  • As Industrialization gets more and more advanced, human technological medical apparatus for dentistry has been developed. Such a medical apparatus have to let precision revolution and torque control facilitate. Consequently, Development of Micro hand-piece with strong durability should be required. Moreover, It's also very important to evaluate performance of such a Micro hand-piece, Evaluation of Mechanical property of Material and ANOVA have been known as useful methods in the field of Quality Evaluation. For Verification of Quality Evaluation, It has been evaluated by One-way layout ANOVA based on the data of Surface Roughness Test. Anyhow, This test has been respectively carried out by 3 kinds of Test and Superior performance has appeared in the Test result.

  • Exterior insulation board in cast-in-place concrete form system could reduce construction period and improve quality in apartment construction. However, the method is progressed with insulation and concrete frame works at the same time, then risk is increased in duration control and quality management. Therefore, this paper analyzed risk factors through FMEA method. We found that the key risk factors delaying schedule was insulation material that soaked in the rain and quality defects on the insulation material joint. Based on this research, the risk management approach should be developed for improvement of method activation.

  • In the rolling of steel or non-steel metal the most important quality aspect are thickness and flatness. In thickness, there are two important factors. One of them is getting close with accurate goal, nominal gauge, the other is minimize gauge bandwidth, the variation in gauge. In this thesis, we proposed the fuzzy model AGC to minimize gauge variation along the length, developed the rolling mill dynamic model using the math mode of the rolling mill process and the rolling model related with the variety character of the rolling material. We compared the gauge control efficiency of fuzzy model AGC and PI mass flow AGC. We have got a simulation result, that the exit gauge variation of PI mass flow AGC was 2 micron and fuzzy model AGC was 1.2 micron at 1200mpm of rolling speed when each controller was rolling 5 micron of material that is the entry gauge variation.

  • Among several polishing techniques for micro structures, polishing process using magnetorheological(MR) fluid has advantages in the finishing process of 3-D micro structures because abrasives in the fluid can reach surfaces with complex feature and play their role. Although many researchers have been trying to reveal its polishing mechanism of the MR polishing, it has not been successful because in-situ measurement of state variables is difficult and process parameters are complex. In fact, one of the key factors for applying process control methodologies, such as Run-to-Run control, is the measuring and monitoring of slurry quality because the process strongly depends on the fluid property. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain consistent slurry quality to guarantee the process repeatability. The proposed equipment achieves the longer life cycle of MR fluid and reduces the variability of products. A new method to measure the material removal rate in MRF polishing process is also proposed and discussed.

한약재 품질관리체계 선진화 모형에 관한 연구 (Studies on the advanced model for quality control system of oriental medicine)

  • In this study, advanced model for quality control of oriental medicine and methods for practice was suggested through literature inspection, analysis of foreign system such as China and Japan, survey analysis on the current system, quality analysis of randomly selected oriental medicine samples, and intensive discussions among oriental medicine specialists 1. The quality of oriental medicine should be consistently controlled by Ministry of Health and Welfare form its cultivation or import to its circulation process to final consumer 2. All oriental medicines should be circulated as standardized goods which should be marked by lot numbers. The packing material and Packing size should be liberalized. The qualify should be differentialized though free competition among makers. 3. Realistic standards for pesticide, heavy metal and decolorant should be established though long-term monitoring process according to each oriental medicine's origin, therapeutic part, cultivation area, harvesting time, and cultivation method. 4. Ministry of Health and Welfare should educate oriental medicine's quality control personnel regularly or on demand, and establish specialist pool. Ministry of Health and Welfare should also establish oriental medicine information system to provide informations about quality of domestic or foreign oriental medicinal raw materials. 5. The government should provide information about foreign of oriental medicine market to importers. Quality of imported oriental medicine should be inspected before its customs clearance, and all imported oriental medicine should be circulated by standardized oriental medicine makers. 6. Oriental medicine's pharmacopoeia should be Published to provide quality standard of oriental medicine and improve it.

PCM을 장착한 열전소자 냉각시스템의 저장 중 피망의 품질 평가 (Quality evaluations of bell pepper in cold system combined with TEM (thermoelectric materials) and PCM (phase change material))

  • 본 연구에서는 신선식품의 품질유통 시스템 구축을 위하여 Peltier 효과를 기반으로 한 열전소자 배송시스템에 잠열재를 탑재한 이동식 저온 컨테이너를 농산물의 유통에 적용하고자 하였다. 실험 방법은 개발된 열전소자 배송시스템 및 개발잠열재를 이용한 이동식 저온 컨테이너에 저장 중 피망의 품질을 평가하여 대조구인 EPS 박스의 피망과 비교 평가하였다. 피망의 저장 중 품질측정 결과, 중량 감소량은 증가하였으나 수분함량은 저장기간동안 90.96~94.43% 수준을 유지하였다. 비타민 C 함량은 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며 처리구(BPT-5, 10)의 경우 대조구(BPC)에 비해 감소율이 낮게 나타났다. 색도 측정 결과 ${\Delta}E$ 값은 저장기간동안 증가하였으며 21일 때 BPT-5의 ${\Delta}E$ 값은 5.05인데 반해 BPC의 값은 41.8로 크게 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 총균수 또한 저장 21일째 대조구에 비해 BPT-5 처리구가 약 1 log scale 낮은 수준을 나타내어 연구에서 개발한 수배송 용기가 품질 유지에 효과적인 것으로 판단된다. 전체적인 결과를 종합하였을 때, 본 연구를 위하여 개발된 이동식 저온 컨테이너가 피망의 저장성 증가에 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 하지만 이동식 저온 컨테이너의 개발은 초기단계이며 잠열재의 무게로 인해 하중부담이 크다는 단점을 보완하기 위해 더 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Coal Bottom Ash Application on Park Site Soil and Its Impacts on Turfgrass Growth and Soil Quality

