$TiO_2$ 광촉매 졸(Sol)의 벽지코팅에 의한 실내공기질에서의 포름알데히드 분해 (Degradation of Formaldehyde in Indoor Air Quality by $TiO_2$ Sol Coated Wall Paper)

  • 하루 중 대부분의 시간을 실내에서 보내는 생활패턴으로 인해 실내오염물질의 영향에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 오염물질은 다양한 실내장식물로부터 배출되고 있으며 실내에서 생활하는 시간이 많기 때문에 비록 저농도로 배출된다 하더라도 그 영향은 간과될 수 없을 것이다. 하지만 국내 현실은 실내오염물질에 대한 제도적 기반이 미흡하며 실내오염물질이 발생될 경우 저감 방안에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 실내오염물질의 하나인 포름알데히드를 대상으로 광촉매와 인공자외선을 사용하여 실내에서의 저감특성을 파악하였으며 또한 인공자외선의 대안으로 실내에서 형광등을 켜고 생활하는 시간이 많은 점을 고려하여 광촉매/형광등의 실험을 통해 실내 환경정화에 형광등의 잠재적인 사용가능성을 파악하고자 하였다. 실험결과 광촉매량, 반응면적이 증가할수록 포름알데히드의 제거율도 증가하였다. 광원으로 $UV_{254}$ 램프를 사용할 때가 형광등을 사용할 때보다 효과적이었으나 형광등을 사용한 경우도 일정수준의 포름알데히드의 제거가 가능하였으며 반응시간이 증가할수록 제거율은 증가하기 때문에 실내에서 형광등을 켜고 생활하는 시간이 길다는 점을 고려할 때 형광등을 이용할 경우도 실내환경에서 포름알데히드의 제거가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Effects of water physico-chemical parameters on tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) growth in earthen ponds in Teso North Sub-County, Busia County

  • Small-scale fish farmers in developing countries are faced with challenges owing to their limited information on aquaculture management. Nile tilapia farmers in Teso North Sub-County recorded lower yields than expected in 2009 despite having been provided with required inputs. Water quality was suspected to be the key factor responsible for the low yields. This study sought to assess the effects of earthen pond water physico-chemical parameters on the growth of Nile tilapia in six earthen fish ponds under semi-intensive culture system in Teso North Sub-County. The study was longitudinal in nature with pond water and fish being the units of analysis. Systematic sampling was used to select five ponds while a control pond was purposively selected based on its previously high harvest. Four ponds were fed by surface flow and two by underground water. Each pond was fertilized and stocked with 900 fry of averagely 1.4 g and 4.4 cm. Physico-chemical parameters were measured in-situ using a multi-parameter probe. Sixty fish samples were randomly obtained from each pond fortnightly for four months using a 10 mm mesh size and measured, weighed and returned into the pond. Mean range of physico-chemical parameters were: dissolved oxygen (DO) 4.86-10.53 mg/l, temperature $24-26^{\circ}C$, pH 6.1-8.3, conductivity $35-87{\mu}S/cm$ and ammonia 0.01-0.3 mg/l. Temperature (p = 0.012) and conductivity (p = 0.0001) levels varied significantly between ponds. Overall Specific Growth Rate ranged between 1.8% (0.1692 g/day) and 3.8% (1.9 g/day). Ammonia, DO and pH in the ponds were within the optimal levels for growth of tilapia, while temperature and conductivity were below optimal levels. As temperature and DO increased, growth rate of tilapia increased. However, increase in conductivity, pH and ammonia decreased fish growth rate. Temperature and DO ranging between 27 and $30^{\circ}C$ and 5-23 mg/l, respectively, and SGR of 3.8%/day and above are recommended for higher productivity.

동자개 치어의 아질산 급성 독성 (Acute Toxicity of Nitrite on Juvenile Banded Catfish(Pseudobagurus fulvidraco))

