RC6 which has different algorithm of encryption and decryption has been proposed to have the same algorithm between encryption and decryption through inserting symmetry layer using simple rotate and logical operation. That means the half of whole RC6 round uses encryption algorithm and the rest of it uses decryption one and symmetry layer has been put into the middle of encryption and decryption. The proposed RC6 algorithm has no difference with the original one in the speed of process. However it is quite safe because by inserting symmetry layer the path of high probability which is needed for differential and linear analysis is cut off so that it is hard to be analyzed. The proposed symmetry layer algorithm can be easily applied to the algorithm which has different encryption and decryption and make it same, and it can be good idea to be used to design a new block cipher algorithm.

The separation and purification of 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene (2,6-DMN) present in the light cycle oil (LCO) fraction was investigated by a crystallization operation. Solute crystallization (SC) was performed using LCO fraction and iso-propyl alcohol as a raw material and a SC solvent, respectively. Increasing the operation temperature and volume ratio of the solvent to the raw material (S/F) resulted in improving the purity of 2,6-DMN, whereas the yield decreased. As a result of the crystallization operation in three steps containing the SC using LCO fraction (13.9% 2,6-DMN) and isopropyl alcohol, the re-crystallization 1 (RC 1) using the crystals recovered by SC and methyl acetate, and RC 2 using the crystals recovered by RC 1 and methyl acetate, the crystal with 99.9% 2,6-DMN was recovered with 19.5% yield. Furthermore, the separation and purification process of 2,6-DMN present in the LCO fraction was reevaluated by using the experimental results obtained through each operations of SC, RC 1, and RC 2.
Background: Hepatic lipid disorder impaired mitochondrial homeostasis and intracellular redox balance, triggering development of non-alcohol fatty liver disease (NAFLD), while effective therapeutic approach remains inadequate. Ginsenosides Rc has been reported to maintain glucose balance in adipose tissue, while its role in regulating lipid metabolism remain vacant. Thus, we investigated the function and mechanism of ginsenosides Rc in defending high fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD. Methods: Mice primary hepatocytes (MPHs) challenged with oleic acid & palmitic acid were used to test the effects of ginsenosides Rc on intracellular lipid metabolism. RNAseq and molecular docking study were performed to explore potential targets of ginsenosides Rc in defending lipid deposition. Wild type and liver specific sirtuin 6 (SIRT6, 50721) deficient mice on HFD for 12 weeks were subjected to different dose of ginsenosides Rc to determine the function and detailed mechanism in vivo. Results: We identified ginsenosides Rc as a novel SIRT6 activator via increasing its expression and deacetylase activity. Ginsenosides Rc defends OA&PA-induced lipid deposition in MPHs and protects mice against HFD-induced metabolic disorder in dosage dependent manner. Ginsenosides Rc (20mg/kg) injection improved glucose intolerance, insulin resistance, oxidative stress and inflammation response in HFD mice. Ginsenosides Rc treatment accelerates peroxisome proliferator activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α, 19013)-mediated fatty acid oxidation in vivo and in vitro. Hepatic specific SIRT6 deletion abolished ginsenoside Rc-derived protective effects against HFD-induced NAFLD. Conclusion: Ginsenosides Rc protects mice against HFD-induced hepatosteatosis by improving PPAR-α-mediated fatty acid oxidation and antioxidant capacity in a SIRT6 dependent manner, and providing a promising strategy for NAFLD.
The use of composite materials to strengthen reinforced concrete (RC) structures against blast terror has great interests from engineering experts in structural retrofitting. The composite materials used in this study are rigid polyurethane foam (RPF) and aluminum foam (ALF). The aim of this study is to use the RPF and the ALF to strengthen the RC panels under blast load. The RC panel is considered to study the RPF and the ALF as structural retrofitting. Field blast test is conducted. The finite element analysis (FEA) is also used to model the RC panel under shock wave. The RC panel performance is studied based on detonating different TNT explosive charges. There is a good agreement between the results obtained by both the field blast test and the proposed numerical model. The composite materials improve the RC panel performance under the blast wave propagation.

In this paper a high speed architecture of the RC4 stream cipher is proposed and its FPGA implementation is presented. Compared to the conventional RC4 designs which have long initialization operation or use double or triple S-arrays to reduce latency delay due to S-array initialization phase, the proposed architecture for RC4 stream cipher eliminates the S-array initialization operation using 256-bit valid entry scheme and supports 40/128-bit key lengths with efficient modular arithmetic hardware. The proposed RC4 stream cipher is implemented using Xilinx XCV1000E-6H240C FPGA device. The designed RC4 stream cipher has about a throughput of 106 Mbits/sec at 40 MHz clock and thus can be applicable to WEP processor and RC4 key search processor.
Objectives: The purpose of the present study was to compare the mean preparation times and frequency with which Reciproc and Reciproc Blue instruments reached the full working length in mandibular molars, with or without glide path preparation. Materials and Methods: Previously untreated mesiobuccal and mesiolingual canals with completely formed apices were randomly divided into 6 groups (n = 50) depending on the usage of Reciproc (RC; VDW), Reciproc Blue (RC Blue; VDW), C-Pilot (CP; VDW), and R-Pilot (RP; VDW) files: RC, RC Blue, RC + C-Pilot (RC-CP), RC-Blue + C-Pilot (RC Blue-CP), RC+R-Pilot (RC-RP), and RC Blue + R-Pilot (RC Blue-RP). A glide path was prepared using the hand-operated C-Pilot or the machine-operated R-Pilot instruments, respectively. The ${\chi}^2$ test, analysis of variance, and the Tukey post hoc test were used for statistical comparisons. Results: No statistically significant differences were observed in the distribution of the frequency of reaching the full working length in the RC (94%), RC Blue (88%), RC-CP (94%), RC Blue-CP (90%), RC-RP (96%), and RC Blue-RP (92%) groups (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Preparation of a glide path did not have a significant effect on reaching the full working length using these systems.
The reinforced concrete (RC) structures usually suffer large residual displacements under strong motions. The large residual displacements may substantially reduce the anti-seismic capacity of structures during the aftershock and increase the difficulty and cost of structural repair after an earthquake. To reduce the adverse residual displacement, several self-centering energy dissipation braces (SCEBs) have been proposed to be installed to the RC structures. To investigate the seismic responses of the RC structures with SCEBs under the earthquake excitation, an extended Bouc-Wen model with degradation and self-centering effects is developed in this study. The extended model realized by MATLAB/Simulink program is able to capture the hysteretic characteristics of the RC structures with SCEBs, such as the energy dissipation and the degradation, especially the self-centering effect. The predicted hysteretic behavior of the RC structures with SCEBs based on the extended model, which used the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) for parameter identification, is compared with the experimental results. Comparison results show that the predicted hysteretic curves can be in good agreement with the experimental results. The nonlinear dynamic analyses using the extended model are then carried out to explore the seismic performance of the RC structures with SCEBs. The analysis results demonstrate that the SCEB can effectively reduce the residual displacements of the RC structures, but slightly increase the acceleration.

A general active RC network synthesis procedure which realizes any stable transfer function is described. The network elements are only R's, C's and OA's, and the network configuration are well suited for construction using thin-film RC networks and integrated cil'suit operational amplifiers. Poles and transmission zeros can be adjusted independently to each other and are qu;te insensitive to element variations.
