(3) Each programs had element of Information access strategy and skills that explained to OPAC, Indexes and Abstracts, On-line retrievals. (4) Implements the search strategy using various formats was essential elements in the programs. (5) Evaluation and synthesis was included in the programs, partially evaluation for information process and satisfaction was included. (6) The writing skills for termpaper. quotations and oral presentations are important elements of information use in the programs, however. those programs didn't contain enough the ethical and legal uses of information with respect to the standard.
In modern Spanish culture, there is not other cineaste who has explored the controversial topic of sexuality deeper and more reiterative ways than Pedro $Almod{\acute{o}}var$. In our opinion, $Educaci{\acute{o}}n$> fundamentally, is a metaphoric work about the corruption of the Catholicism during Francisco Franco regime in Spain. This movie is a brilliant and solid critic to the abuses suffered by a child in a religious school during the Franco regime. This movie is about the forbidden desire in Catholicism and the tragic end of a priest. Father Manolo sexually abused one of his students at the school; as a result, this student loses his sexual identity and ends up ruining his own life due to using drugs. Eventually he is revenged by his younger brother. On this movie, $Educaci{\acute{o}}n$>, Pedro $Almod{\acute{o}}var$ portrays a sentiment of anticlericalism and blasphemy against God and Jesus Christ through a story which contains homosexual scenes and direct quotations of biblical cites, such as the expulsion of the merchants and sellers out of the temple in Jerusalem in the Mathew gospel to insinuate Jesus'lack of charity and love to others. We conclude that Almodovar's description of the fallout of this priest, caused by his forbidden desire, is not only beyond anti-Catholicism but it can also be seen as an actual reflection of the cultural and sexual change in the European and, in particular, Spanish society.
Objectives : This paper intends to shed light on the value of Jejungsinpyeon, which is known to have had a considerable impact on the country's medicine in the later period Joseon Period, and its position in the Joseon history of medicine. To such an end, this paper focuses on how Yakseongga was developed and transformed in the later period Joseon Period through a bibliographical study of it. Methods : (1) To make comparison and analysis of the 303 lines, which the author said he quoted from Wan.bing.hui.chun and Susebowon, with Yakseongga of Jejungsinpyeon to see association between them based on Yakseongga contained in Jejungsinpyeon (2) To make a table concerning the names of the books, their authors, when they were published, how many kinds there are, their formats based on a survey of literature containing Yakseongga published after Jejungsinpyeon. (3) To see influences made by Jejungsinpyeon on books of medicine in the later Joseon Period. Results : It was found that a total of 303 lines had been quoted from Wan bing hui chun and Susebowon and that 83 lines had been newly inserted by the author. As a result of an analysis of Yakseongga of Jejungsinpyeon, Of the 303 lines, 297 were quoted from Susebowon, and only six from Wan bing hui chun. This means that the author of Jejungsinpyeon chiefly used Susebowon as the source of Yakseongga quoted therein. 275 lines, or 76%, of a total of 386 lines of Yakseongga of Jejungsinpyeon, have their Korean names marked. Medicinal herbs marked as Chinese herbs number 83 out of 386. Among the 83 herbs named, one belongs to the part newly inserted by the author, while the remaining 82 are quoted from Yakseongga. Conclusions : It shows the author's intention to make what is contained in Yakseongga localized knowledge and used by the people easily, although Yakseongga was compiled based on quotations from Chinese literature.

Objectives : This study aims to catalogue contraindicated acupoints for needling in Chimgupyeon of Dongeuibogam and to determine implications for citation accuracy. Methods : We found and compiled contraindicated acupoints for needling and their citations in Chimgupyeon of Dongeuibogam, then verified the accuracy of the citations by comparing them with what was written in the cited literature. In cases where the citation is not exact, the correct reference was estimated by comparing it with the acupuncture literature. And the thoughts of Heo Jun were predicted based on inferences and papers investigating Dongeuibogam. Results : There are two sections on contraindicated acupoints for needling in Chimgupyeon of Dongeuibogam: the section on the 14 meridians and their acupoints, and the section on Geumchimhyeol. In the section on the 14 meridians and their acupoints, the number of contraindicated acupoints for needling are 29, and most of them are quoted from Donginsuhyeolchimgudogyeong. And in the section on Geumchimhyeol, 34 contraindicated acupoints for needling are listed from Geumchimhyeol in Uihakipmun. Most of the quotations were accurate, but some were summarized, and some were inaccurate. However, most of the inaccurate citations are probably Heo Jun's own thoughts based on other literature. Conclusions : The contraindicated acupoints for needling in Chimgupyeon of Dongeuibogam are assumed to have been written by Heo Jun based on his medical knowledge and literature, with an emphasis on practicality, and it is suggested that they are based on the contents of Donginsuhyeolchimgudogyeong and Uihakipmun in particular.
