오일 드레인과 엔진경사각도간의 상관관계 (A Study on the Correlation of Oil Drain and Engine Tilting Angle)

  • Parametric studies based on analysis of lubrication system of a four cylinder gasoline engine are illustrated system in this paper. In development process of engine lubrication system, parts of failure cases are related with oil pull over and oil churning phenomenon. The crankcase & head system pressure by oil churning phenomenon are gradual increased. It cause oil pull over phenomenon at engine breather line and oil over-consumption. In order to improve oil reduction and oil pull over phenomenon are also considered in the developing state. For this study, the characteristics of engine lubrication system are measured at various tilting angle and drain hole sizes. In addition, the oil flow & oil quantity are tested by blow by meter and catch jar. Results are presented to stabilize the oil supply system at sever driving condition. The data from present study are available for the engine lubrication system.

  • Recently Intake noise has been extensively studied to reduce the engine noise. In order to diminish intake noise several resonators were added to the intake system. However this can cause a reduction of engine output power and an increase of fuel consumption. In this study, active noise control simulation of the Filtered-x LMS algorithm is applied real instrumentation intake noise data under rapid acceleration because intake noise is more excessively increased under the such a harsh condition. But the FXLMS algorithm has poor control performance when the system is disturbed. Thus modified FXLMS algorithm using L-point running average filter is developed to improve the control performance under the rapid acceleration and disturbance. The noise reduction quantity of modified Filtered-x LMS algorithm is more than original one in two cases. In the case of control for real instrumentation intake noise data, maximum residual noise of modified FXLMS algorithm is 2.5 times less than applied the FXLMS and also in the case of disturbed, the modified FXLMS algorithm shows excellent control performance but FXLMS algorithm cat not control.

  • In this study, the Peltier effect was applied to eliminate moistures in the air enclosed by a cabinet. We have developed the new electronic dehumidifier which has a new function of automatically evaporating the condensed water inner cabinet into the outside air. To obtain this function, the processes of dehumidification is that it condensed the moistures on the cold side heat sink and drained it into the hot side heat sink by the both gravitational and capillary forces and the droplets on the hot side heat sink surface was evaporated into the air outside the cabinet by the heat conducted through the hot side heat sink surface and the forced heat convection through the fan for cooling hot side heat sink. Compared to existing electronic dehumidifiers, this manufactured one showed a good performance that the electric power consumption for the same dehumidifying quantity was reduced by 50% compared with that of existing ones.

  • The cultured tuna production which has suddenly expanded at the short time and the demand for it attract attention. Farming mode, distribution transactions, change of the market (domestic and international) and the price trend are reviewed from the Japan's position which is the biggest consuming country. This paper tries to describe the current status of the food system related to the cultured tuna. Japanese government began the development of the tuna culture technology in 1970. It was by the Fisheries Agency's project. Kinki University which is the large scale private university in Japan participated in the project. After that, 32 years have passed. Kinki University established the full farming of the bluefin tuna in August, 2002. On the other hand, in 1974, one Japanese private enterprise began its tuna farming business in Canada. Kinki University gave this company technical cooperation. Also, in the early stages of the 90s, as for the policy of the overseas fishery cooperation foundation, it supported the tuna farming business in Australia. It is very clear to understand that the long-term technological-development has supported the take-off scene of the tuna culture business not only in foreign countries but also in Japan. The total shipment scale of the cultured tuna expanded very much within about 10 recent years. However, the decrease of the wild tuna catch, the reinforcement of the fisheries regulation and the tuna body to dwarf are remarkable now. Under the condition as the mentioned above, Japan's tuna consumption, especially, in the market at the fatty meat of tuna of the cultured tuna is building up firm status. At present, the Mediterranean Sea coastal countries, Australia, Mexico and Japan have the tuna farming sites. Australia farms the southern bluefin tuna. The others do the bluefin tuna. About for 3 years, Japan farms the juvenile of the tuna. The global production areas are as follows. 8 coastal countries of the Mediterranean Sea; 18,000 tons (61 % of the cultured tuna quantity in foreign countries), Mexico; 4,500 ton (15%), Australia; 7,000 tons (24%). In 2003, Japan has 32 managements and 39 offices for tuna farming. In Japan, Kyushu and Okinawa district, the share shows itself as 80 % of the domestic production quantity. Especially, the share of Amami-oshima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture exceeds 60 %. Therefore, this island has the maximum production scale of Japan. The amount of supply of BT and SBT was 56,000 tons in 2004. In Abroad, the tuna farming business forms a fixed connection between the importer and the wholesaler which have their office in Japan. In the field of the capital composition, the payment in advance, transaction and the way of settlement, each maintains their fixed relation. The market conditions of the cultured tuna are supported by "the decline of price level" and "the expansion of the general public consumption segment". These lead a team merchandising, and it is supported by the fixed business connection of each. This makes the profit of each business which are on the cultured tuna distribution. However, they have competition on the power balance among them.

