The theory of 4 great doctors in Geum Won era has been considered as a most scientific medicine after SangHanRon of Jang, Jung Kyung. And it influence for all the later medical theory and practice. I have found a common points between their Fire and Fever pathology and constitutional pathology of Li, Je Ma. The results obtained are as follows. 1. On the Viewpoint of medical history, there is common points in the fact that the start of Geum Won 4 great doctor' principle had been drived from awakening of the abuse of warm and hot herbs based on Hwa Je Guk Bang in the last stage of Song dynasty, and that the appearance of Sa Sang medicine was from the scientific reflection against the currency of the animation by warm herbs which was popular in the Jo Sun dynasty. 2. The theory of Fire and Fever pathology of 4 great doctors has been fixed in the principle of Cold and Fever pathology of viscera and bowel in the Sa Sang medicine. 3. The pathological meaning of 'internal fire' in the conculusion by 4 great doctors has got scientific fruit by Sa Sang medicine in its theory of four constitutional psychology and the formation of four visceras. 4. It is considered that the study of DongUiSuSeBoWon is needed for the relation with former medical theories.

In this work, N-LDMOSFET(Lateral Double diffused MOSFET) was designed and fabricated on SOI(Silicon-On-Insulator) substrate, for such applications as motor controllers and high voltage switches, fuel injection controller systems in automobile and SSR(Solid State Rexay)etc. The LDMOSFET was designed to overcome the floating body effects that appear in the conventional thick SOI MOS structure by adding p+ region in source region. Also, RESURF(Reduced SURface Field) structure was proposed in this work in order to reduce a large on-resistance of LDMOSFET when operated keeping high break down voltage. Breakdown voltage was 268v in off-state ($V_{GS}$=OV) at room temperature in $22{\mu}m$ drift length LDMOSFET. When 5V of $V_{GS}$ and 30V of $V_{DS}$ applied, the on resistance(Ron), the transcon ductance($G_m$) and the threshold voltage($V_T$) was 1.76k$\Omega$, 79.7uA/V and 1.85V respectively.

Sprites, elves and blue jets are collectively denominated as the upper atmospheric transient luminous events (TLEs). They are recently discovered optical flashes between active thunderstorms and the ionosphere. In this report, a brief introduction to the most important characteristics of TLEs is given. Since 2001, scientists from the National Cheng Kung University have been performing yearly summer campaigns from various locations in Taiwan. The main achievements of their yearly campaign are presented.

A peritoneal loose body is reported to develop because of torsion and separation of the epiploic appendages. The condition is usually symptomless and may be incidentally during abdominal surgery or autopsy. It usually occurs in middle-aged and elderly adults and is very rare in children. In this paper, we report a case of a peritoneal loose body in the pelvic cavity of a 10-year old-girl who presented with urinary frequency and left lower abdominal discomfort. A second plain X-ray film of the abdomen, obtained before surgery, in a different view than the first, revealed that the calcified mass had migrated to a lower position. The mass was laparoscopically resected, and histological examination revealed it to be a fibrotic nodule with central liquefaction and calcification.

I studied some important medical liter atures in order to examine the cause of Aphasia and found out some facts as follows : 1. Hwang Je Nae Kgong(黃帝內經) is more referred exogenous causes of disease of Aphasia than endogenous causes of disease. 2. Among many causes of Aphasia, exogenous causes of disease was cinsidered to be most common in Soh Shi Je Byong Won Hu chong Rhon(巢氏諸病源喉總論), which has had a wide influence down the ages. 3. Chon Keum Yo Bang(千金要方), Chi Tae Bhi Yo(外臺秘要), Tae Pyong Song Hye Bang(太平聖惠方), Song Je Chong Rok(聖濟總綠). Bu In Yang Bang(婦人良方) and so forth had been quoted from Hwang Je Nae Kyong and Soh Shi Je Byong Won Hu Chong Ron(巢氏諸病源喉總論). 4. In the ming dynasty had been quoted non-exo-endogenous causes of disease and the Kinds of Aphasia and prescription. 5. In the Choeun dynasty and the Ching dynasty, exogenous causes of disease was confined to the quotation of the books referred to above as well, but endogenous causes of disease was developed. 6. Today is refered kidney and Aphasia. The cause of Aphasia obtained was as follows. The exogenous cause of disease is wind, wind and cold, wind and heat. The endogenous cause of disease is pregnancy, heart block of postpartum, weakness of heart and kidney, impairment of seven modes of emotions, stagnation of phlegm and phlegm-fire, hemorrhage. The non exo-endogenous causes of disease is sing ballads and call out.