  • Juvenile banded catfish(Pseudobagurus fulvidraco, mean length $10.4{\pm}0.37cm$ and mean weight $14.5{\pm}0.46g$) were exposed to several nitrite(${NO_2}^-$) concentrations for 96h at pH levels of $6.18{\pm}0.54$, $6.5{\pm}0.30$ and $7.07{\pm}0.22$. The result showed that cumulative mortalities of fish to ${NO_2}^-$ levels of 12.4, 19.8, 33.9 and 53.6 mg/L at pH levels of $6.18{\pm}0.54$ were 20, 25, 40 and 85%, respectively. At pH $6.5{\pm}0.54$, mortalities to ${NO_2}^-$ 22.4, 36.4, 45.3 and 63.2 mg/L were 25, 35, 50 and 100%, respectively. At pH $7.07{\pm}0.22$, mortalities to ${NO_2}^-$ 25.5, 45.7, 56.3 and 66.4 mg/L were 0, 55, 70 and 100%, respectively. The 96h-$LC_{50}$(median lethal concentration, $LC_{50}$) of fish to several ${NO_2}^-$ concentrations at pH levels of $6.18{\pm}0.54$, $6.5{\pm}0.30$ and $7.07{\pm}0.22$ were assessed in these experiments. 96h-$LC_{50}$ at pH levels of $6.18{\pm}0.54$, $6.5{\pm}0.30$ and $7.07{\pm}0.22$ were 32.68, 40.49 and 45.85 mg/L, respectively. It indicated that acute toxicity of ${NO_2}^-$ to juvenile banded catfish increased with low levels of pH and lengthening of exposure time to ${NO_2}^-$. In particular, smaller fish(mean weight $14.5{\pm}0.46g$) were more sensitive to ${NO_2}^-$ than larger fish(mean weight $81.7{\pm}1.42g$; not published). The 96h-$LC_{50}$ of juvenile banded catfish to ${NO_2}^-$ would be primary guideline for water quality management in the intensive culture system such as RAS and BFT.

농촌지역 수출 시행단계 농가의 수출 경험에 관한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Research on the Rural Farmers' Exporting Experience in Stage of Conducting Export)

  • As an essential means to the exploitation of new demands, the export of agri-food has the price-supporting effect on the domestic agri-food and its expansion can be a good way to increase farms' income. Of course, to enhance farms' income under the liberalization of the market, it is necessary to have countermeasures considering various factors. To this end, the study understood the experiences of farms doing exports and looked into ways to improve them by reviewing their motivations to export, difficulties, requirements, etc. In this context, the study conducted the purposive sampling among tomato export farmhouses in Jeongseon-gun in the export enforcement phase and executed the theme analysis. The research findings and suggestions are as follows. First, in order to enhance the level of commercialization of Jeongseon-gun tomatoes and reinforce the trade bargaining power, it is necessary to form the consensus on policy and make the scaling of the site based on the strong organization power. To this end, it requires the active role of agricultural cooperatives that take a big portion of distribution in the site and distribute its profits directly to farmhouses. Second, it is necessary to set clear target markets for Jeongseon-gun tomato export farms and set sales strategies for each target market. That is, in order to expand the export of Jeongseon-gun tomatoes, after clarifying local sales and export sales, export farmhouses should focus on quality management and secure the quantity for export. Third, to expand the export to Japan which already has the foundation for the export of Korean tomatoes, and to new export countries of China, Russia, etc., it is necessary to set the 'Two-Track Strategies for Export Market (particular item for focus and particular area for focus)' through the building of network of tomato export areas in Gangwon-do. In conclusion, to expand the export of Jeongseon-gun tomatoes, agricultural cooperatives and leaders together should build the strong organizational power with farmhouses and secure the quantities for export. And, according to the 'Two-Track Strategies for Export Market (particular item for focus and particular area for focus)', export infrastructure and export operational system should be built and to do so, the solidarity of tomato export farmhouses in Gangwon area should precede.

  • The current rural conditions are undergoing the change from the past production-intensive structure to an integral and complex one of producing, processing, selling, touring and lodging owing to the changes of life-style, consumption trend and social environments. The rural area is developing into a community of rural tourism villages to grow into one management system along with the assistance of the government's various supporting projects. Through this, the rural designing has got to play a significant role as one of the factors of the enhancement of competitiveness and the increase of income. Therefore, those previous studies on the variety and possibility of rural development are being employed for the researches which are to develop techniques of branding, marketing and packaging. In particular, the researches for VI (Village Identity), BI (Brand Identity) and designs of landscaping, packaging of agricultural specialties and display stores, which definitely shows that the importance of rural designing, is being paid a lot more attention to. Thus, this study has verified the site commercialization and its effect by developing some practical designing with the focus of package design at rural tourism villages. The Okgye Village in Yoncheon was selected for study subject based on the result of status investigation. This study has analyzed such problems as lack of village identity, non-description of items and their indispensible marks which were seen their designs of village and packaging. The colors of major items and the village image being substituted into the image scale of IRI color were estimated so that the appropriate colors might be selected, along with which the shapes of major items were decided to be motif for the village symbol and design to be created. The designs of such major items as grains, greens and sauces were created with the consideration of the easiness of loading, the continuity of using and the aesthetics. For grains, those outer boxes which are possible for set-packaging and small-sized packaging have been developed. For greens were developed the boxes with the structure of the permeability for the persisten't quality as well as the possibility for packaging small amount. In case of sauces, those outer-boxes equipped with fixing tray were made with the transport-convenience taken into consideration. The sticker-label designs for all those three were also developed which stand for the village identity and are conveniently used in each farm family. When this development was applied at the sites, it was found that the satisfaction and reliability of consumers as well as the satisfaction of farmers were raised along with the increase by more than 30% after the improvement.