축전지 사용 유무에 따른 태양광발전기의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Photovoltaic Power Generator by Usage Battery Charge)

  • 본 연구는 온실 운영에 필요한 전력량을 확보함으로서 온실경영비 절감을 목적으로 태양광발전시스템을 온실에 인접한 건물의 옥상에 설치하여 일사량에 따른 발전량을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 실험기간 동안 수평면 일사량의 최대, 평균 및 최소값은 각각 $26.1MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$, $14.0MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$$0.6MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$ 정도였고, 일일 전력량은 각각 약 6.1kWh, 3.7kWh 및 0.01kWh 이었다. 그리고 누계 일사량과 전력량은 각각 약 $4,378.2MJ{\cdot}m^{-2}$ 및 1,163.2kWh 정도이었다. 그리고 부하에 의해 소비된 적산전력량의 최대, 평균 및 최소값은 각각 4.5kWh, 2.4kWh 및 0.0kWh 정도이었고, 누계전력량은 739.2kWh 정도로서 발생 전력량의 약 63.5%에 해당하였다. 본 실험에 사용된 시스템의 평균 소비전력량을 기준으로 보면, 온풍기의 용량 및 작동시간이 작은 경우는 충분하지만 큰 경우는 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 어레이 표면온도가 상대적으로 높아지면 일사량에 비례해서 발생 전력이 증가하지 않은 것으로 나타났지만, 두 인자 간에 상관계수는 0.851 정도로서 상관관계가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Reuses Of Wash Water Effluents Of The Ion-Exchanger Units Of Water Demineralization Plant For Economic And Environmental Benefits

  • In industrial field, a large volume of regenerants (acid and caustic soda) and their washing effluents are regularly disposed off from the water demineralization plant during regeneration of the ion-exchanger units. Of these waste effluents, a part of the wash water discharged from the single bed Anion and Mixed Bed units can be utilized at a certain stage of their washing cycles when its conductivity is fallen down and becomes considerably less than that of the input raw water. The main aim of this specific waste effluent utilization is to dilute the TDS concentration of the input raw water (fed into the single bed ion-exchanger units) by blending. The achievement is the increase of the longevity of the production cycles of the I.E. units along with the improvement of the production quality and decrease of the regeneration frequencies. As a result, regenerant consumption would be saved because of the reduction of ionic load in feed water which will ultimately reduce the water purification cost. At the same time, the environment pollution will also be protected to a considerable extent. This operational measure is quite effective and useful specially where high TDS water is demineralized only by single bed ion-exchangers. In such case, the water treatment plant is very often found to suffer from both production quality and quantity in addition to carrying out of random and restless regenerations. Proper reuses of the aforesaid wash water effluents of the Anion and MB units excellently minimizes the difficulties experienced in practice. This paper contains the utilities and techniques of reuses of the different kinds of waste effluents of the industrial water treatment plant in addition to the specific reuses of the post-regeneration wash waters of the Anion and MB ion-exchanger units.

디젤기관에서의 경유-메탄올 혼합유의 연소 안전성과 연소특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Combustion Stability and Characteristics for D.O - Methanol Blending Oil in Diesel Engine)

  • It has recently been reported that methanol fuel has been used in the product carrier with established duel fuel engine, which has been greatly reducing emissions of $CO_2$, NOx and SOx from the engine. However, to use methanol alone as fuel oil in a general diesel engine, design modification of cylinder head is needed because the ignition aid device or the duel fuel injection system is needed. On the other hand, only if the mixer is installed on the fuel oil supply line, diesel oil - methanol blending oil can be used as fuel oil for the diesel engine, but there is a problem of the phase separation when two fuels are mixed. In this study, diesel oil and methanol were blended compulsorily in preventing the phase separation with installing agitators and a fuel oil boost pump on fuel line of a test engine. Also, cylinder pressure and fuel consumption quantity were measured according to engine load and methanol blending ratio, and indicated mean effective pressure, heat release rate and combustion temperature obtained from the single zone combustion model were analyzed to investigate the effects of latent heat of vaporization of methanol on combustion stability and characteristics. As a result, the combustion stability and characteristics of 10% methanol blending oil are closest to the those of diesel oil, and it could be used as fuel oil in existing diesel engines without deterioration of engine performance and combustion characteristics.

