향상된 자격 프로그램(AQP)의 국내 적용 방안 (Application of AQP(Advanced Qualification Program) to Korea)

  • Most aircraft accidents are attributed to crew error, but traditional training programs focus on individual training and evaluation. So, FAA developed innovative training and qualification programs that incorporate the most recent advances in training methods and techniques. AQP(Advanced Qualification Program) is focus on crew and individual performance in both training and evaluation. The primary goal of AQP is to achieve the highest possible standard of individual and crew performance. Nowaday, a lot of Airlines of US and Europe are managing aircrew qualification with AQP or ATQP. This paper proposed government's organization, documents, personnel and education to apply AQP to Korea, as well as domestic airlines available application of AQP.

A Study on the Regulation of Civil Flight Simulator

  • In Korea, the regulation is MOLIT Notice 2018-290, Guidance for Approval of Synthetic Flight Trainer as Flight Simulator and Flight Training Device. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) categorizes FSTD (Flight Simulation Training Device) into FFS (Full Flight Simulator) and FTD (Flight Training Device), according to its level. Additional categories for regulation are airplane and helicopter, depending on the type of aircraft. In this study, the objective tests for the handling quality of the FAA and Korean regulations were compared and analyzed. In QPS (Qualification Performance Standard), related test titles, flight conditions, and tolerance limits were analyzed for the handling quality. Based on this study, recommendations on amendments to the regulation was presented.

승강장 안전발판 시스템의 내구성 평가 (Durability Evaluation of Platform Safety Step System)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate durability of platform safety step system in railway. Method: We performed finite element analysis & durability analysis of platform safety step system with VPD (Virtual Product Development) techniques and examined the durability standard & qualification life through the rig test during no failure test time in reliability qualification test. We continued to test 1 million cycles in KRS (Korea Railway Standard) for system's robust design performance. Result: FEM analysis results are 14.9MPa & 14.7MPa of pin-joint, pivot and durability analysis result is above 1 million cycles. we calculated theoretically no failure test time 855,000 cycles and through the 1 million cycles durability rig test in KRS standard we confirmed product quality. Conclusion: This platform safety step system was designed very safe in terms of a mechanical strength & durability.

  • The materials applied to the aircraft fuselage, parts, and components must be verified by relative authorities in accordance with the procedures set by the airworthiness authority to achieve the aircraft type certification. There are no examples of domestic composite materials which were verified in order to be applied to aircraft structure. In this study, the composite material certification system of NCAMP, an American composite material standard certification organization, was reviewed and used as the fundamentals of the first aerospace composite material certification system in ROK(Fig 2,8). Also updated material certification documents were developed and confirmed by material certification engineers and inspectors. This aerospace composite material qualification system is intended to modernize the material certification system for AAM(Advanced Air Mobility) as well as aircraft and to enhance the understanding of related technicians and inspectors.

모의비행훈련장치용 조종반력시스템의 자동-QTG 구현 (Auto Qualification Test Guide of Control Loading System for Flight Simulation Training Device)

  • Flight simulators are crucial devices for aircraft piloting training and simulation, requiring regular inspections to maintain performance and operational quality. This study explores the development of an automated inspection system for flight simulators to automate quality inspections of control loading systems (CLS). While quality inspection of the control loading system (CLS) is essential for flight simulators, manual inspections are common practice. To address this, we developed an Auto Qualification Test Guide (Auto QTG) using artificial control logic and sensor data and applied it to the militarily simulator. Experimental results demonstrate that Auto QTG successfully automates quality inspections of CLS, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. This automated inspection system is expected to contribute to improving the operation and maintenance of flight simulators.

3U 큐브위성 표준 플랫폼에 기반한 한누리 5호 개발 및 검증 (KAUSAT-5 Development and Verification based on 3U Cubesat Standard Platform)

  • 본 연구에서는 3U 큐브위성의 표준 플랫폼을 기반으로 한누리 5호 위성을 개발하고 이를 검증하였다. 표준 플랫폼의 기계시스템 설계에서는 초소형 부품 및 서브시스템 기능/성능을 초소형 PCB에 집적 및 소형화하도록 하고, 다양한 탑재체를 수용하도록 전기적 능력을 극대화한다. 한누리 5호는 지구저궤도(LEO)에서 운용하는 3U 크기의 큐브위성으로 적외선 카메라를 이용한 지구관측임무와 가이거뮬러 튜브로 우주방사선 측정을 하는 과학임무를 수행한다. 또한, 자체 개발한 소형 가변속제어모멘트자이로(VSCMG)와 퍼지로직 기반의 MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) 등의 부품(장치)들에 대한 기술검증도 포함한다. 한누리 5호의 검증을 위해 한누리 5호 위성체계의 ETB 시험, 기능시험 및 인증(Qualification)과 인수(Acceptance) 수준의 환경시험을 수행하였고 이들 시험결과를 제시하였다.