신변보호업무 발전방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on development of personal protection service)

  • 본 연구는 신변보호업무경비원들이 현재 인지하고 있는 문제점들을 바탕으로 신변보호업무의 발전방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 신변보호업무에 15년 이상 종사하고 있는 현장전문가 7명에게 면담조사를 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 신변보호업무를 몸소 수행하고 있는 신변보호업무경비원들은 신변보호업무의 발전방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 현재의 경비원 신임교육 제도는 신변보호업무와 관련된 교과목으로 재편성하여 40시간 정도의 교육프로그램으로 개선이 요구된다. 둘째, 신변보호업무경비원 직무교육도 국가에서 관할하는 교육기관을 통하여 3개월에 8시간의 교육프로그램으로 전환하여 시행하는 것이 적합하다. 셋째, 신변보호업무경비원들에게는 실무에서 필요로 하는 교육프로그램과 능력 있고 전문적인 강사진을 통하여 분야별로 양질의 교육이 진행되어져야 한다. 넷째, 경비업법에 규정되어 있는 집단민원현장의 범위에 행사 및 문화관련 현장을 포함시켜서 일괄적인 규제를 하는 것은 개정되어져야 할 것이다. 다섯째, 민간경비업체와 경찰서로간의 인식전환이 필요하고, 경찰과 민간경비업체가 공동으로 참여하는 전문 관리/감독기관이 신설되어질 필요가 있다. 여섯째, 한국경비협회에 각 업무별 전문가로 구성되는 분과위원회를 구성한다거나, 신변보호업무와 관련한 발전방안과 신변보호업무 경비원들의 권익보호를 할 수 있는 한국신변보호협회의 창설이 요구되어진다.

강우시 한강유역에서의 비점오염원 유출 특성과 토지이용도와의 관계 (Characteristics of Nonpoint Source Pollution and Relationship between Land Use and Nutrient Concentrations in the Han River Watershed)

  • Nonpoint source pollution has become a concern for water quality in the Han River system, especially during the high runoff events during the monsoon season. The patterns in nonpoint source runoff the relationships with land use, rainfall intensity, and stream nutrients concentrations were surveyed in 19 streams in the Han River watershed. The results show that the magnitude of NPS inputs of nutrients and sediment in the Han River watershed are of a serious concern. In the South Han River watershed, event mean concentrations (EMC) for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), suspended sediment (SS), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), dissolved total phosphorus (DTP), total nitrogen (TN) Nitrate ($NO_3$-N) and total phosphorus (TP) were $1.94mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;251mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;2.75mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;0.076mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;2.82mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;2.40mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ and $0.232mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$, respectively. In the North Han River watershed, EMCs for BOD, SS, DOC, DTP, TN, $NO_3$-N and TP were $1.34mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;172mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;2.63mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;0.032mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;1.97mg{\cdot}L^{-1},\;1.55mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ and $0.148mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$, respectively. The specific export coefficients of nutrient and sediments were much higher than those of other reports. Our study also found that the proportion of agricultural field area was significantly correlated with the EMCs for nutrients. Therefore, efforts to reduce NPS loading must focus on agricultural practices in the watershed. The relationships between land use and nutrient and sediment export found in this study can be used to derive estimates of runoff coefficients for agricultural field and as input data for modeling works and to develop total maximum daily load and best management practices in the Han River watershed.

밭 비점오염저감을 위한 초생대 적정 초종 선정 (Selection of Appropiate Plant Species of VFS (Vegetative Filter Strip) for Reducing NPS Pollution of Uplands)

  • 본 연구는 밭경지 현장실험을 통해 다양한 초생대 초종을 적용하여 밭의 비점오염저감효과 분석 및 초생대에 적용 가능한 적합한 초종을 선정하고자 하였다. 경북 군위군에 위치한 면적 $1,500m^2$, 경사 5%의 밭경지를 선정하여 시험포를 조성하였으며, 시험포내에는 대조구 1개와 초생대 처리구 6개로 구성된 총 7개의 시험구를 조성하였다. 츄파, 피, 바랭이, 잔디, 톨페스큐, 켄터키블루그라스를 포함하는 6개의 초종을 선정하여 초생대 실험을 수행하였다. 현장실험 결과 대조구 대비 초생대의 유출저감효과는 6.1~77.8%였으며, 비점오염저감효과는 TS의 경우 15.6~90.3%, T-P의 경우 49.9~96.6%, T-N의 경우 6.7~91.1%를 나타내었다. 전체 오염인자 중에 초생대로 인해 전반적으로 높은 비점오염저감 효과를 나타낸 것은 TS, T-P, T-N, SS인 반면, BOD, TOC와 $NO_3^-$는 낮은 저감효과를 보였다. 비점오염저감 및 유지관리측면에서 가장 유리한 초생대 초종은 잔디로 평가되었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 우리나라 농촌지역 밭 비점오염저감을 위한 관리기법으로 초생대가 효과적으로 활용가능하리라 사료되며, 보다 장기적이고 다각적인 현장실험을 통해 초생대 현장적용을 위한 설계 지침서 개발이 요구된다.

