The staffs being charge of QI each of the hospitals with 400 beds or more responded to the questionnaire. Of the 108 hospitals eligible for inclusion in our study, 69 participated, yielding a response rate of 63.9%. Results : Based on these survey, 87.3 percent of the responding hospitals were performing QI projects and 54 percent of the hospitals had a separate department for QI activity. About 62 percent of hospitals performing QI activity (QI hospitals) had a QI manager and 58 percent had a separate budget for QI activities. Among the QI hospitals, 85 percent had cross-functional or cross-departmental teams as the major mechanisms for doing QI projects, 94 percent had one or more educational programs on QI. The level of physician's participation level for QI projects was lower than other staff(CEO, nurses and other administrators). Conclusion : The majority of the hospitals have undertaken activities in QI. • In order to improve total competitive advantages in domestic shipbuilding industry, shipyards as well as marine-parts companies achieve managerial efficiency through ERP system. But, successful ERP system implementation cases of marine-parts companies are seldom reported by characteristics of small and build-to-order industry. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze a case for ERP system implementation in marin-parts company, K Inc. Especially, this study divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stage, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stage, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. At present, the implemented ERP system is successfully operating, ERP system improve qualitative and quantitative performance. The result of study suggests some practical implications to the manager of marine-parts companies and the manager of Informatization Programs for Small and Medium Enterprises.

  • As the weapon system SW development and management manual of the DAPA, which is the regulation for the overall weapon system SW development, is revised, the level and scope of SW reliability test are upgraded to improve the reliability and quality of SW. It is a big burden for SW developers. In particular, the dynamic test requires a schedule and manpower required to implement the weapon system SW, and should be performed every time the source code changes, not just one time. In this paper, we propose a regression test automation program(VectorCast Environment Manager) that performs a dynamic test using VectorCast, a dynamic test tool, and then performs a regression test automatically by minimizing human intervention in the regression test of dynamic test due to the change of the source code.

  • The geophysical data management system was developed to meet both the increasing demands of geophysical data in the practical application of civil engineering, underground water survey, and environmental problems and needs for digital archive and quality control of geophysical data. The system for a data manager is developed under Client/Server (C/S) environment. This manager system is characterized by a relational geophysical database system using MS SQL-server, standardization of geophysical data format, the development of C/S interface program for Windows environment, and the development of transfer program module for the searched data. The system developed for a general user under the internet environment is characterized by Web service (URL:http//geophy.kigam.re.kr) and the development of plug-in module to visualize geophysical image data.

  • The purpose of this paper is to focus on the development of the arbitration system, such as the establishment of the arbitration industry and expanding the scope of arbitration fields. The solution method of arbitration differs greatly from that of the court's trial process. This can be seen in the way of autonomous conflict resolution. Therefore, the role of arbitrator is a very important function. In this sense, it seems necessary to establish a professional arbitrator system. Now the Arbitration Promotion Act has been enacted and interest in the arbitration industry is also rising. It is necessary to deal effectively with new incidents according to changes in the legal environment internationally. In order to do this, it is imperative to train professional arbitrators. A training plan for arbitration manager to assist this is now under consideration. The coming of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) technology will simply stop the uniform way of determining winners by lawsuits. Even in new companies entering new markets as well as overseas companies, assistance from arbitration experts is indispensable in order to effectively deal with international trade disputes that will develop in the future. In addition to fostering the arbitration industry, it is necessary to train experts in domestic and foreign arbitration and arbitration practitioners to provide high-quality legal services. For these human resource development measures, we will explore the subject and procedural methods. The Arbitrators Association should concentrate on these matters and be cautious when focusing on the training of arbitrators and arbitration managers through the selection process. The Arbitrators Association must strengthen the level of new education (designation / consignment). Measures must be taken in order to grant such procedures as well as subsequent steps.
