디지털 이동통신망 환경 하에서 마스킹 효과를 이용한 객관적 음질 평가 척도 (An Objective Speech Quality Measure using Masking Effect under Digital Mobile Telephone Network Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동전화망 환경 하에서의 음성의 통화품질 평가를 위해 마스킹 문턱치를 이용하는 객관적 음질평가법을 제안하고 실험을 통하여 그 유효성을 확인하였다. 현재까지 잘 알려진 BSD(Bark Spectral Distortion), PSQM(Perceptual Speech Quality Measure)등의 성능을 먼저 분석하였다. 그 결과, MOS(Mean Opinion Score)와의 상관성이 이동통신 환경하에서 문헌상에 보고된 결과보다 성능이 저하됨을 확인하였다. 이동통신 환경하에서 보다 효율적인 객관적 음질평가척도 개발을 위하여 제안된 방법에서는 인간의 심리음향학적 마스킹 현상을 이용하였고, 성능 평가시 비교대상인 주관적 음질척도로는 DMOS(Degradation MOS)를 사용하였다. 디지털 이동통신망에서 수집된 음성 데이터에 대한 성능평가실험을 수행한 결과, BSD와PSQM 같은 기존의 척도들에 비하여 평균 4%의 상관성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

  • A measure for service quality of university dormitory is developed to gain a better understanding of the quality issues that impact on students' experiences and to improve service quality. Literature survey, thorough discussion with staff members and a pilot test are utilized to elicit attributes of service quality. Factor analysis is used to group the service quality attributes into dimensions. The resulting measure is consisted of 6 dimensions; competence, attitude, facility, amenity, security and discipline. Importance-performance analysis is utilized to verify which factors to be focused on with high Priority to improve dormitory service.

항공사 서비스 품질 측정방법의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of Measuring Air Liners′ Service Quality)

  • There have been academic debates upon which measure is more desirable in measuring service qualify between SERVQUAL and SERVPERF. In addition, Korean air lines industry is rapidly growing due to the increase of Koren family income and globalization. This study tried to contribute to both academic and practical issues. This study compared SERVQUAL and SERVPERF measures to determine which is superior to measure service quality in Korean air lines industry. Data was collected from two airliners' customers of Korea. According to the results of confirmatory factor analyses, regression analyses and analyses of goodness of fit, SERVPERF appears to be better in measuring service quality in Korean air lines industry than SERVQUAL. We suggest that SERVPERF be used to measure service quality in Korean air lines industry.

Measuring of the Perceptibility and Acceptability in Various Color Quality Measures

  • Perceptibility and acceptability are the most often used threshold units in the field of color science. The former refers to a just perceptible difference and the latter evokes a tolerable color difference. Such thresholds can be very significant to color quality control processes in the printing industry and should be defined in quality measure units. Optical density (OD) and color difference models are usually utilized as color quality measures and have been provided in a considerable number of commercial measuring devices such as spectrophotometers. However, their merits and traits are far less understood in the literature. The present study intends to evaluate performance of those color quality measures including the OD and widely known color difference models, e.g. ${\Delta}E{^*}_{ab}$, ${\Delta}E_{CMC(l:c)}$ and ${\Delta}E{^*}_{00}$. A set of psychophysical assessments were carried out in order to accumulate the perceptibility and acceptability thresholds data, and their central trend was compared with the color quality measure estimates.

  • This study examines closely the relationship between beauty art service quality and value. And satisfaction and purchase action that they do perceive to customers who have beauty art service company's service use experience. Moreover, this study was achieved purposely to present service raising plan of good quality to beauty art company managers and business employees. First, to investigate the concept of beauty art service quality and special quality was with doctrines that have been presented through a virtue aspect to achieve this study. Moreover, the wave and beauty art service, human service relativity is a let down unlike manufacture enterprise. Further more, beauty art service by complex composition of existence and nonexistence style is sold, and it could be known by having personality consumed at the same time production. The concept of quality about beauty art service and quality that became perceived through virtue study of concept and measurement about value. Therefor, value was deduced, and could deduce measurement, the linear measure that is applied to measure this. Large majority virtue study found is measuring quality of service to 22 articles on PZB's theory, and this study corrects measurement, the linear measure that is applied in Morritt's study that is based in PZB matrix and supplements and attempted measurement to 22 items. The result measurement dimension is consisted of functional quality, technological quality, physical quality dimension. To measure this through virtue study about value that become perceive, could confirm that all expense and beauty art companies which the customer is paid, connect with offering general quality of service. Therefor, through measurement, 2 dimension was deduced by monetary value and the non-monetary value.

