In this paper, we introduce the development of the large storage system in order to record the observed space radio signal in the Korean VLBI Network(KVN) with high-speed. The KVN is the Very Long Baseline Interferometery(VLBI) to observe the birth of star, the structure of space by constructing radio telescope with diameter 21m at the Seoul, Ulsan, Jeju from 2001 to 2007 years. To do this, Korea Astronomy Observatory joined the international consortium for developing the high-speed large storage system(Mark 5), which is developed by MIT Haystack observatory. The Mark 5 system based on hard disk has to record up to 1 Gbps the observed space radio signal. The main features of Mark 5 system are as follows; First it is able to directly record the input data to the hard disk without PC1(Peripheral Component Interconnect) internal bus, and the second, it has two hard disk banks, which are able to hot-swap ATA/IDE type very cheap up to 1 Gbps recording and playback. The third is that it follows the international VLBI standard interface hardware(VSI-H). Therefore it can be connect directly the VSI-H type system at the input/output. Finally it also supports e- VLBI(Electronic-VLBI) through the standard Gigabits Ethernet connection.

According to "structure-conduct-performance" paradigm in IO, market structure (concentration) determines conduct (R&D investments), and conduct yields market performance (ratio of price to marginal cost). Previous empirical studies on Schumpeter Mark I, II assumed that the explanatory variable (market structure) and the disturbance are uncorrelated in the R&D equation. In this situation, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimates of the structural parameters are inconsistent, because the endogeneous variables (R&D and market structure) can be determined simultaneously. So, in this study, full information (or system methods) estimation is used to test Schumpeter hypothesis since joint estimation can as well bring efficiency gains in the seemingly uncorrelated regressions (SUR) setting.

A 3-partite 2-digraph is an orientation of a 3-partite multi-graph that is without loops and contains at most two edges between any pair of vertices from distinct parts. Let D(X, Y, Z) be a 3-partite 2-digraph with ${\mid}X{\mid}=l,\;{\mid}Y{\mid}=m,\;{\mid}Z{\mid}=n$. For any vertex v in D(X, Y, Z), let $d^+_{\nu}\;and\;d^-_{\nu}$ denote the outdegree and indegree respectively of v. Define $p_x=2(m+n)+d^+_x-d^-_x,\;q_y=2(l+n)+d^+_y-d^-_y\;and\;r_z=2(l+m)+d^+_z-d^-_z$ as the marks (or 2-scores) of x in X, y in Y and z in Z respectively. In this paper, we characterize the marks of 3-partite 2-digraphs and give a constructive and existence criterion for sequences of non-negative integers in non-decreasing order to be the mark sequences of some 3-partite 2-digraph.

국내 목조건축물을 가해하는 지중 흰개미인 Reticulitermes speratus 군체의 영역 범위 산정을 위한 적정 염색약 선정 및 확산 경향 평가를 실시하였다. Sawdust diet를 이용한 감수성 평가 결과, 염색약의 농도가 증가할수록 섭식량은 감소하지만 보다 진하게 염색되었으며, 생존율은 Neutral Red 0.5%를 제외하고 4주차까지 모든 농도 조건이 대조군과 차이 없이 85% 이상의 생존하였다. 또한 2가지 염색약 모두 0.1% 농도 조건을 제외한 0.2% 이상의 농도 조건에서 11주 동안 염색이 유지되었고 전이력은 염색약 섭식 직후를 제외하고는 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 따라 Nile Blue A와 Neutral Red 모두 0.2% 농도 조건이 R. speratus 군체의 영역 모니터링에 최적의 농도라고 판단된다. 이와 더불어 실내 조건에서 제작된 40m 길이의 foraging arena에 약 25,000마리 군체를 서식시킨 뒤, Nile Blue A와 Neutral Red 0.2% 농도로 각각 염색된 개체를 양 쪽 끝에 방사하여 시간 경과에 따른 확산 경향을 파악하였다. 그 결과 염색 개체가 7일 정도의 기간에 40m 거리까지 점진적으로 확산 이동하여 서로 섞이는 것이 확인되었다. 이를 통해 목조건축물에 유입된 R. speratus 군체를 대상으로 Mark-Release-Recapture(MRR) 법을 이용한 모니터링을 실시할 경우, 군체의 영역 범위를 산정할 수 있으며, 서로 다른 군체의 식별도 가능할 것이다.