There have been enormous social impacts on many areas, including science journalism, since the so-called "Hwang Woo Suk" incident. Although wide demand for better science journalism has been aroused since then, but it is hard to find an evidence to prove we have reached the point. This study examines how major Korean newspapers report Unidentified Flying Objects in order to test if the level of science journalism had been elevated. As results, still it is a long road ahead to achieve the goals because most reports were taken from the international news agents or from the witnesses rather than scientific researches and analyses; terminologies used in the stories were ambiguous; follow-up stories were rare, the sources were usually pseudo-scientific, wanton errors in basic facts and coherence, and other problems were found. It could be suggested that the dependency on supplied news to be reduced, journalists who understand both science and journalism are required, inner regulations on science reporting to be established, correct quotations and fact-checks to be accomplished, fairness to be maintained within the boundary of normal science.
The acupuncture and moxibustion documentary characteristics of "Chimgujasaenggyeong" can be summarized into 6 parts such as the follwing 1. "Chimgujasaenggyeong" was written at about 1180-1195 during the Southern Song period. It contains 7 volumes in all. The acupuncture points and their variations in volume 1 were all directly recorded from Wang-yuil(王維一)'s "Dong-insuhyeolchimgudogyeong(銅人腧穴鍼灸圖經)" and 11 points were added from volumes 99 and 100 of "Taepyeongseonghyebang(太平聖惠方)", bringing the total to 365 points, which was different from the 360 that the people knew. Volume 2 is the actual collection of theses on acupuncture and moxibustion by Wangjipjung(王執中) and shows his unique views on the basic problems of acupuncture and moxibustion such as selection of points[取穴], application of moxas[施灸], aftercare of moxibustion[灸後護理] and acupuncture and moxibustion contraindications[鍼灸禁忌]. Volumes 3${\sim}$7 mostly divide the indications(主治) from "Dong-insuhyeolchimgudogyeong", "Taepyeongseonghyebang", "Cheon-geumyobang(千金要方)" by disease into chapters. 2. Of the remaining editions the 'Cheonryeok Guanggeunseodang Inbon(天曆 廣勤書堂 印本)' of the Won dynasty is the first, and the Jeongtong(正統) new edition is a reprint based on the Cheonryeok(天曆) edition, and the Jeongtong edition reprinted in the 9th year of Guanmun(寬文) of Japan has many missing and wrong characters compared to the original copy. 3. The big letters[大字] under the line in the current editions are all postscripts[按語] of Wangjipjung and the 5 verses quoted from other books that do not have their origin listed and have the qualities of rules for treatment in the first chapter of volume 3 'Heoson(虛損)' were put together by Wang. 4. In the annotations in small print of the current edition of "Jasaenggyeong" there are Wisegeol(衛世傑)'s added annotations in addition to Wangjipjung's original ones. 5. Some of the many medical books quoted by the "Jasaenggyeong" that are from before the Song dynasty have been lost completely and only can be seen here in this important text. 6. The quotations said to be from 'Myeongdanggyeong(明堂經)'(or 'Myeongdang(明堂)', 'Myeong(明)') in "Jasaenggyeong" are directly from volume 77 'Chimgyeong(鍼經)' and volume 100 'Myeongdang' of "Taepyeongseonghyebang" and not another book. The quotes from 'Myeongdang' in accupuncture and moxibustion books after the Song dynasty were directly or indirectly copied from "Jasaenggyeong".
"The Waste Land" is Eliot's best known poem. It was first published in 1922 and became a famous poem in modem poetry by the 1940's. The poem is a statement of his personal experience with spiritual crisis, this simple outline is complicated and universalized by being set within the structure of 'the Fisher King legend'. The fisher King legend was studied by Miss Weston in From Ritual to Romance and Sir James Frazer in The Goldon Bough which traced the vegetation myths. It explained the cycle of the seasons in relation to the death and rebirth of a god. The god died in the winter with the death of the vegetation and was reborn in the spring with the rebirth of the vegetation. Sir James Frazer reaced these ancient rituals within the Christian world. He indicated that the death and rebirth of Christ falls within the pattern of this ancient ritual. Also Miss Weston transformed that ancient ritual into Christian terms, and connected it with the Quest for the Holy Grail. Eliot used not only the title, but the plan and a good of the important symbolism of the poem from these two books. "The Waste Land" is a difficult one because of the numerous interruptions in the narrative. On the superficial level, the story covers a 12-hour period in a day. It is also in "the stream of consciousness." It might be called the internal monologue; that is, "the free association of ideas in the mind of the narrator," Eliot experiments with both the idea of time and with the stream of consciousness, He employs a number of quotations and allusion from the Classic literature. So, his technique in "The Waste Land" consists of the juxtaposition of the present with mythcism and religious symbolism derived from the past. The structure of the poem is built out of the contrasts in time. The poem illustrates his conception of the past as an active part of the present. "The Waste Land" has "a symphonic structure" composed of five parts, which are linked by the repeated themes. The theme is the death and salvation of the Waste Land. It is drawn from the Fisher King myths. Moreover, he has absorbed into the structure of this poem the language, phrases, and associations of other writers. It gave the poem the universality both of theme and of pattern. Also, his intricate and fine techniques added the universality to the poet's personal material. At last, the verse pattern of the poem follow the same basic structure as the thematic patterns. Again in symphonic style, the verse varies from section to section. The interruption of real time is associated with the flow of consciousness. Though the poem is a complex structure, there are the interweavings of a great deal of ideas into a simple, brief statement. By these poetic techniques the poem manages to have good harmony and unity between the thematic pattern and narrative structure. "The Waste Land" therefore, became the greatest poem in the 20th century modern world.
