  • We have an urgent matter that is lack of energy resource. So we have to accomplish the design of economical energy utility systems and to develop energy facilities with high efficiency. Cogeneration system is one of them. It has high efficiency and can solve unbalanced electricity and heat demand in Summer & Winter concurrently. Recently, to increase the efficiency and stability of the total system, it is applying automatic control and monitoring software to the hardware facilities in industrial control systems. Therefore, these systems has been researched and developed in the advanced countries. It also has been researched and developed in the domestic since '60. But the control and monitoring software in cogeneration system has been hardly developed and has been imported expensive products from the advanced countries. In this study, we have developed the software of operating control, status monitoring, operating data managing and tele-controlling. We have confirmed usefullness of developed software by applying to gas turbine cogeneration system.

안과 진단 및 치료기기의 원격조정 표적 추적장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Target Tracing Equipment by Remote Control for a Medical Theraphy and Diagnosis of an Ophthalmology)

  • 기존의 안과 진단 및 치료 기기의 안구 고정장치는 진단 및 치료에 있어서 피검사자와 검사자에 사이에 충분한 협조가 되지 않을 경우 진단의 비효율성과 치료의 안정성등의 문제가 발생하고있다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위하여 SLO의 전면 세극등을 소형의 반사경으로 대치하고 표시등을 후면의 먼거리에 수직으로 배열시켜서 피검사자에게 적당한 높이의 고정등을 선택하게하여 수직방향의 안구 위치를 고정시키고 SLO(Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope)의 좌우 회전기능으로 표적의 수평방향을 근절시킨 후에 검사자의 조작으로 원격조정되는 서보장치를 이용하여 다시 반사경을 전방향으로 미세하게 회전되게하여 정확한 위치로 안구를 이동시키게 하는 원격조정 표적 추적장치를 개발하였다. 이에 따라 피검사자는 거울에 비친 먼거리의 허상을 보게 되어 세극등을 이용한 근접주사방식의 단점인 안구의 축동, 폭주등으로 인한 환자의 눈의 피로를 최소화하면서 피검사자의 안구를 검사자가 원하는 위치로 고정시킬 수 있게 함으로써 임상실험에서 안과 진단의 정확성과 관리도를 높이고 치료의 효율성과 안전성을 증가시킬 수 있는 원격조정 추적장치로써의 성능을 확인하였다.

광양만 환경오염 관리모델 연구의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Economic Effects of the Management Model far Environment Pollution in Gwangyang Bay)

  • The purpose of this paper is to measure economic impact of marine environment conservation research development project. Benefit-Cost(B/C) analysis and Contingent Valuation Methods(CVM) are used to valuate the benefits from the research development projects. A period of three years for research development fund is considered as a part of the costs and adjusted to the net present value (NPV) of the 2002 ending period. The environmental charges for marine environment improvement are considered for the benefit measurement. The benefits are estimated by using monthly average willingness to pay, which is 2,289 Korean won. The contribution of the developing a management model for environmental pollution in the Gwangyang Bay is evaluated utilizing survey data and information. Based on the assessment by expert groups, the contribution of the model was 37.5%. The research results showed that B/C ratio is 20.61, NPV is 89,200 million Korean won, and social rate of return is 185.7%. When the level of contribution is over 1.83% at the assessment of potential influence, it is recognized to be economically feasible. This research presents a quantitative framework for Research and Development projects for marine environment conservation, and it can be applied to decision making for the investment size of R&D projects.

V2G 전기자동차의 부하관리 자원 활용을 위한 적정 지원금 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Decision of Appropriate Subsidy Levels Regarding Electric Vehicles for V2G as Load Management Resources)

  • Recently, various energy efficiency optimization activities are ongoing globally by integrating conventional grids with ICT (Information and Communication Technology). In this sense, various smart grid projects, which power suppliers and consumers exchange useful informations bilaterally in real time, have been being carried out. The electric vehicle diffusion program is one of the projects and it has been spotlighted because it could resolve green gas problem, fuel economy and tightening environmental regulations. In this paper, the economics of V2G system which consists of electric vehicles and the charging infrastructure is evaluated comparing electric vehicles for V2G with common electric vehicles. Additional benefits of V2G are analyzed in the viewpoint of load leveling, frequency regulation and operation reserve. To find this benefit, electricity sales is modeled mathematically considering depth of discharge, maximum capacity reduction, etc. Benefit and cost analysis methods with the modeling are proposed to decide whether the introduction of V2G systems. Additionally, the methods will contribute to derive the future production and the unit cost of electric vehicle and battery and to get the technical and economic analysis.

