무기체계 성능보장을 위한 품질관리 제도개선 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Quality Management System to Improve Weapon System Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish effective quality control activities to maintain proper operation rates and improve the performance of research and development weapon systems. Quality control improvement measures suitable for the actual conditions of our military were identified by comparing the operational methods and advantages/disadvantages of the domestic quality control systems Defense Quality Management System and Defense Quality mark with those of the systems employed in the US(QPL and QML). In order to ensure the reliability of the weapon system, it is imperative to operate a design-oriented self-quality management system through manufacturing-oriented government-led inspection and to expand and reorganize the certification system divided into manufacturing items and companies.

  • Factors influencing the success or failure of information systems9IS) have been discussed in many literes. However, little thertical development or empirical research has examined effectiveness of information systems in health center. This study evaluates several model that contribute to IS success in bealth center. In this study, we propose a process model that exhibits several variables influence one after another. These can be classified into six different dimensions. These inclube system aspect, invidual effect. The system aspect is classified by system quality, information quality and service quality. On individual and organizational aspect, this study uses computer self-efficacy and support of top management. The results of this study are as follows: according to multiple regression analysis of user satisfaction, information quality and support of top management are statistically significant influence on user satisfaction. System quality and service quality are a partially significant influence on user satisfaction. Hypothesis 5, proposing that computer self-efficacy would relate positively to user satisfaction, ws not supported by the questionnaire results. Based on these results, information quality and support of top management are very important variables for IS success.

Improving the Quality of Customer Service of Electrical Power Supply using an Integrated Outage Management System

  • An Integrated Outage Management System (IOMS) is a utility owned, centralized information system. Using the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) methodology, the IOMS integrates different databases and components of outage management systems to improve the quality of service of electrical power to customers. This paper describes the development of an IOMS and its related utility functionality. The design considerations, salient features, component integration, functional aspects, and implementation issues of the IOMS are discussed. Evidence shows that the IOMS implementation would result in improving the overall quality of electric power supply and effective outage management significantly.

  • 최근 정보기술(IT)의 발전에 힘입어 품질관리 정보를 통합하여 그 활용의 정도를 극대화하려는 노력이 대형 종합 건설회사를 중심으로 여러 방면에서 이루어지고 있으며, 이에 건설업계는 품질정보를 통합 관리하는 시스템의 구축에 많은 관심과 노력을 기울이고 있다. 몇몇 앞서가는 업체들은 시스템의 구축을 완료하여 현장에 적용시키는 단계에 있으나 이는 몇몇 대형 종합 건설업체에만 국한되어 있다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 품질 관리 정보 시스템의 개발 및 도입을 위한 평가모델을 구축하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 대형 종합 건설회사들의 품질관리 정보시스템의 기능별 특징 및 제반 사항을 살펴보고 결과중심의 시스템과 프로세스 중심의 시스템으로 분류하여 그 성향들을 분석하여 보았다.

  • The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of quality management system constructed by ISO 9001 certificates through BSC perspectives. Evaluation of quality management system based on BSC framework can consider short-term financial performance as well as nonfinancial performance characteristics, which will derive future financial results. This results show that QMS has an indirect effect on business performance through quality performance and customer satisfaction, which are internal business process and customer perspective, rather than have direct effects on financial performance. Finally we suggest implications of this study and future research direction.

  • This paper is related to the effect analysis of certification of ISO 9000 Quality Management System. We collect and analyze the field data of certification costs and profit from companies that are located at southeast area in Korea. The effect analysis is based on the type and scale of companies. We use defective rate and inventory turnover rate as the criterion of positive effect after certification. As a result, we may conclude that the certification of ISO Quality Management System gives companies positive effects.

  • Currently, in the course of introducing rolling stocks, RAMS standard and management by system engineering method apply to rolling stock system. Technical elements and results applied in system introduction phase are just used in acquisition stage, and these are not applied to the standard in railway site. Therefore, it is difficult to apply to standardized technology and quality assurance measure. Due to the establishment of the EU, railway operation system is internationalized and the international railway standards are being discussed in various ways. In addition, standardization is expanded from manufacture to operation and maintenance. It is to provide consistent standard in quality, cost calculation of maintenance technology, maintenance technology and quality assurance in case of international railway safety incidents. Therefore, this study is to find technology, quality and cost management model to be used for choosing railway-operation guidance by considering how technologies & quality have changed in system life cycle, compared with estimated standards, based on the technologies & quality-related result in the process of getting new rolling stocks and management guidance for operation & maintenance process.

  • This paper concerns an expert system for reliability management. The system includes data base, life data analysis, life testing sampling plans and system operation. PROLOG is used as a language with dBASE III+ for the data base management system and C for calculations and graphics. This system analyzing the data and selecting an appropriate sampling plan can be implemented on an IBM PC 386 or a higher level machine.

  • Purpose: This study is to search for the core factors of improving business performance of small and medium venture manufacturing company and to do an in-depth analysis of the relations with management performance through systematic approach and to provide implications of importance of the management for the improvement factors for the domestic small and medium venture manufacturing company. Methods: The data have been analyzed via the regression and path analysis using AMOS. Results: this study is absorptive capacity affects the business performance of manufacturing companies. absorptive capacity has the role of the parameters of the Quality Management System and business performance. Conclusion: This study suggests how to run absorptive capacity according to type of management performance, and how to enhance Quality Management System to efficiently promote absorptive capacity in order to grow of management performance. also, this study shows a way to enlarge the valuation standard for management and customer performance reflecting the growth potential of an enterprise in circumstance where the valuation standard focuses on financial performance.

해운기업의 품질경영시스템이 직무만족, 조직몰입, 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Quality Management Systems on the Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Management Performance in Shipping Companies)

  • This study aims to investigate the effect of quality management system in the shipping companies on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, management performance. The quality management system is divided into operational accountability, employee management, crewman management, ship management, and sailing management based on previous study. Targets of survey are companies which are registered in Korean ship owner's association and Korea ship manager's association as of 2011. A total of 236 questionnaires are collected from shipping companies in Basan and Kyongnam from October 15 through November 5 in 2011. The result shows that operational accountability and employee management of quality management systems are mightily important in the shipping company. In the future research, based on analysis of shipping company's characteristics, the study for shipping companies which are perceived by customers could be conducted.
