한전 765 kV 2회선 송전선로의 전기환경장애 특성 (Environmental Impact on the KEPCO 765-kV Double Circuit Transmission Line)

  • The environmental impact of the KEPCO 765-kV transmission line was studied using a full scale test line in order to develop the design technology. Therefore this paper describes an environmental design summary of the audible noise, hum noise, wind noise, radio interference, TV interference and electric field measurement from the KEPRI 765-kV double circuit transmission test line with a bundle of $6-480mm^2$ conductors per phase. The analysis of the test results shows that 6-Rail and 6-Cardinal conductors bundle satisfy the audible noise criterion & TV interference under the stable rainy weather condition and the radio interference level under the fair weather. And the other items are also agreed with the design level criterion for KEPCO 765-kV transmission line.

구부러진 전송선에서 비아 홀 펜스에 의한 누화 감소 해석 (Analysis of Crosstalk Reduction by Metal Filled Via Hole Fence in Bent Transmission Lines)

  • 다중 전송선들로 회로를 구성할 경우 필요에 의해 중간 부분이 구부러진 형태를 갖기도 하는데, 이때의 누화는 금속으로 채워진 비아 홀 펜스를 전송선 사이에 위치시킴으로써 감소시킬 수 있다. 이러한 효과를 해석하기 위하여 비아 홀 펜스를 포함한 다중 전송선을 구간별로 나누고, 전송선 구간을 위한 회로 개념 접근법과 비아흘 구간을 위한 임피던스 모델링을 이용하고, 각 구간을 ABCD 행렬로 나타내어 직렬 연결하는 방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 이 방법에 의한 최종 계산 결과가 일부 저주파 대역을 제외하고 대략 3 dB 이내의 범위로 측정 결과와 일치함을 확인하였다.

Two-Tier Interference Elimination for Femtocells Based on Cognitive Radio Centralized Spectrum Management

  • Femtocell provides better coverage and higher spectrum efficiency in areas rarely covered by macrocells. However, serious two-tier interference emerging from randomly deploying femtocells may create dead zones where the service is unavailable for macro-users. In this paper, we present adopting cognitive radio spectrum overlay to avoid intra-tier interference and incorporating spectrum underlay and overlay to coordinate cross-tier interference. It is a novel centralized control strategy appropriate for both uplink and downlink transmission. We introduce the application of proper spectrum sharing strategy plus optimal power allocation to address the issue of OFDM-based femtocells interference-limited downlink transmission, along with, a low-complexity suboptimal solution proposed. Simulation results illustrate the proposed optimal scheme achieves the highest transmission rate on successfully avoiding two-tier interference, and outperforms the traditional spectrum underlay or spectrum overlay, via maximizing the opportunity to transmit. Moreover, the strength of our proposed schemes is further demonstrated by comparison with previous classic power allocation methods, in terms of transmission rate, computational complexity and signal peak-to-average power ratio.

PSNR Enhancement in Image Streaming over Cognitive Radio Sensor Networks

  • Several studies have focused on multimedia transmission over wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, we propose a comprehensive and robust model to transmit images over cognitive radio WSNs (CRWSNs). We estimate the spectrum sensing frequency and evaluate its impact on the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). To enhance the PSNR, we attempt to maximize the number of pixels delivered to the receiver. To increase the probability of successful image transmission within the maximum allowed time, we minimize the average number of packets remaining in the send buffer. We use both single- and multi-channel transmissions by focusing on critical transmission events, namely hand-off (HO), No-HO, and timeout events. We deploy our advanced updating method, the dynamic parameter updating procedure, to guarantee the dynamic adaptation of model parameters to the events. In addition, we introduce our ranking method, named minimum remaining packet best channel selection, to enable us to rank and select the best channel to improve the system performance. Finally, we show the capability of our proposed image scrambling and filtering approach to achieve noticeable PSNR improvement.

