직무만족 조사에서의 질문 순서 및 질문 의도 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Question-Order and Question-Intention Effects in Surveys of Job Satisfaction)

  • 자기보고식 설문 조사는 상황적 요인 및 개인적 특성에 따라 응답 결과가 달라질 수 있다. 본 연구는 산업 및 조직심리학 분야에서 널리 연구되고 있는 직무만족 변인을 중심으로 설문 조사 시 질문 순서 및 질문 의도가 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 설문지는 전반적 질문과 세부적 질문의 배치 순서에 따른 질문 순서 차이 그리고 직무만족 또는 직무불만족 측정에 따른 질문 의도 차이에 따라 총 4종류를 사용하였다. 94명의 직장인을 대상으로 한 설문 조사 결과 기존 연구와 달리 전반적 질문이 먼저 제시된 경우에서 전반적 질문과 세부적 질문에 대한 응답 간 상관이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 통계적으로 유의한 수준은 아니었으나 직무만족 질문이 직무불만족의 질문에 비해 대부분의 영역에서 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 향후 연구방향을 살펴보았다.

Combined Procedure of Direct Question and Randomized Response Technique

  • In this paper, a simple and obvious procedure is presented that allows to estimate $\pi$, the population proportion of a sensitive group. Suggested procedure is combined procedure of direct question and randomized response technique. It is found that the proposed procedure is more efficient than Warner's(1965).

Uniqueness of Meromorphic Functions and a Question of Gross

  • In this paper, we deal with the uniqueness of meromorphic functions concerning one question of Gross (see [5, Question 6]), and obtain some results that are improvements of that of former authors. Moreover, the example shows that the result is sharp.

  • Using the periodic continued fraction, we give concrete examples of the points at which the derivatives of the Minkowski question mark function does not exist. We also give examples of the differentiability points which show that recent apparently independent results are consistent and closely related.

  • In this paper production and perception data were examined to discover what acoustic features are used in distinguishing wh-questions and yes/no-questions. Production data show that the two question types are distinguished by different accentual phrasing, pitch ranges in wh-phrases, and initial lenis stop voicing of the first syllable in verb phrases. Perception data by synthetic intonation show that the two question types are distinguished by the width of pitch ranges between the first and the second syllable in wh-phrases. Initial lenis stop voicing of the first syllable in verb phrases produces a strong effect on the perceptual discrimination of the two question types.

제7차 초등학교 과학 교과서 물질 영역에 제시된 발문 분석 (Analysis of Questions in the 'Matter' Units of Elementary Science Textbooks under the 7th Curriculum)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the questions in the 'Matter' units of elementary science textbooks under the 7th curriculum. For the analysis, a total of 338 questions were extracted from 15 units. Six criteria (recalling, recognizing, predictive, applied, divergent, and evaluative question) were reconstructed for textbook question analysis based on Blosser(1973)'s question category system for science. The results were as follows. First, there were more closed (recalling, recognizing, predictive, or applied) questions (72.2%) than open (divergent or evaluative) questions (27.8%) in elementary science textbooks. Second, cognitive-memory (recalling or recognizing) question type was the most frequently asked in all grade levels. Open (divergent or evaluative) questions increased according to grade level whereas convergent (predictive or applied) questions decreased. Third, question types were applied based on the characteristics of each unit rather than on children's developmental characteristics. Educational implications were discussed based on the results.

초점 실현과 운율 조작에 대한 음소지각 (The Effect of Focus Representation and Intonational Manipulation in Phoneme Detecting)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe how Korean listeners detect a target phoneme with 'Focus' represented by prosodic prominence and question-induced semantic emphasis, and with intonational manipulation. According to the automated phoneme detection task using E-Prime, the Korean listeners detected phoneme targets more rapidly when the target-bearing words were in prominence position and in question-induced position. However, the presence of question-induced semantic emphasis reduced the prominence effect, so two effects interacted: when question-induced emphasis were primarily given as a cue, prominence which was given as secondary cue affected less to fine the new information. Besides, the intonation with manipulation was responded to faster than without manipulation.

Semantic-based Query Generation For Information Retrieval

  • In this paper, we describe a generation mechanism of semantic-based queries for high accuracy information retrieval and question answering. It is difficult to offer the correct retrieval result because general information retrieval systems do not analyze the semantic of user's natural language question. We analyze user's question semantically and extract semantic features, and we .generate semantic-based queries using them. These queries are generated using the se-mantic-based question analysis grammar and the query generation rule. They are represented as semantic features and grammatical morphemes that consider semantic and syntactic structure of user's questions. We evaluated our mechanism using 100 questions whose answer type is a person in the TREC-9 corpus and Web. There was a 0.28 improvement in the precision at 10 documents when semantic-based queries were used for information retrieval.