Flight Simulation Training Device Operating Standards for MPL Training Programs in South Korea

  • The Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) is a new pilot qualification introduced by ICAO to train co-pilots for transport aircraft based on efficient and stable competency to respond to changes in the operating environment and technology. ICAO and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) require a minimum flight of 240 hours for MPL qualification training, and allow the use of flight simulation training devices (FSTDs) for most of the training, specifying the performance requirements for FSTDs. As South Korea is also preparing for the operation of the MPL training program, it is essential to establish the operating standards for FSTDs required for MPL training. This study aims to identify the international standards for FSTDs related to MPL training, and to compare them with the current operating standards for FSTDs in South Korea for presenting a standard (draft) that can be used when introducing domestic MPL training programs in the future.

  • 이 연구는 국내외 도서관의 직무사례를 분석한 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 국내 도서관의 아동서비스 직무를 분석하고 표준모형을 제안한 후속연구이다. 이를 위하여 공공도서관과 아동도서관을 대상으로 직무에 대한 인식도를 조사 분석한 다음에 아동서비스를 강화하기 위한 표준 직무모형(중요성, 난이도, 전문성, 수행요건)을 제안하였다. 또한 표준 직무모형의 실천성을 화보하기 위한 아동사서의 전문성 제고와 자격제도화 방안을 제시하였다.

내화충전구조 인정제도의 성능기준 및 등급분류 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Performance Standard and Classification for the Firestop Accreditation System)

  • The fire compartments with fire-resistant construction are installed in the principal structural parts of a building in order to reduce damage in the event of a building fire. As a fire may spread through a crack in the fire compartment, the firestop with secured performance is used according to the procedure, methods, and standards specified in the detailed operation guideline. According to the current detailed operation guideline, vertical members (wall penetration) and horizontal members (floor penetration) are classified into different categories respective to each other for the classification of the firestop. Therefore, an accreditation applicant must apply for the performance test for each structure even if the wall and the floor have the same structure. Also, Grade T is used for the firestop that penetrates the fire compartment. However, in the case of foreign countries, the use of Grade F for the firestop is allowed even if it penetrates the fire compartment. The result of the precedent studies also showed that there was a significantly low possibility of fire to spread even if Grade F was applied for a metallic duct that penetrated the fire compartment. In this study, the improved scheme for the classification and performance standard of firestops was presented by analyzing the results of precedent studies regarding the firestop and domestic and overseas firestop qualification systems.

원전용 솔레노이드 밸브의 기기검증 절차 및 방법 (Procedure and Method of Equipment Qualification for Solenoid-Operated Valves Used in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • 원자력발전소 용 솔레노이드 밸브의 국산화에 필수 과정인 기기검증 기술을 개발하기 위해 관련 규정을 분석하고, 시험절차 및 방법, 시험조건, 시험장치 및 허용기준 등을 구체화하였다. 솔레노이드 밸브의 기기검증 규격은 법규, 가이드, 규정 등의 순으로 계층화되어 있으며, 시험기기와 시험항목에 따라 규정이 세분화되어 있다. 세부 규정인 IEEE를 분석한 결과 기기검증 시험은 크게 기능시험, 일반환경시험 및 사고시험으로 구분되어 있는데, 일반환경시험과 사고시험을 통해 발전소 환경과 동일한 조건에서 솔레노이드 밸브를 노화시킨 후 기능시험에서 노화된 밸브의 성능을 확인하는 방식으로 검증시험을 수행하도록 구성되어 있었다. 본 논문에서 제시한 솔레노이드 밸브의 기기검증 시험절차와 방법은 기기검증 수행자뿐만 아니라 밸브 제조사에게 매우 유용한 기술 자료가 될 것으로 판단된다.