청소년기의 건강증진과 학교보건교육의 발전방향 (Adolescent Health Promotion and Development of School Health Education)

  • Adolescent health is considered to contribute to health promotion in the home and community in the near future as well as individual health. However, adolescent health has been neglected from education field because of competitive school education focused on the university entrance examination That's why I suggest in this study that we should pay much more attention to adolescent health condition and try to make It better, in terms of man-power development and life-health promotion for nation development The purposes of this study are as follows First, to look into a variety of adolescent health problems Second, to find out the situation and problems of current adolescent health promotion and school health education Third, to make an effort to find, based on the current situation, various developments of adolescent health promotion and school health education in terms of practical, political and environmental change There are used study methods as adolescent-related, school heath-related literature review and anlysis of statistical data The results and suggestions are as follows Teenagers have a great variey of health problems including most Important physical, mental and social developments Recently, chronic diseases, emotional problems, health-risk behaviors linked With adolescents are on increase The complicated disorders of physical, mental, social health rather than paricular aspects of health or health-behavior problems influence adolescent health problems adolescence is regarded as the period when most health-related behaviors are formed. Therefore, adolescent health promotion would he assured by developing the ability of controlling multi-dimensional health determinants in the early stage. Health promotion is a positive concept that each individual, family and community makes real efforts to improve their health To achive this, we need health educational, organizational, political and environmental supports. Adolescent health promotion in Korea has been systematically treated in the category of school health Current school health services have had lots of systemic, constitutional, administrative and educational flaws Accordingly, I'm concerned that we can afford to accept a variety of adolescent health needs However, I would say that if were not to make those flaws better, it's certain that Korean national competitive power and the quality of the lives of most Koreans Will he threatened someday We have to develop Comprehensive School Health Crriculum(CSHC) and set up its standards to Improve adolescent health. CSHC is an organizational and costant process. CSHC means an Important part of overall curriculums. In addition, I could say that it's an Important school health education acivity including current school health services-health care service and school health environment. In conclusion, in order to develop CSHC, we require school nurse's role changes, establishment and management of intergrated subject of health education, striking revision of school health law(or legislation of school health promotion law), reorganization of administration system, big changes in curriculum for school health educators.

국가 인력양성사업 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석: 에너지인력양성사업을 대상으로 (Factors Affecting the Performance of National Human Resource Development Projects: Focusing Energy HRD Projects)

  • 본 연구는 에너지 인력양성사업을 중심으로 국가의 R&D 사업의 성과를 분석하고, 성과지표 개선방안을 찾는 데 주목적이 있다. 주요 분석대상은 2010년 이래 지원된 86개 에너지인력양성사업이다. 에너지인력양성사업의 성과지표는 연구역량이나 배출인원, 산학연계 정도, 고용창출 등과 관련되어 있는데 KPI index로 지칭되는 11개 항목의 인력양성 성과지표를 많이 활용해 분석하였다. 과제별로 제시된 목표치의 달성 수준을 분석한 결과 평균적으로 달성도가 가장 높은 지수는 기업연계율이며, 달성도가 가장 낮은 지수는 참여기업 취업인원인 것으로 나타났다. 기업연계활동의 핵심 고용창출효과를 살펴본 결과 인턴십의 횟수가 많을수록 에너지 분야 고용창출효과가 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 전문가강의의 수가 많을수록 참여기업 취업인원이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과는 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 첫째, 사업운영 과정에 대한 지표인 기업연계 활동 자체보다 이를 통해 나타나는 취업 등 핵심 성과에 더 초점을 맞춘 성과지표 재설계와 관리가 필요하다. 둘째, 사업의 질적 성과를 표현할 수 있는 지표와 실제적인 기업연계를 표현할 수 있는 성과지표를 추가하는 방안을 고려할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 정책적 성과목표 및 주요 목표 집단 등에 따라 차별화된 성과관리가 필요하다. 마지막으로 성과지표의 정비와 더불어 정보입력 및 축적 시스템 개선이 필요하다.