전기자동차용 히트펌프의 열 부하 조건에 따른 캐빈온도 특성 (Characteristic of Cabin Temperature According to Thermal Load Condition of Heat Pump for Electric Vehicle)

  • 내연기관 자동차와 달리 전기자동차는 배터리 폐열이 부족하여 실내 난방을 위해 추가적으로 PTC 히터를 사용하고 있지만 전력소모가 큰 단점이 있다. 최근 이러한 단점을 보완할 수 있는 히트펌프 적용에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 히트펌프의 운전특성 해석을 위해 MATLAB/SIMULINK$^{(R)}$환경에서 R134a 히트펌프 모델과 캐빈 모델을 개발하였다. 모델은 여름과 겨울에서 히트펌프의 작동 특성에 따른 실내 온도변화를 나타낼 수 있으며, 모델 검증은 구성품 수준에서 응축기와 증발기의 용량 비교를 수행하였다. 또한 동일한 냉방조건에서 캐빈온도 변화 비교를 통해 캐빈 모델을 검증하였다. 해석 결과 전동압축기 소비전력은 모든 외기온도 조건에서 PTC 히터 보다 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 영하조건에서 히트펌프의 난방용량이 부족한 현상에 대해 폐열회수를 적용하여 효율적인 난방 작동을 할 수 있는 조건을 분석하였다.

LEAP 모형을 이용한 연료전지 열병합발전설비 도입에 따른 온실가스배출저감 잠재량 분석 (Study of fuel cell CHP-technology on electricity generation sector using LEAP-model)

  • 우리나라는 에너지 절약 및 온실가스 배출저감 기술 중 하나로써 소형 열병합 발전과 소형 연료전지 열병합 발전을 연구해 왔으며 정책적으로 이를 보급하려고 한다. 기존의 석탄화력발전설비, 복합화력발전설비, 석유 화력발전설비를 열병합 발전설비로 대체하는 시나리오를 작성하여 에너지소비량과 온실가스 배출량의 변화추이를 에너지 경제 모델인 LEAP (Long-range Energy Alternative Planning system)을 이용하여 정량적으로 분석하였다. 2019년을 기준으로 열병합 발전설비를 석탄화력발전설비와 교체하였을 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 6.34%가 감소하였고 복합화력발전설비와 교체하였을 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 0.8%가 증가하였으나 열병합발전설비의 열생산량을 고려해주면 배출량이 감소하는 경향을 보일 것으로 사료된다. 석유화력발전설비를 열병합발전설비로 대체할 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 0.8% 감소할 것으로 예상된다.

제강슬래그 처리 및 재활용의 최적화를 위한 분쇄 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study of Milling Properties for Optimization of Treatment and Recycling of Converter Slag)

  • 산업 폐기물 중 다량으로 발생하는 제강슬래그의 재활용을 위하여 -14/+24mesh 정도 크기의 슬래그를 미분말로 분쇄시 최적 조건을 조사하고 경제적인 분쇄조건을 확립하기 위하여 요구되는 동력을 산출하였다. 이를 위한 분쇄조건으로 ball mill의 회전속도, 분쇄시간, ball의 충진량, 시료의 충진량과 크기 등을 선정하였고 이에 대한 분쇄효율을 산출하였다. 본 연구에서는 임계회전속도의 79% 정도에 해당되는 값이 최적의 회전속도인 것으로 조사되었다. 분쇄시간에 따른 분쇄정도는 일반적으로 시간이 증가함에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났지만 분쇄 초기에 비해 분쇄가 더 진행될수록 분쇄효율은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. Ball의 충진율은 mill내부 용량의 50%인 경우에 최척의 분쇄효율을 보였고, 시료의 충진량과 크기에 따른 입도초사 실험 에서는 시료의 충진량이 적고 원시료의 크기가 작을수록 분쇄정도는 증가하였다. 위의 결과에 의해 Bond의 식을 사용하여 동력효율을 계산한 결과 분쇄시간이 길수록 그리고 회전속도가 최적인 조건에서 동력효율이 가장 크게 나타나고 있음이 관찰되었다.
