Bright rims are one of the most unknown part of a filament nowadays. Many models tried to explain the environments, but there is no commonly acceptable model. Many survey observations have been performed to find various characteristics of the bright rim statistically, but there was only one spectroscopic observation to understand phenomena of the bright rim. We observed a bright rim on June 25, 2010 using FISS installed in NST, Big Bear Solar observatory. FISS can obtain a couple of wavebands data simultaneously with short time cadence and fine resolution(~ 0.1", expected) with Adaptive Optics. By applying the cloud model, we found source function, optical thickness, temperature and non-thermal velocity of the region from the spectra of Ha and CaII 8542 lines. We discuss the physical implication of these measurements on the nature of bright rims of filaments.

In this study, we introduce a dual-band ground radiation antenna using an endless metal-rim mode control method that operates in the WLAN band. In the proposed antenna, the metal-rim modes are excited as one- and two-wavelength-mode radiators by a dual-band ground radiation antenna, which occupies a small space on the ground plane. The metal rim surrounds the ground plane with a gap of only 2 mm. In addition, two capacitors are inserted between the ground plane and the endless metal rim to control the one- and two-wavelength modes of the endless metal rim. Based on simulation and measurement results, we noted that the proposed antenna has an impressively high radiation performance.

This paper was written to investigate the narrative traits of Lee Ae-rim's Comic Books. Lee Ae-rim arrived on the scene with the boom of comic book magazines in the 1990s. Although she started her career as a Comic Book writer, she expanded her own area gradually and has been working actively as an animation director as well. The superficial characteristics of Lee Ae-rim's works can be summed up as sexuality, grotesqueness, and fantasy. In other words, Lee Ae-rim's comic books are mainly characterized by the visualization of sexual, grotesque, and fantastic shapes. Lee Ae-rim has faced challenges with her own overwhelming and compelling images like no one else. For that reason, it is true that people haven't paid careful attention to the hidden stories behind her pictures. This paper considers that looking back on the narratives that Lee Ae-rim has been interested in, from early days to recent days, that is to say, the contexts of stories, is a shortcut to reveal a point of contact between her past, present, and future. Especially, this paper focused on the properties of the circulated and repeated stories, the stories ruled by fate and coincidence, and the stories in which elements of fantasy encounter an attempt of violation. As a result, it was found that the narratives of Lee Ae-rim's comic books demand us to face suppressed desires in a new way, by wrapping up the most fundamental aspects of human being in universality and constancy with specificity and grotesqueness. The reason why Lee Ae-rim has continued the avant-garde and omnidirectional works thus far explains what our society suppresses, inversely. Moreover, the narratives of Lee Ae-rim are significant, by being devoted to the right function of art not only to disclose suppressed desires but to satisfy them. Making an in-depth investigation of the narratives of Lee Ae-rim's comic books in various contexts, this research is intended to establish a diversity of Korean comic books, by adding meaning to the creative values of individual writers.

Objectives : Investigate the situation of Joseon Dynasty's Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Methods : the Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods in UiRimCh'walYo (${\ulcorner}$醫林撮要$\lrcorner$ 'Essentials of Oriental Medical Doctors') were studied. Results and Conclusions : First of all, the Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods in UiRimCh'walYo are narrated according to specific symptoms like diarrhea and stomachache, and not organized by the origin of illness or some abstract nature of a disease. In addition, it excluded complicated Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods, only adopting a couple of Acupuncture Bleeding methods and Moxibustion methods to simplify the technique as much as possible. Secondly, the Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods in UiRimCh'walYo, along with those in DongUiBoCam and Ch'imGuYoGyol introduce ways to perform moxibustion on the Umbilical Middle and Elixir Field. By focusing on the similarities between the three comtemporary medical works, it is possible to assume the existence of a unique acupuncture method using moxibustion on the Umbilical Middle and Elixir Field. Thirdly, the Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods in UiRimCh'walYo didn't go into detailed differentiation of symptoms and just concisely described one or two treatment methods for each symptom and simplified the prescription down to the core acupuncture points. This shows that the Acupuncture and Moxibustion methods in UiRimCh'walYo didn't seek its own cure but was edited in order to act as an appendix to Herbal Medicine. When integrating the conclusions above, it can be said that UiRimCh'walYo strived to use acupuncture and moxibustion simply and effectively inside the Oriental medicine's large boundaries of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Harmony with Herbal Medicine, an easy-to-find organization, and simple, easy-to-do prescription are what UiRimCh'walYo was about.