This study analyzed the effect of small and medium businesses' R&D intensity and patents on their price-earnings (P/E) ratios. Regression analysis was conducted on a sample of manufacturers listed on the Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) for the past decade (2000~2009). The result is summarized as follows. First, a negative correlation was identified between companies' R&D intensity and their P/E ratios, but no significant relationship was found between their numbers of domestic patent applications and registrations and P/E ratios. Second, the analysis of the effect of the companies' R&D intensity on their P/E ratios resulted in a negative correlation of -1%. Third, the analysis of the effect of the companies' number of domestic patent applications and registrations on their P/E ratios showed that they did not have any significant relationship. Fourth, high-tech firms' R&D intensity had a negative correlation of -1% with their P/E ratios, but had a positive correlation of 1% with their numbers of domestic patent applications. Furthermore, the R&D intensity of middle-to-high and middle-to-low tech enterprises had a negative correlation of -1% with their P/E ratios, whereas their numbers of domestic patent applications and registrations had no significant relationship with their P/E ratios. The above results suggest that to produce successful outcomes from their R&D investment and patents, individual firms need strategies for technological innovation that relate to their technological level.
1. Background and Purpose: I intended to understand the medical and pharmacological theory of Taeumin, through a study of the process through which Lee Je-ma discovered the Interior-Overheated-Disease of Taeumin and created the prescriptions for it. 2. Methods: I studied and analized the change in the medical and pharmacological theory, through a historical study on the quotations and prescriptions of "DongYi Soose Bowon". 3. Results: Through a literature study I could find that in the existing Oriental Medicine before Lee Je-ma, the difference of the Liver Febrile Disease of Taeumin and the Stomach Febrile Disease of Soyangin were recognized, and the prescriptions of the two diseases were a little distinguished, but the medical theories of those were not distinguished at all. And I found that the Liver Febrile Disease of Taeumin shows the pain in the eyes and the throat, and drying of the nose due to interior dry and heat, so it is different from the Stomach Febrile Disease of Soyangin that shows irritation of fever, headache, and the trouble in passing feces and urine. Also I could know that Radix Puerariae, Rhizoma Cimicifugae, Rhizoma Ligustici, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, and Radix et Rhizoma Rhei are Taeumin's medicines because these medicines had been used for Taeumin's syndromes, and that Radix Scutellariae, Radix Platycodi, Semen Raphani, and Fructus Gleditsiae are Tae-Eum-In's medicines because these medicines are known as acting for lung.
The purpose of this paper is to compare learners' academic texts with academic texts of native speakers and to examine the usage patterns of learners' objectification strategies in detail. In order to achieve objectivity as a discourse mechanism applied to describe the results of academic inquiry in a scientific way with universality and validity, we analyzed concepts and signs such as related intentionality, accuracy, and mitigation of the linguistic markers of objectification strategies. As a result of the comparison, it was analyzed that there are intersectional overlaps with the signs that reveal objectivity, signs indicating related mechanisms, and there is a different set that is differentiated. Objective markers can be broadly classified as emphasizing stativity of research results, separating research subjects from research results, and generalizing research contents. Sustainable expressions and noun phrases emphasize statehood, and non-inhabited expressions, passive expressions, and self-quotations are maintained in the distance between the claimant and the writer, and the pluralization through first-person pronouns and suffixes contributes to generalization. In the case of the learner, the non-inhuman expression of the quotation type appears to be very less compared to the maw speaker, which could be due to the lack of recognition of the citation method of the Korean academic text. Next, in the generalization of the research contents, the expression of 'we' was very less compared to the maw speakers.
