Preliminary Design of Structural Health Monitoring for High-Rise Buildings

  • The purpose of structural health monitoring is to evaluate structural behavior due to various external loads through installation of appropriate measurement. Accordingly, a guideline for monitoring standards is necessary to evaluate the safety and performance of a structure. This paper introduces preliminary design of SHM for high-rise buildings, which is the stage creating a guideline. As for preliminary design of SHM, first step is to calculate the displacement and member force through structural analysis. After that, limitations or qualifications are proposed for management. Secondly, based on the results from first step, issues related monitoring such as monitoring method, measurement type, or installation location are determined. This method leads building managers to reasonably define the structural safety over the whole life cycle. Furthermore, this experience contributes to development of SHM forward and it is expected to be useful for other types of structures as well such as spatial structures or irregular buildings.

부산 지역 특급호텔 조리사들의 직무 만족과 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Satisfaction and Consciousness of Cooks at Deluxe Hotels in Busan)

  • This study was intended for getting information on the job satisfaction and consciousness of 305 cooks working at deluxe hotels in Busan to improve culinary arts training and an efficient man power control program. The results were as follows. Most of the cooks were males(67.2%) and less than 40 years old(85.6%), 59.5% were cooks, 67.0% were graduated from college and 74.8% earned less than 1.5 million won in a month. 39.5% had not changed their workplace. The male cooks had transferred to some other workplace more than 2 times than female ones. The higher their age, job classification and monthly income were, the more frequently they transferred their workplace. The frequency of job transfer was the most significant factor in the age of $30{\sim}39$. 37.0% of the cooks were unsatisfied with their pay. They preferred the more highly ranked hotels(36.5%) and being independent(26.0%) if transferring workplace. They thought devotion was the most important factor for good cooks. They thought efforts, skills and human relationships were important for developing cooks. They answered pay suitable for their work was an important factor to improve the food enterprise. They thought Japanese and Korean cooking had the best prospect, and qualifications for a good cook were sincerity, efforts, careers and skills.

건강가정사 역량강화 코칭 교육프로그램 개발 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Development of a Coaching Education Program Enhancing the Capability Training of a Healthy Family Specialist)

  • Healthy family specialists, who must be equipped with comprehensive and specific knowledge on the health of families with an extensive span of duty, should receive continued education for enhancing their capabilities. In this context, this study will focus on a coaching program that brings excellent result in helping healthy family specialists to set up a vision, exercising leadership and improve their personal relations, etc. with a focus on the potential and possibility of persons and organizations. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the present condition of the existing reeducation program for healthy family specialists conducted by the Central Healthy Family Support Center was grasped. This was done through an analysis on the educational programs for nurturing professional coaches executed by many educational institutions in an effort to propose the coaching education program for enhancing the capabilities of healthy family specialists. The contents related to instruction, time, qualifications, etc. proposed in the model developed through the considered educational program could be used in the future for the education of healthy family specialists so that they may enhance their capabilities.

  • 본 연구에서는 육군에 근무하는 의무부사관 80명과 의무부사관과 재학생 80명을 대상으로 응급구조 의무부사관에 대한 필요로 하는 능력과 지식 등을 알아보고 응급구조의무부사관의 자질을 갖추기 위한 교육목표 수립과 핵심직무를 선정하고 교과목 도출을 위한 프로세스에 의해 국가비상사태시 신속 대응할 수 있는 응급구조 의무부사관인력 양성 프로그램을 개발 하였다.

  • To work in the fashion industry which has entered the digital age, and in specialization and high-industrialization age, one needs to attain various skills required for the qualifications of a fashion specialist. For these, qualification certificate systems are enacted to nurture specialized technical personnel, and among these, a jacket pattern is selected from the practical examination of Western-style dress skill prepared for nurturing specialist who can design, cut, and sew women's clothing, to be compared and analyzed against the existing printed practical textbooks, technical books of making clothes which used as college textbooks, and local documents of theoretical study documents. The methodology of the research is to select 8 samples for the study, analyze the identity with the design, and then cut applying the identical dimensions and compare the measurements, and make the clothes using each cutting methods, and inspect to find the consistency with the design and made statistical analysis. As a result, we designed and made research patterns, and suggested a jacket pattern design to patterns simply that suits the design fast.