알긴산의 저분자화를 목적으로 선량을 달리한 감마선 처리와 유기산의 pH, 온도 그리고 산의 종류를 달리하여 실험을 실시하였다. 우선 5%(w/w)의 알긴산 수용액의 $2{\sim}100\;kGy$ 감마선 처리는 약 $125,000\;Da{\sim}10,500\;Da$ 범위의 분자량을 보였고, 고유점도는 약 $600{\sim}10(g/g)$의 값을 나타나게 했다. 분자량과 고유점도 모두 10 kGy의 선량까지는 급격히 감소하고 $10{\sim}100\;kGy$까지는 비교적 완만히 감소됨을 보아 10 kGy까지의 감마선 조사가 알긴산의 급격한 분해를 일으키는 것으로 나타났다. 분자량과 고유점도의 관계식인 Mark-Houwink 식은 감마선 조사를 통해 $[{\eta}]=2.2{\times}10^{-6}\;Mw^{1.656}\;(R^2=0.998)$으로 유도할 수 있었다. 유기산에 의한 알긴산의 분자량의 변화는 일정 pH와 일정 온도에서 방사선 조사량의 저분자화 효과와 비교를 할 수 있는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 유기산 종류에 따른 분자량 변화는 ascorbic acid를 이용할 경우, 저분자화 효과가 우수한 결과가 나왔지만 유기산에 의한 알긴산의 저분자화 효과는 계속적인 보완연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Alteration in chromosome numbers and structures instigate and foster massive genetic instability. As Boveri has seen a hundred years ago (Boveri, 1914; 2008), aneuploidy is hall-mark of many cancers. However, whether aneuploidy is the cause or the result of cancer is still at debate. The molecular mechanism behind aneuploidy includes the chromosome mis-segregation in mitosis by the compromise of spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC). SAC is an elaborate network of proteins, which monitor that all chromosomes are bipolarly attached with the spindles. Therefore, the weakening of the SAC is the major reason for chromosome number instability, while complete compromise of SAC results in detrimental death, exemplified in natural abortion in embryonic stage. Here, I will review on the recent progress on the understanding of chromosome missegregation and cancer, based on the comparison of different mouse models of BubR1, the core component of SAC.

최근, 선진국에서는 $Rukaflex^{(R)}$라는 새로운 구조의 웨빙을 개발하여, normal usage marks를 감소시키고, 웨빙의 품질을 향상시키려는 경향을 보인다. 기존의 웨빙은 멀티 필라멘트가 경/위사 방향으로 교차되는 구조를 갖는 소폭직물인데, 새로운 구조의 $Rukaflex^{(R)}$는 위사방향에 멀티 필라멘트와 모노 필라멘트를 동시에 사용하여 탄성률(resilience)을 높여서 구조 안정성을 항상시킨 형태의 웨빙이다. 본 연구에서는 $Rukaflex^{(R)}$ 웨빙의 수명을 구조개선 및 마모특성 향상을 통하여 50% 이상 향상시켰는데, 기존 웨빙과 초기 인장강도에서는 차이가 나지 않았으나 활성화 에너지, 형상모수, $B_{10}$ 수명이 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는, 척도모수에서는 기존 웨빙과 근소한 차이를 보이나 구조개선에 의한 마모특성 향상에 의하여, 균일한 마모 및 degradation 특성을 나타내므로, $B_{10}$ 수명이 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to the relationship between powerlessness, self-efficacy and quality of life in hemodialysis patients. The subjects were compromised of 198 hemodialysis patients from Pusan, Kyung-Sang Namdo and Kyung-Sang Bukdo 6 hemodialysis clinics. Data were collected by questionnaires from Sep. 19 to Oct. 27, 2001. The instrument used for study were the Powerlessness Behavioral Assessment Tool(Miller, 1983) and self-efficacy developed by Kim, Ju-Hyun(1995) and quality of life developed by Kim, Ok-Soo(1993). Collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, pearson correlation. The results were as follows. 1. The mean score of powerlessness was $52.41{\pm}6.93$, mean mark $3.28{\pm}0.43$, and the mea score of self-efficacy was $45.44{\pm}7.75$, mean mark $2.87{\pm}0.49$, and the mea score of quality of life was $121.27{\pm}23.81$, mean mark $2.96{\pm}0.58$. 2. There were significant differences in the level of powerlessness according to sex(t=2.148, p=.033), occupation(t=3.682, p=.000), economic status(F=3.094, p=.048), experience of hospitalization (t=-2.002, p=.047). 3. There were significant differences in the level of self-efficacy according to age(F=3.271, p=.013), economic status (F=5.759, p=.004), religion(F=2.667, p=.048), hemodialysis period(F=2.991, p=.032), hemodialysis frequency(t=9.045, p=.003), experience of hospitalization (t=4.40, p=.037). 4. There were significant differences in the level of quality of life according to occupation(t=3.796, p=.053), economic status(F=11.478, p=.000), hemodialysis frequency(t=7.573, p=.006). 5. There were significant negative correlation between powerlessness and self-efficacy (r=- .401, p<.001) powerlessness and quality of life(r=- .562, p<.001). There were significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and quality of life(r= .512, p<.001).

삼치, Scomberomorus niphonius (Cuvier et Valenciennes), 는 우리나라 수출전략어종중 가장 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 어종의 하나이며 1968년도 삼치총어획고는 7,590 M/T으로서 7억1천4백여만원선에 달하였으며 이중 거의 전량이 수출되고 있다. 이와같이 경제적 위치가 높은 어종인데도 불구하고 삼치자원에 대한 조사연구보고는 전혀 없어 이 자원에 대한 조사연구가 절실히 요망되어 왔었다. 필자는 자원해석을 행함에 있어서 무엇보다 기분적인 지견이 되는 성장과 년령과의 관계를 구명하기 위한 제1차 조사작업으로 삼치의 년령사정법에 관한 문제를 취급하였다. 1969년에 발생한 서남해안 일대의 코레라 사태와 제한된 연구기간등으로 인한 계절적 자료의 부족으로 상기목적에 적합한 표분을 계통적으로 수집하기 못해 완전한 검토는 못하였지만 일부 1969년도 자료를 분석한 결과 춘추골로서 년령사정이 가능하다는 것을 알게 되어 이에 그 개요를 보고한다.