전력설비 관리를 위한 무선 및 유선 통신 방법에 관한 고찰 (A Investment on Wire-wireless Communication Method for Electrical Device Infrastructure Maintenance)

  • Power plants maintenance data is to be sent to management server system via a communication network. In this case, reliable communication network is required. Transmission of the power plants maintenance data is used in the wired communication network or wireless communication network. PLC communication network is a kind of wired communication network. However PLC communication network is easily affected by noise. On the vulnerable areas in power line system, such as a mountain or rural areas, it is difficult to form a power line communication network. For a wireless communication, environment are also influenced factors in wireless communication. Harsh environmental factors are bring the communication characteristic degradation. In such areas it can be used a combination of two networks and in this way the complementary function can be achieved. Power plants are distributed in various regions across the country. The appropriate communication network is needed to maintain the power plant.This study investigated the effect of environment on the wired communication and wireless communication. It would examine a variable factor which is affect to the communication characteristic. We used PLC communication for wired communication network and ZigBee communication for wireless communication network. We investigated the characteristics of a single communication network and it raised the need for a complex communication technology to complement a single communication network.

  • Data are a critical utility asset. Collecting correct data on site leads to accurate information. Data, when gathered with foresight & properly formatted, are useful to both existing database and easily transferable to newer, more comprehensive historical outage data. However, when investigating data items options, the task, can be an arduous one, often requiring the efforts of entire committees. This paper firstly discusses the KEPCO's past 10 years of historical outage data which include meterological data, and also by several elements of the National Weather Service, failure rate, outage duration, and probability classification, etc. Then, these collected data are automatically stored in an Outage Data Management System (ODMS), which allows for easy access and display. ODMS has a straight-forward and easy-to-use interface. It lets you to navigate through modules very easily and allows insertion, deletion or editing of data. In particular, this will further provide the KEPCO that not only helps with probabilistic security assessment but also provides a platform for future development of Probability Estimation Program (PEP).

Design of Ballistic Calculation Model for Improving Accuracy of Naval Gun Firing based on Deep Learning

  • 본 논문에서는 함포 사격 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 표적 위치 예측과 사격 오차 도출에서의 딥러닝 알고리즘 적용 가능성을 연구하였다. 표적 위치 예측 시 딥러닝 알고리즘의 하나인 LSTM 모델과 RN 구조를 적용했을 때 좀 더 정밀한 표적 위치를 예측할 수 있다는 가능성을 확인하고 모델을 설계하였다. 사격 오차 도출 시 사격제원 계산에 영향을 끼치는 요소들을 데이터 셋으로 관리하며, GAN을 사용하여 데이터 셋을 생성 후 강화 학습을 진행하여 사격 오차를 줄일 수 있는 모델을 설계하였다. 2가지 모델을 결합하여 사격 정확도를 향상시키기 위한 딥러닝 기반의 사격제원 계산 모델을 설계하였다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify influencing factors affecting service quality provided by caregivers working for the elderly with dementia. Methods: Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire from 214 caregivers in a long-term care facility in D city. The data were analyzed with service quality, dementia knowledge, work value, and job performance confidence. For data analysis, the descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: There were significant differences in service quality depending on the health status. Factors influencing service quality were work value, and job performance confidence with R2 value of 38%. The highly influencing factors were work value, and job performance confidence. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the effort to improve the service quality of caregivers should focus on work value and job performance confidence.

전술환경에서 QoS 보장을 위한 클래스 기반 FQ-Codel 알고리즘 적용 연구 (Application Study of FQ-CoDel Algorithm based on QoS-guaranteed Class in Tactical Network)

  • 본 논문은 전술 통신망에서 QoS 향상을 위한 클래스 기반의 FQ-CoDel(Flow queue-Control Delay) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 전술 통신망에서 다양한 응용체계 서비스를 제공하게 되면서 병목현상으로 인한 트래픽 손실 및 지연 문제가 대두되었고 따라서 효과적인 트래픽 처리 방안 연구에 대한 필요성이 제기되었다. 제안방안은 클래스 기반의 FQ-CoDel 알고리즘을 이용한 동적인 버퍼 관리 및 스케줄링 기술로써 서비스 특성 및 중요도에 따라 해당 큐에 패킷을 분류하고 주기적으로 각 패킷의 대기시간을 체크하여 기준 대기 시간을 초과하는 경우 해당 패킷을 폐기하여 큐에 저장된 트래픽 양을 일정 수준으로 조절한다.

스마트 TV 기반 스마트 헬스케어 서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Smart Healthcare Service Based on Smart TV)

  • 최근 고령화의 가속화로 인해 의료비의 부담이 증가하고 있는 가운데 의학기술의 발전과 소득 수준이 증가함에 따라 복지수요가 확대되면서 건강관리와 예방 중심의 헬스케어 서비스를 추구하고 있다. 그리고 이러한 헬스케어 트렌드와 스마트기기 보급의 확산이 맞물리면서 스마트기기와 개인건강 기기를 활용하여 의료서비스와 IT간의 융복합을 통한 스마트 헬스케어 서비스가 널리 주목받고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 건강기기 표준에 따른 스마트TV를 기반으로 하는 여러 스마트 헬스케어 서비스를 제시하고자 한다.
