A performance evaluation model of an R&D module in the quality management system for M Company Is constructed using QFD. The company produces telecommunication devices and employs the performance evaluation model based on ISO 9000 family. However, the model has some problems, one of them is that all check items are regarded as equally important Customer requirements are gathered from internal customers and QFD is utilized to obtain weights for each check item.

Nowadays most companies are required to acquire the quality assurance system for their survival. It is essential to improvement company's competitive power that Certification of Quality Assurance System but there are many problems. To analysis the effects of ISO 9000 series/QS-9000 QA systems to the Domestic Company Quality Improvement as well as quality consciousness, data has been surveyed form quality assurance engineers who have work on certification activities. The data is analyzed using relevant tabulations of five scale or paired t test method in order to compare level of quality management of pre-certification with that of post-certification. It is analyzed in two parts which are qualitative effects and quality maturity grid. Also, to analysis for the bottlenecks and problems the data is analyzed using frequency analysis method.

The AS 9100 aerospace standard has become the aerospace quality management system standard agreed to, instead of ISO 9001 and MIL-Q-9858A by international aerospace manufacturing companies. In this paper correlative requirements of each of the standards are compared and analyzed. Then the evolutionary concept and its direction is proposed as a guide to participate in the preparation and establishment of current aerospace quality management systems. This study is applicable to the future as well as present aerospace manufacturing activities throughout the world.

In order to have competitive advantage for the business firms, companies need to raise competitiveness through the effective distribution and practical use of management resources along with strategic management of integration of existing management systems such as quality and business environment. Upon resulting of questionnaires to expert group, it is definite to have an integration of quality and environment system for the better efficiency of firms, and also recommended to have either a mixture of two systems or build up new integration system through uniform of two systems. The effects of the integrated system can be summarized as an increase of company image, efficiency of system operation, simplification of system management, synergy effects on the integration.

In this era of globally competitive world market, many business firms have been using ISO 9000 quality management system, whose principles are leadership, customer focus, people involvement, etc., which are expected and desired to be attained for the various long/short term goals of the business firms. This paper studies whether and how those principles are implemented in the areas of service, manufacturing, etc., and researches the regression relations between business firm's performance and those principles. Using hypothesis testing, we found and showed results which can be referenced for the higher performance of business firms and those can be added to the pool of knowledge about the ISO principles implementation in service and manufacturing industries.

This study investigated the management environment of medium and small business by examining the role of medium and small business in national economics, the change in management condition, and the problems in quality and technique. Also we analyzed problems in the past quality control activity of our medium and small business, and examined the driving direction and introduction method of QM. And to understand the effect of manager's concern in quality management to observe the quality system before and after introduction of QM. A target for this investigation is the medium and small business which has introduced QM through ISO 9000.

Corporations are faced with the key strategic task of adopting a comprehensive management system of a new paradigm in order to enhance their products' quality, safety, and reliability, as well as to minimize the cost of quality. The purpose of this paper is to present a methodology that can be used by corporations to ensure a product's reliability, safety, and maintainability, with minimal costs, by measuring dependability levels and conducting DEA analysis. The methodology will be a way for corporations to adopt an optimal dependability management system based on a quality management system of ISO 9001:2000 standards.

ISO 9001, quality management system, is widely known as advancing internal efficiency and productivity in various industry. As a result, the number of companies that have adopted ISO 9001's certification have been increasing continuously year by year since ISO 9000' family standard was published in 1987s. This fact shows that a lot of businesses are trying to get the accreditation for improving the competitiveness of quality. The purpose of this study is to present that ISO 9001's certification motives affect to the requirement's implementation and show that the execution of requirements influences on management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 96 survey sheets and inspected twenty assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factors of certification motive influence on the requirement's implementation except resources management. Second, the two elements of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and product realization, have an important effect on the operational performance and financial performance considerably in the companies that choose the internal motive. Finally, the two requisites of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and measurement, analysis and improvement, affect to the operational performance and financial performance significantly in the businesses that select the external motive. Based on the results, the companies that choose the internal motive have a good performance to execute the ISO 9001 requirements. Also, to implement the requirements of ISO 9001 is helpful for the companies to produce the operational and financial performance.