In the field of the theory about constitution(體質), the theory of 'Yun Qi(運氣) has close relations hip with the formation of theory of constitution. It is seen in the chapter 'Osangjungdae-ron("五常政大論")' that the theory of influenced the theory of constitution and talent by the 'Concept of Evaporation(氣化)'. In the chapter 'Yin-Yang twenty five men types' of the book the 'Ling Shu("靈樞")' the twenty five constitution types by the theory of 'Yan Qi is stated. And in the book 'Nei Ching("內經")' the constitution types of five elements' motion is described. In the theory of the 'five elements' motion and six kinds of natural factors' had such a problem that the individuals having the same born year and Qi had the same prescriptions irrespective of each other's constitution. So for the resolution of this problem the constitution theory of 'Yun Qi' had been formed by the mediation of the 'MyengRiHak(命理學)' and the theory of 'Yun Qi' in the book the 'OUnYukKiHanYeHakBoGam("五運六氣韓醫學寶鑑")'. But following problems should be resolved in chrono-inedieine. Those are the difference of men who has born in some year-day-time, each 'Yun Qi's brea king point, local time, summer time, living circumstances, twins, the concept of 'Zhung Won(中元)', etc.

Ascophyllum nodosum (L.) Le Jolis has a systemic infection with the ascomycete Mycophycias ascophylli (Cotton) Kohlmeyer and Volkmann-Kohlmeyer with which it establishese a mutualistic symbiosis. In addition, A. nodosum is the host for the obligate red algal epiphyte, Vertebrata lanosa (L.) Christensen. Using light and electron microscopy we describe morphological and cytochemical changes occurring as a consequence of rhizoid penetration of V. lanosa into cortical host tissue. Rhizoids induce localized cell necrosis based on physical damage during rhizoid penetration. Host cells adjacent to the rhizoid selectively undergo a hypersensitive reaction in which they become darkly pigmented and become foci for hyphal development. Light and electron microscopy show that M. ascophylli forms dense hyphal aggregations on the surface of the V. lanosa rhizoid and extensive endophytic hyphal growths in the rhizoid wall. This is the first morphological evidence of an interaction between M. ascophylli and V. lanosa. We speculate that M. ascophylli may be interacting with V. lanosa to limit tissue damage to their shared host. In addition, the fungus provides a potential pathway for the transfer of materials (e.g., nutrients and photosynthate) between the two phototrophs.

The HCCI engines have been known with high efficiency and low pollution and can be actualized as the new internal combustion engines. However, As for(??) the ignition and combustion depend strongly on the oxidation reaction of the fuel, so it is difficult to control auto-ignition timing and combustion duration. Purpose of this paper is creating the database for development of multi-dimensional simulation and investigating the influence of different molecular structure. In this research, the effect of n-heptane mole ratio in fuel (XnH) on the ignition delay from homogeneous charge compression ignition(HCCI) has been investigated experimentally. By varying the XnH, it was possible to ascertain whether or not XnH is the main resource of ignition delay. Additionally, the information on equivalence ratio for varying XnH was obtained. The tests were performed on a RCM (Rapid Compression Machine) fueled with n-heptane and iso-octane. The results showed that decreasing XnH (100, 30, 20, 10,0), the ignition delays of low temperature reaction (tL) and high temperature reaction (tH) is longer. And the temperature of reaction increases by about 30K. n-heptane partial equivalence ratio (fnH) affect on tL.and TL. When ${\phi}$nH was increased as a certain value, tL was decreased and TL was increased.

Purpose : The study was aimed to evaluate the improvement of cognitive and hand functions after the application of a complex rehabilitation intervention program on patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia who were living a regional community from. Methods : Subjects who were living in a regional sanatorium or who were outpatients of a community health center were enrolled from 2012. 2 to 2013.2 All subjects were enforced 8 cycles of a complex rehabilitation intervention program including RON dance, physical activity using therabands, reality awareness training, space retrieval training and handicraft activities. Results : There were significant improvement in LOTCA-G cognitive function and JTHFT hand function test after the application of a complex rehabilitation intervention program. Conclusion : The result shows a significant improvement in cognitive and hand functions after the application of a complex rehabilitation intervention program in patients with MCI and dementia. Therefore the authors suggest the vast studies of the cognitive function program development and hand function vitalization by the application of a complex rehabilitation intervention program.

This paper presents a summary of the state of the practice for Performance Based Seismic Design (PBSD) in the United States. While it is not included in the prescriptive provisions of the United States' building codes, the PBSD procedure has been successfully implemented for two decades. The recent publication of the Guidelines for Performance-Based Seismic Design of Tall Buildings by the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) illustrates the fact that the engineering community has embraced this procedure and provides a thoughtful set of recommendations to building designers who intend to implement PBSD. The key parameters currently required for a PBSD also are outlined, such as seismic hazard definition, modeling procedures, and acceptance criteria. These Guidelines will serve as the basis for many PBSD projects in the coming years and as such are a common reference used throughout this paper. Finally, a brief summation of recent PBSD projects in the United States is presented.