새로운 초고압 송전선로 친환경설계프로그램 TLCALC (A New Environmentally Friendly Design Program TLCALC for High Voltage AC Transmission Lines)

  • HVAC transmission lines must be designed to satisfy environmental regulations. Therefore it is necessary to pre-evaluate environmental problems for transmission line designer using prediction program. In this study, environmental design software, TLCALC(Transmission Line CALCulation) for transmission lines was developed as a comprehensive window program. It has 6 modules that are audible noise, radio noise, television noise, magnetic field, electric field and conductor surface gradient. TLCALC solved a few problems in use of the existing foreign tools and took several advantages as follows; (1) It is a common tool that solves calculating limitations of foreign formulas, (2) It has wide application ranges and enhances accuracy of prediction. (3) It can be applied to almost transmission line configurations in Korea. (4) Experienced designers can get the results of calculation within about 15 minutes. Because the use of TLCALC is easy and practical, this program will be usefully applied to the environmental friendly design and construction of transmission lines. In the future, it is expected that public complaints and social environmental cost will be reduced by the use of TLCALC.

  • 본 논문에서는 LCD(Lρst Call Delayed)시스템에 적용할 수 있는 대시식 완전선군의 무한입선모델(M/M/ S모델)과 Erlang-C분포식을 이용하여 Trunked Land Mobile Radio System의 성능분석방법을 제시하였다. 일반적으로 TRS(Trunked Radio System)라고 얄려져 았는 본 시스템의 성능을 분석하기 위해 대시식 완전선군의 무한 입선모텔로 모델링하여 사스템의 채널수, 트래픽량, 단말기당 평균사용시간과 염의의 호가 t초 이상 지연될 확률과의 관계식을 도출하였고 이를 이용하여 호의 지연시간변 시스템 채널수, 트래픽량, 지연확률과의 관계를 시뮬레이션하였다. 또한 시스템의 trunking방식을 통화(message) 및 송선( transmission)방식으로 구분 하여 방식별 성능을 정량적으로 비교분석한 결과 송선 trunking방식의 성능이 우수함을 확인하였다 결국 본 논 문의 목적은 TRS서비스 이용사의 품질을 고려한 TRS통신망의 용량설계방안을 제시하는 데 있다.

3 T 자기공명영상시스템에서의 마이크로스트립을 이용한 다양한 RF 공진기 (RF Resonators Using Microstrip Transmission Line at 3 T MRI)

  • This paper demonstrates four different radio frequency (RF) resonators at 3 T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system. An approach based on microstrip transmission line to identical RF resonators except upper stripline structure is investigated. Electromagnetic simulation results are compared for RF resonators and discussed in detail at 3 T.

  • Communication Based Train Control System supports the easy maintenance & management and also have the capability to send more informations than the existing one but is less expensive. Tolerance against fault/failure and reliable data transmission are very important issues with this system since it has the responsibility of man's safety. In this paper, we suggested the schemes to support the reliable transmission quality and fault safety. Also we verified through simulation.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented bio-signals transmission and storage system using wireless sensor network based on ZigBee. Wireless sensor network is organized with routing protocol based on tree structure. The data is transmitted to monitoring system based on SIP. ZigBee will be used as various combinations with other wireless network technologies for application purposes.

  • 본 논문은 피부를 포함하는 유방 모델에서 정합 액체의 전파 특성에 관한 연구 내용이다. 정합 액체의 분석을 위해 6개 타입의 정합 액체를 제안된 1-D 유방 모델에 적용하여 3~6 GHz의 주파수 대역에서 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 균일한 평면파가 1-D 유방 모델 내부의 복합 매질의 경계면에 입사되어 반사/투과되어 나타나는 전파 특성과 각 정합 액체의 전송 선로 손실을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 연구한 방법은 유방암 진단 시스템, 인체 조직을 이용한 암 진단 분야 및 기타 의료기기 분야에 활용될 수 있으며, 본 논문에서는 유방암 진단 시스템에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 향후 유방암 진단 시스템에 적용될 적절한 정합 액체를 선정하고, 성능을 분석하는데 유용하게 적용될 수 있다.
