을 위한 실무 활용모형과 건설 생애주기의 통합 정보관리체계인 BIM (Building Information Modeling) 개념을 적용하여 유지관리 통합 운용모형을 제안하고 있다. 이의 개발 및 실무적 적용의 타당성 확보를 위해 설문분석에 의한 정량적 평가를 수행하였다. 최근 철도교량의 지능형 유지관리 운영체계가 확대될 것을 고려하면, 본 연구의 제안사항은 운영체계 구축을 위한 통합 프레임워크로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 최근 신뢰성을 기반으로 한 기법을 철도차량 유지관리에 도입, 적용하기 위해 많은 계획을 세우고 정착시키려는 업무가 진행되고 있으나 시간 및 비용대비 성과에 대해 기술적인 향상이 필요하다. 신뢰성기반의 유지관리 활동은 군수분야에서 시작하여 원자력, 항공 분야 등에서 가장 활발히 추진중이지만 국내철도 현장에도 접목하려는 연구를 본 논문에서 제시하였다. 철도 운영기관에서 신뢰성관련 업무를 도입하거나 적용하기 위해서는 우선 내부의 유지관리 환경을 검토할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 검토결과를 기반으로 각종 신뢰성 기법들을 철도현장에 맞게 적용하고, 특화된 신뢰성프로세스의 정립과 주요 대상 시스템을 선정하여 RCM (Reliability Centered Mainteinance)기법을 적용하여 적정성을 검토하였다. 그 결과 철도차량 유지관리를 보다 체계적이고 합리적인 방법으로 시행하기 위한 절차를 제시하였다.

  • Present maintenance of a high speed railway is after the fack maintenance that executes a task when measured value goes over threshold value except some planned maintenance. It is difficult from efficient management of maintenance human resource and equipment commitment because it is difficult to predict quantity of maintenance targets. Corrective maintenance is pushed back on the repair priority of other target to need repair and it is exceeded repair cost potentially. For safety and dependable track management because track deterioration prediction is linked directly with track's life and safety of train service, it is very important that track management be based on preventive maintenance. In this study, we propose statistics model of track quality to use track inspection data and forecast model for track deterioration prediction.

  • Seoul Metro railway facilities' inspection and maintenance tasks cause failure analysis, but if there is trouble the diverse cause investigation and the systematic analysis and management among broken facilities, related facilities and components fell short and the conditions are different. And, excess and insufficiency, under inspection and maintenance, is being raised regardless of the introduction year and the operating environment including the number of use by applying the same facilities in the uniform inspection cycle. In this study, we will analysis systematically facility system information, failures, operational status, performance, fault and maintenance information resulting from the maintenance management of railway facilities and derive the relationship between associated equipment and its components. In addition, optimizing the inspection and the maintenance cycles of railway facilities, we will improve the reliability of operation. Considering the probability of risk, it is possible to predict the occurrence of accidents or faults and to minimize the frequency of breakdown by pre-inspection maintenance. Finally, This paper is to introduce the content of constructing the Seoul Metro RCM-based failure analysis system for railway facilities to support the optimal continuance of operation status of equipments and the securement of the safe operation of vehicles.

  • The surface of railway wheel tread in wheel-rail system can not be free from wear because of various circumstance such as railway condition, maintenance condition, weather condition, characteristics of wheel surface's geometrical shape, and vehicle suspension's structural characteristics etc. Therefore, the research on wear reduction and maintenance method are very important to ensure the safety of railway vehicle, to improve car comfort and to decrease maintenance cost. In this study, the wear rates of railway wheel have been periodically measured in terms of the running distance of Electrical Multiple Unit which have been currently operated and the microstructure transformation of wheel tread using replication method have been performed. The results show that the relations between the flange wear and tread microstructure are depended on running distance and it will supply basic data on wheel maintenance.