Quality Factor: 교수연구업적평가를 위한 새로운 계량 지표 (Quality Factor: A new Bibliometric Measure for Assessing the Quality of Faculty Research Performance)

  • 본 연구는 교수의 연구업적을 보다 다면적으로 측정하기 위한 합리적 방법을 고안하기 위하여 새로운 논문계량지표인 Quality Factor를 개발하였다. Quality Factor는 총 논문수, 피인용수, h-index, Impact Factor를 이용하여 수치를 도출한다. 새로 개발한 지표인 Quality Factor와 다양한 지표(논문 수, Impact Factor, 피인용수, h-index, g-index)간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여, 본 연구는 국내 문헌정보학과 교수 189명의 14년간(2001-2014)의 학술논문데이터를 바탕으로 그들의 지표별(논문 수, Impact Factor, 피인용수) 순위를 산출하고 지표들 간에 스피어만 순위상관관계를 도출하였다. 그 결과, Quality Factor는 전체적으로 피인용 수의 영향을 주로 받는 지표(피인용수, h-index, g-index)와 유사한 상관관계를 보였으나, 산점도에서 Quality Factor가 타 지표에 비하여 분산된 분포를 나타내면서 개별식별성이 높은 것으로 드러났으며 군집 분할 분석에서도 타 지표들과 상이한 상관관계를 보여주었다.

패션 교육 서비스 품질에 관한 이론적 고찰 (Theoretical Examination of the Quality of Fashion Education Services)

  • The present study, first, reviews theoretically previous studies about the concept and quality of services as well as tools to measure the quality. Second, it reviews theoretically previous studies about the concept and quality of special services as well as tools to measure the quality. According to the results of reviewing previous studies on service quality, it is considered that the variance among several researchers concerning the measurements of service quality is affected significantly by factors such as the procedures of data collection and analyses utilized in the studies. In addition, the fact that dimensions are different, or some dimensions are not independent, is highly likely to be based on the unique characteristics of business categories, in addition to research procedures. Accordingly, when measuring service quality in future studies, it may be desirable to adapt measuring tools partially for the characteristics of each service category, and to generalize the adjusted tools over the specific category. Especially studies on the quality of special service have been carried out in limited scope so far. Thus, it is required to develop and refine comprehensive and appropriate criteria and detailed questions to measure the quality of fashion education service. Furthermore, studies are necessary with regard to relations among relevant factors such as customers' satisfaction and perception on education service quality after they experience the services.

QFD Model for Quality Performance Self-assessment

  • How to measure Quality Performance (QP) or excellence performance in organizations is very important for improving the quality of an organization's products and services. This paper takes Quality Function Deployment (QFD) as a useful tool to identify the key characteristics of quality performance and measure the influence factors on quality performance. Most national quality awards provide a framework of the criteria to show the essential elements of an organization's quality performance and get the Quality Performance Score (QPS) by self-assessment using the criteria. By means of these criteria, especially, the criteria of China Quality Award (CQA), a measurable indicator system for quality performance is set up. A four-phase QFD model of assessment for quality performance is developed. This QFD model not only presents the most important efforts for the deployment of the measurable indicators of quality performance, but also takes great advantage of evaluating the quality performance and obtaining the quality performance score. The measurable indicator hierarchy of quality performance is formed and its implementation method for assessment quality performance is described in this paper.

파라미터설계법의 다특성 성능척도 산출방법 (A Performance Measure for Parameter Design with Several Quality Characteristics)

  • In parameter design introduced by Taguchi, we analyze a performance measure, so called SN ratio. The SN ratio is a function of the expected loss due to the variation of quality characteristic. In this paper, an easy way for developing performance measures is presented, which can be used to control several quality characteristics simultaneously in parameter design. To develop such multivariate performance measures, the transformation method of the expected loss and combining techniques are employed. And the analysis of real empirical data for an application of the proposed method is also presented.

주파수 도메인 정보를 이용한 영상의 Sharpness 평가 방법 (Sharpness Measure Based on the Frequency Domain Information)

  • 본 논문에서는 영상의 선명도를 영상의 주파수 도메인 정보를 이용하여 측정하는 새로운 무기준법 화질 평가 방법을 제안한다. 기존에, 영상에 대한 선명도는 일반적으로 영상의 픽셀 값을 이용하여 측정되었다. 제안된 방법은 기존 방법과 달리 영상에 대한 선명도를 주파수 도메인 정보를 이용하여 측정하였다. 주파수 도메인에서 선명도를 평가하기 위하여 주어진 영상은 가우시안 저주파 필터를 사용하여 열화 되고, 열화 영상과 주어진 영상의 주파수 영역 계수를 사용하여 새로운 선명도 평가 함수를 정의하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능 검증은 TID2008 화질 평가 데이터베이스를 사용하여 이루어졌다. 기존 무기준법 영상 선명도 평가 방법과 비교하였을 때, 제안된 선명도 평가 방법은 주관적 화질 점수와 보다 높은 상관도를 보였다.
