Functional Design of Manufacturing Quote Services for Collaboration between Designer and Manufacturer (설계와 제조간 협업을 위한 제조견적서비스의 기능설계)

  • The increasing dynamic and distributed nature of a business and manufacturing environment makes it hard to collaborate between design and manufacturing parties. The seamless collaboration necessitates a manufacturing quote service (MQS) that delivers manufacturing quotes timely for designer's requests. After envisioning a SOA-inherited collaboration framework, the paper details MQS' functionalities, and syntax and semantics of collaboration messages (i.e., RFQ and manufacturing quote). The MQS is implemented as a Web Service so as to be accessible by designers. For each RFQ, the MQS adaptively generates a responding manufacturing quote by using the DPM library and real-time shop status information. The paper also presents an evolution process that shows the whole process of RQF generation from given product design data. The proposed framework enabled partners to exchange engineering data rapidly and adaptively during the dynamic collaboration, and also increased the benefits of distributed and global production.

  • 한국 원자력 연구소는 PEFP(Proton Enginnering Frontier Poject)라고 하는 프로젝트를 수행 중이며, PEFP는 고에너지 양성자 가속기에 대한 프로젝트이다. 양성자 가속기에 대한 제어 시스템은 안정적인 운전 제어를 위해서 장치의 상태를 주기적으로 모니터링 할 뿐만 아니라 장치상태를 저장하여 일정시간 후에 확인이 요구되면 저장된 데이터를 이용하여 이전 정보를 추적할 수 있어야한다. 따라서 양성자 가속기 제어시스템에서는 실시간으로 들어오는 진공 데이터 정보를 저장 및 저장된 데이터를 열람이 가능한 저장 시스템으로 구성하였다. 저장된 데이터들은 RFQ(Radio Frequency Quadrupole) Cryopump, Turbo Pump, Press Gauge, Gate Valve, Compressor와 DTL(Drift Tube Linac) Multi-Gauge, Turbo Pump등의 진공도 및 제어변수 등이 있다. 이들 각각의 진공장치로부터 전달되는 진공 데이터들을 저장하기 위해 EPICS Extension toolset중에서 저장하는 기능을 가진 Channel Archiver를 양성자 가속기 제어 시스템에 추가하였다

  • KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has been performing the project named PEFP (proton engineering frontier project). PEFP has been performing the project of a high power proton accelerator. Control system for 20 MeV proton accelerating structure has developed. We use the EPICS(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) tool kit as a foundation of the control system. EPICS is adopted for control systems which have OPI(OPerator Interface) and IOqlnput Output Controller). We have performed the PEPF control system on SUN workstation host computer. In this paper, we present the vacuum monitor, RFQ, and DTL Turbo pump control system.

  • Today's competitive global market makes most enterprise endeavor to specialize their business areas, and co-operate with trading partners in supply chain by the forms of collaboration, information and business process sharing. However, even the supply chain plan generated by co-operation often fails to be executed successfully, because it was generated without capacities of suppliers and more over nested suppliers. To overcome this limitation, the supply chain plan of an enterprise should be generated truly integrated way. In this paper, we classify business patterns based on scenarios about quotation processing and supply chain planning in self-integrated environment. And we present business process models about four business patterns and describe them, which are classified by whether request for quotation includes information about price, required time periods, and quantity for each required time period and whether it is received from customer or sent to supplier. In addition, we describe the types of supply chain planning problem.

  • The KOMAC(KOrea Multi-purpose Accelerator Complex) linac is composed of RFQ(Radio Frequency Quadrupole), CCDTL(Coupled Cavity Drift Tube Linac) and SC(Superconducting)-linac. The required CW output power of RF system is about 25㎿ for 20㎿ proton beam power. Therefore high power RF sources are necessary for cost saving and reliability improvement. The number of klystrons for 0.5 ㎿ at 350MHz and 1 ㎿ at 700MHz are 1 and 31, respectively. In this paper, the design parameters of the klystron system including power supply and energy recovery system are presented.

  • Price quotations for SOR / RFQ from OEM clients is a very important process in the automotive parts industry. However, OEM clients are demanding a price quote on short duration but it takes long delivery time due to sales, research and development, purchasing, production and cost management departments role and jobs focused on detail and responsibility. And to provide a reasonable alternative with eliminating the waste of non-value processes is to achieve OEM clients satisfaction through standardized and parallel processing, IT system based on the systems and processes of global benchmark companies.