  • Bottom ash (BA) has different macro- and micronutrients such as B, Mo, Fe, Ca, and Mg, providing useful resources for plant growth and soil quality. The objective of this study was to evaluate the applicability of artificial top-soil treated with BA in park area as a vegetation base material, especially for turfgrass growth. Collected BA was mixed with peat moss and clay at the ratio of 70:10:20 (w/w). In order to evaluate the park quality and turfgrass growth in park area, the artificial soil was applied with BA along with the control or without BA. Result showed that exchangeable K and P were increased by $11.4mg\;kg^{-1}$ and $163mg\;kg^{-1}$, respectively, compared to the control soil when the artificial soil was treated with BA. Microbial population and enzyme activity (Acid-phosphatase, APA) in artificial soil having BA also increased as 2 times and 10%, respectively, compared to the control soil. Comparing turfgrass growth and yield between general soil and artificial soil, about 2 times higher plant yield (fresh weight) was observed as artificial soil was applied comparing to general soil. Furthermore, nutrient concentration in turfgrass was averaged as 0.440% for $P_2O_5$, 0.456% for CaO, 1.198% for $K_2O$ and 0.188% for MgO that all values are higher than general soil (0.323% for $P_2O_5$, 0.416% for CaO, 0.610% for $K_2O$ and 0.173% for MgO). Application of BA can be useful for vegetation base material in park site.

조습제 적용 박물관 전시케이스의 동적 습도조절 특성 해석 (Analysis of Dynamic Humidity Control Characteristics of Museum Showcase with Adsorption Material)

  • This study was undertaken to judge the quality of air-tightened exhibition cases and to predict the dynamic variation of the relative humidity in the showcase. We performed a lot of experiments for the a few conditions and we numerically calculated the air change rate and the relative humidity in the showcase with the Artsorb under the same conditions. In all cases we confirmed that the numerical results about the relative humidity in the showcase had a good agreement with the experimental ones. Through the experiments of humidity control, we found out that the adsorption efficiency is varied with the location and the amount of the Artsorb. And the numerical results showed that the adsorption material is always needed to keep on the appropriate humidity condition in the showcase even though any kind of the showcases are used.

  • 이 논문에서는 포스트텐션 구조물에 적용되는 그라우팅 품질확보를 위한 재료개선 및 실험과정을 기술하였다. 그라우팅이란 강연선이 삽입된 덕트를 시멘트물질로 채우는 공정이다. 국내에서는 아직 그라우팅의 품질과 포스트텐션 구조물의 내구성에 대한 관계가 인식되지 않아 적절한 품질관리에 어려움이 있다. 국내표준시험법은 강연선에 의한 심지효과(wick effect)를 고려하지 않기 때문에 시공 시 발생할 수 있는 재료분리량을 평가하기 어렵다. 따라서 현 품질기준을 만족하는 그라우트를 사용하더라도, 시공 시 과다한 불리딩 수나 재료수축이 발생할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 그라우트에 관련된 해외기준과 표준시험법을 조사하여 국내기준 및 표준시험법과 비교한 후 해외기준에 준하는 성능을 나타낼 수 있는 그라우트 구성성분비 및 혼화제를 제시하여 보았다. 개선된 그라우트의 성능을 해외표준시험법에 따라 일반적으로 적용되고 있는 그라우트재와 비교하였으며 PC빔의 덕트형상을 고려한 목업시험을 통하여 흐름유형(flow pattern) 및 충전성능을 관찰하였다. 이 실험을 통하여 그라우팅의 성능은 재료특성에 의하여 높은 영향을 받으며 적용 대상의 기하학적 형상에 따라 상이한 충전특성을 가진다는 것 알 수 있었다.

중소기업을 위한 품질정보시스템 구축 사례 (A Case Study of Establishing a Quality Information System for a Small Sized Company)

  • For small sized companies in Korea, it is crucial to have a systematic way of collecting and storing quality data, and extracting relevant information when necessary. This paper Is concerned with developing a quality information system which is mainly focused on processing quality inspection data, converting the data into meaningful quality information, and illustrating a case study of a small sized company in Gyeongnam province. First, we review the current quality Inspection system and reorganize a quality system which is more efficient than the current one. Second, incoming material, process, and product inspection modules are developed. Finally, a statistical process control module is integrated to see the manufacturing process behavior over time.