일본의 도서관인의 전문성에 대한 고민과 그 해답 (Worries and Solution to Japanese Librarians' Professionalism)

  • 사서직의 전문성에 대한 고민은 오랫동안 지속되고 있으며 최근에는 교육과정 및 자격제도의 개선을 통해 전문성을 확보하려는 논의도 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 사서직의 전문성 확보를 위해 교과과정을 개편하고 전문성 평가 제도를 도입하는 등의 구체적이고 체계적인 움직임이 이루어지고 있는 일본 사례에 주목하여 우리에게 주는 시사점을 찾으려하였다. 첫째, 일본의 사서관련 자격제도와 교육제도에 대해 분석하였다. 둘째, 전문성 확보를 위한 일본의 도서관정보학 분야의 연구결과와 도서관 현장의 요구를 정리하였다. 셋째, 이러한 연구결과와 현장의 요구를 바탕으로 최근에 변화된 사서교육과정과 전문성 평가 제도에 대해 구체적으로 살펴보고 장 단점에 대해 논의하였다.

A Basic Study on Maritime English Education and the Need for Raising the Instructor Profile

  • English is the accepted common working language of the maritime world and being competent in its use is essential to the safety of ships, their crews and the marine environment. This paper is a response to the urgent need to find a suitable solution to the problem of providing maritime students with quality instruction in Maritime English. This paper will show what type of English instructor is best suited to help cadets have at least a basic grasp of Maritime English communication, with a view to possessing the level required by STCW 95 within the shortest time. It presents ways that maritime institutes can develop their own qualified or 'marinated' English Instructors and what qualifications should be required. It is concluded that by further essential research, interviews and questionnaires etc., the language needs of the university and shipping industry in Korea as a whole can be clearly verified. By examining such data, the present language education systems can be evaluated as to efficacy and relevance, allowing the establishment and implementation of 'best practice' within the training institute. This will result in making excellent informed decisions and choices about how best to improve the language competencies of graduating cadets, thereby creating the catalyst for the success of future seafarers whilst raising the image of the institute and Korean shipping worldwide.

대학도서관의 주제전문사서에 대한 이용자 인식제고방안에 관한 연구 (A Study of Reconsideration for Users in the Subject-Special Librarians of the University Libraries)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 오늘날 주제전문사서에 대한 연구가 구체적으로 진행되고 있고, 적지않은 대학도서관에서 주제전문사서를 두어 운영하고 있는 시점에서, 실제 이용자가 주제전문사서에 대한 인지, 필요성, 유용성 등을 인식하고 이를 활용함으로서 이용자의 교육과 연구에 많은 도움이 된다는 사실을 알 수 있도록 하는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 주제전문사서의 역할 및 운영현황을 살펴보고 표본도서관을 선정하여, 도서관을 이용하는 실제 이용자들의 인식을 조사, 분석하였다. 또한, 이용자가 요구하는 대학도서관 주제전문사서의 자질과 이용자인식을 향상시키는 방안을 조사하였다. 그리하여 이를 기반으로 대학도서관 주제전문사서에 대한 실제적인 이용자인식제고방안을 모색하였다.

효율적인 OTP 기반의 인증 프로토콜 (Authentication Protocol based on Efficient OTP)

  • 패스워드 기반의 프로토콜은 패스워드가 가지는 제약으로 인한 공격에 대하여 안전해야 할 뿐 아니라 사용자의 작업량을 줄이기 위한 효율성도 매우 중요한 요건이다. 패스워드를 기반으로 하는 사용자 인증 프로토콜은 사용자들이 쉽게 기억할 수 있는 패스워드를 사용하기 때문에 대부분의 경우에 패스워드 추측공격에 취약한 문제점이 있다. S/KEY 시스템의 문제점을 개선한 새로운 메커니즘을 송유진 등이 제안하였다. 송유진 등이 제안한 프로토콜은 등록과정에서 문제점이 있고 악의적인 목적을 갖는 있는 서버에 의해 사용자의 정보를 악용할 수 있다. 이러한 문제점이 개선된 효율적인 OTP 기반의 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다.

주제전문사서 현황 및 인식조사 연구 (The Current State of and Needs for Subject Specialist Librarians in Korea)

  • 대학도서관 서비스의 전문화 추세, 주제 분야별, 직능별 도서관의 본격적인 출범에 따라 해당 분야의 주제전문 지식과 실무를 겸비한 주제전문사서의 교육과 자격에 대한 제도화의 필요성이 본격적으로 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 도서관 현장의 주제전문서비스 실태를 조사하고 전담인력의 교육배경 및 직무경력 등 현황분석을 실시하여 주제전문사서의 인력수급 및 수요전망을 분석하며, 나아가 국내실정에 부합하는 자격제도 운영방안을 모색하고자 하였다.
