The marine leisure activities are specially increasing among the other leisure activities due to the improving of people's life quality and formation of people's values which pursuit the various life styles with the development of economy and society and operation the system of five working days per week. Among the various marine leisure activities, skin scuba diving is the mast prevalent activity, even though it doesn't have proper legal system in relation to the safety of the activity. Thus, this paper studies the various legal issues in relation to skin scuba diving to improve the safety and activation of the activity, and identifies the problems and proposes the ways of improving it.

The paper examines the determinants of employee engagement in the not-for-profit organization (NFPO) sector. A structured questionnaire survey of 205 NFPO employees in Vietnam was employed, preceded by in-depth interviews with NFPO associates and managers. After a multiple regression analysis to study the impact of five independent variables on one dependent variable, the study reveals that Work design and Work-life balance are positively and significantly associated with employee engagement. Of which, Work design is measured by the level of job fit, job autonomy, job challenge, and job meaningfulness. On the other hand, Work-life balance involves measurement aspects consisting of how reasonable the workload is and organizational support. Meanwhile, different from the business world, Leadership, Learning and Development, and Recognition do not show statistically positive impacts on employee engagement in NFPOs. Still, they are crucial back-supporting factors to ensure employee experience at work. Further, the study finds that personal growth contributes a great part to keep employees in the sector motivated. This paper brings the area of study to the forefront in an effort to benefit the practice of human resources management in NFPOs as well as support employees in the sector with a higher quality working experience.

This study aimed to suggest a cohousing plan as an alternative housing typology that could be applied to Korean farming community This study contented literature review about cohousing communities, case studies in foreign countries, survey to farmers, and finally schematic design proposal. The respondent farmers wanted tile cohousing community composed of approximately10-20 dwellings with enough common space for working and washing cloths, as well as spaces for children and elderly people. This study hopefully could contribute to improve quality of life in Korean farming communities through development of new housing typology.

Objectives: Sarcopenia is a common disease in the elderly population that causes disability, poor quality of life, and a high risk of death. In the current study, we conducted a meta-analysis to report basic knowledge about the prevalence of sarcopenia in the elderly in Korea. Methods: We searched for articles in the MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Scopus databases published until December 28, 2020. Studies investigating the prevalence of sarcopenia in elderly Koreans aged ≥65 years were included. The methodological quality of the studies was evaluated using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. Publication bias was evaluated using the Egger test and funnel plots. Results: In total, 3 studies and 2922 patients were included in the meta-analysis. All 3 studies used the European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People criteria for the diagnosis of sarcopenia. The total prevalence of sarcopenia was 13.1-14.9% in elderly men and 11.4% in elderly women. Conclusions: This meta-analysis is the first to estimate the pooled prevalence of sarcopenia in elderly Koreans, and its findings suggest that sarcopenia is common in this population. Therefore, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of sarcopenia.

The study of job satisfaction among female dentists is essential to improve the quality of their life. In this study, a job satisfaction survey of female dentists in Gwangju was performed and the factors affecting job satisfaction were examined. A survey of female dentists in Gwangju was conducted using a custom-designed and validated questionnaire which incorporated the Korean Dentist satisfaction Survey (KDSS) as well as questions regarding socio-demographics and professional characteristics. Satisfaction for each question was measured by a 5-point Likert scale. The final analysis was performed with 89 questionnaires, after excluding 3 non-response questionnaires. Analysis of the data for each group was carried out using a Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test. The reliability of the questionnaire was identified by the internal consistency of the survey using Cronbach coefficient. The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 19, SPSS Inc, Chicago, Ill, USA). The level of statistical significance was set at p = 0.05. On analyzing with use of the above mentioned method, the following findings were observed: Income, leisure time, time for self-development, and overall job satisfaction were lower than the average, especially the percentage of dissatisfaction was much higher than that of satisfaction. Satisfaction was associated with age, duration of employment, and the number of assistants. The limitations of this study are the lack of an adequate sample size, convenience sampling during extraction, the lack of questionnaire items, the limitations of quantitative research, and failure to perform measurement in the non-response group. However, female dentists can be expected to achieve a more satisfactory and enhanced working environment if the research based on the current study is followed up in an expanded target group.

This study is a conceptual analysis of Yangsaeng, which is used as a key factor for healthcare in Oriental medicine that identifies the attributes of the concept of Yangsaeng and establishes a clear definition of the term. For this, the Walker and Avant approach to conceptual analysis was employed. The antecedents included the daily routine habits required for a healthy life and reducing the risk factors in daily life by promoting physical and mental health. The results were prolonged healthy life by preventing diseases, enhanced subjective well-being, and improved quality of life. This is defined as a tool for preventing and treating diseases through positive habits in daily life and for pursuing health and quality of life. This study is a re-evaluation of existing Yangsaeng measurement tools to resolve the antecedents of Yangsaeng and proposes a need for research aimed at developing a practical, new, stand-alone tool that allows the attributes of Yangsaeng and Korean culture to be incorporated. This study is significant in that it investigates and defines the attributes that are vague and abstract and can be applied as a practical basis for nursing intervention in the nursing field at the working level.

This Paper suggested a definition of Maritime Culture and Theoretical review and groped introduction and strategies and countermeasures for expansion of systematic Maritime Culture. Maritime Culture not only enhance the quality of Citizen life but also contribute the progress of National economy increasing the quality of Culture, Turism and Environment and the expectation of it has been enlarged. It is needed to introduce and expand Maritime Culture systematically through theoretical framework suggested by this paper, and additional research may be necessary for the detailed solutions and countermeasures.

In this study, performance of a developed automatic punching machine considering the planting density of soybeans was evaluated in the case of the operation speed of 0.18-0.28 m/s. The performance demonstrated a rate of 320-500 ㎡/h, 260-400 ㎡/h, and 210-330 ㎡/h for the 0.20 m, 0.25 m, and 0.30 m soybean planting density, respectively. One hundred percent punching capacity was confirmed in 30 mm distance between the ground and the blade. Additionally, in the 50 mm distance condition, the performance of round, square, and hexagonal blades were observed in the range of 16.7-25.2%, 33.0-42.3%, and 54.5-100.0%, respectively. Above all, the hexagonal blade with a 60° edge angle had the most superior cutting quality demonstrating a smooth and soft cutting plane of the plastic.

In Modern Cities, The 'Cultural spaces or facilities' are the core of the urban activity. And it is the field of urban life which can improve the quality of life and change the human's life style. Also in Contemporary society, Cultural spaces are required to express the social and psychological activity of the city life and the diversity and function of human beings. But most of them are located in the Metropolitan area. In these days, the needs of cultural spaces and facilities in 'Medium sized-cities' are growing. And many development plans are working in practice in that cities to accede to these requirements of social, human and current of the times. They include the exhibition spaces which perform function of the field of art and culture, that have powerful and infinite potentiality of the social development. At this Point, this study suggest that 'Optimum level' of exhibition spaces as Museum and Art-gallery in Medium sized-cities. To achieve this study, two phases are proceeded as follows. First, Check the social needs of it based on theoretical inquiry of Exhibition space. Second, Focused on Medium sized-cities, through a comparison between 12 Domestic cities and 4 Japan's cities. A population of their cities is from 500,000 to 1,000,000. We can get a data for Optimum level of Exhibition space. And last, Suggest the strategies of the location and planning of Exhibition space based on Second phase.
