Quality assurance in the process of manufacturing high strengh bolt sets used in the frictional joints of structures in one of important concern to users as well as to manufactures. In case of occurrences of either defective or low-quality products, even if they are quite rare, some systematic means of localizing the cause-characteristics and matching to corresponding production process is necessary. Control chart of torque factor is the primary indicatir in finding defectiveness of the products. Use of correlation diagrams ofnhardness of the bolt set presents in part a way of screening the cause. Retest data of the bolt set provide additional ideas of localizing the cause, for which theoretical background is presented in this regard. A process-characteristics matrix relating the causes of low quality to the corresponding process of manufacturing, which is of prime importance for the feedback control of production, is also proposed. Finally general features of control to assure quality of the set is described.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to escape from the existing defense quality policy focused on government-led quality assurance for mass-produced items and to secure quality reliability of weapon systems through a defense quality policy paradigm shift based on designing a verification systems anchored on reliability through the enhancement of military supply quality control in the development stage, the enhancement of quality responsibility of the manufacturing contractor and other methods. Methods: For the shift to the quality-based defense quality policy, the status and the problems of the status quo are analyzed and the direction of future defense quality policy is suggested based on literature review of the concept of reliability and reliability in the field of defense, on case studies of global corporations and their quality policies, on the background on quality assurance in defense, and on case studies of quality policies in other government organizations, Results: Based on the case studies of quality policies in global corporations and other government agencies, the importance of preventive quality control from the early development stages, quality control based on the reliability of the materials and parts, and shift of the quality policy to a certification system to achieve these objectives were highlighted. Conclusion: To secure reliability of weapon system quality, the quality policy must be shifted to a system focused on reliability-based design and verification and there is a further need to enhance the operational efficiency and capacity of DTaQ based on studies and evaluation of weapon system reliability.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze quality control strengthening pilot project in development stages of weapon systems which ensures zero-defect. In order to achieve that, we propose collaboration support system between related organizations. Methods: First, we analyze how quality control methods has been developed from reviewing the preliminary study in commercial and defense industry. Then, we suggest improvement plans for quality control in defense industry and propose a pilot study which able to improve the recognized problems. Results: The results of this study ensures the participants in defense industry recognize the importance of quality control and form a consensus by sharing a case study. Finally, we propose the standardized work process by utilizing manual and manpower dispatching. Conclusion: As a result, this study clarifies the scope and role of relevant organizations to achieve the defense quality assurance in the total life cycle(TLC). Also, this paper guides the collaboration system between the relevant organization which differs from the commercial industry currently divided into development-production-quality.

품질보증의 목적은 공정의 품질을 유지하기 위하여 계통적인 오류를 최소화하는 것이다. 통계적공정관리는 2005년 이후 방사선치료분야에서도 이용되기 시작하였으며 품질보증의 패러다임을 바꾸어가고 있다. 통계적공정관리의 목적은 공정의 안정성을 관리한계 내에서 유지하며 변동의 양상도 감시하기 위한 것이다. 통계적공정관리는 방사선치료 품질보증 전 분야에 적용 가능하지만, 이를 제대로 활용하기 위해서는 통계적공정관리에 대한 지식이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 통계적공정관리의 개념을 설명하고 방사선치료분야에서 이를 활용한 연구들을 소개하였다.

Quality Management is a recent phenomenon. This is applied to products or services, with an objective to deliver high quality, reliable, worthy, enduring, product or service. The process is considered to have four main components: quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. Focusing on quality control and quality assurance leads to achieving quality management or ensures that an organization or product is consistent. In this paper, the applicable international standard for learning services and for the organization for education and training (learning service provider) is discussed and also the procedure to implement the management system.

이 연구노트에서는 KoFlux 관측지인 광릉 산림과 해남 농경지에서 관측된 에디 공분산 자료의 품질을 관리하고 보증하는 방법을 소개하였다. 자료의 품질 관리는 미기상학적/통계학적 분석을 기반으로 8 단계의 과정을 거쳐 이루어졌고 자료의 품질에 따라 5 등급으로 분리되어 표시되었다. 품질관리를 위해 사용된 프로그램과 품질 보증된 최종 자료는 KoFlux 웹사이트(http://www.koflux.org/)에서 내려 받을 수 있다.

The hourly volatile organic compounds(VOCs) concentrations between 2005 and 2008 at Bulgwang photochemical assessment monitoring station were investigated to establish a method for quality assurance and quality control(QA/QC) procedure. Systematic error, erratic error, and random error, which was manifested by outlier and highly fluctuated data, were checked and removed. About 17.3% of the raw data were excluded according to the proposed QA/QC procedure. After QA/QC, relative standard deviation for representing 15 species concentrations decreased from 94.7-548.0% to 63.4-125.8%, implying the QA/QC procedure is proper. For further evaluation about the adequacy of QA/QC procedure, principal components analysis(PCA) was carried out. When the data after QA/QC procedure was used for PCA, the extracted principal components were different from the result from the raw data and could logically explain the major emission sources(gasoline vapor, vehicle exhaust, and solvent usage). The QA/QC procedure based on the concept of errors is inferred to proper to be applied on VOCs. However, an additional QA/QC step considering the relationship between species in the atmosphere needs to be further considered.

지퍼제조는 중소기업형 산업의 하나이다. 고난도의 정밀 공정이 요구되는 제조이다. 따라서 지퍼의 제조에는 엄격한 품질관리가 요구된다. 나아가서는 고객에게 품질에 대한 확고한 확신을 주고 시장 개척을 위해 품질보증이 요구된다. 지퍼의 품질보증을 제대로 하려면 고난도의 정밀한 공정을 정확하게 관리하기 위한 제반의 품질관리 기법들을 종합적으로 활용함은 물론 체계적인 전사적 품질관리(Total Quality Control)가 필요하다. 또한 효과적인 전사적인 품질관리를 시행하기 위해서는 근로자의 교육이 필요하며 한국 지퍼 총생산량의 30％를 생산하는 Y 지퍼사는 전사적인 품질관리 교육은 물론 품질분임조(Quality Circle)등을 활용하여 지퍼의 품질관리 및 품질보증에 성공했다.
