What Ubiquitous means "being or existing anywhere, anytime"in Latin, which is, in other words, the users are able to access the network no matter where they are, what kind of network or computer terminals they use. This paper focuses on the implementation of hardware system. The first part of the sytem is the sensor node which transmits the sensor data from node to ARM11 platform through the Zigbee network wirelessly. The other part of the system is the ARM11 platform which receives and displays the sensor data. ARM11 platform is sink node. The ARM11 platform is based on ARM11 architecture and ported with Linux OS. Qtopia is used as Window Manager in order to make applications. The highly efficient ARM11 processor, S3C6400 MPC is the main part of the ARM11 platform.

PC users could experience some inconvenience when they use their PC that was physically connected to network printers shared by other People in the network due to the overload. This paper shows how to resolve this kind of overload problem and established the embedded printer system based on embedded Linux system which performs the printer server in order for any users in the of ice to do printing work more smoothly via current network. It's own capabilities and functions were verified throughout the various tests in practical environment.

IT839 프로젝트 시행에 따라 유비쿼터스 사회를 만들기 위해 임베디드 시스템과 같은 소형 시스템이 대두되고있다. 과거 임베디드 시스템은 통신 및 제어분야에 주로 사용하였으나 현재는 홈네트워크 분야로 확대 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템간의 연결을 통하여 소규모 망을 구성하고 실시간으로 접근 가능한 통신 프로그램을 구현하였다. 시스템 구현을 위해 PXA255 CPU가 내장된 XHYPER255B 보드에 임베디드 리눅스 및 OT기반으로 만든 통신 프로그램을 포팅하였으며 홈네트워크 시스템에 범용 시스템이 아닌, 임베디드 시스템이 적용 가능함을 테스트하여 겯과를 도출하였다.

In this paper we has implemented a tour guide terminal using the embedded linux. The implemented terminal can locate its position using GPS interface and display the sightseeing information of the current location. With view of this implementation results, we confirmed the possibility of embedded linux terminal as a tour guide PDA. The realtime update of sightseeing information using a mobile communication functionality will be included in our future works.

The existing patient monitoring system when the patient want own information. The patient confirm information through the medical institution. But the patient monitoring system based on the U-Healthcare, the patient always confirms own information through the mobile device including rfid reader. The patient need RFID middleware design to provide wanting service when the RFID reader read patient's tag information. The RFID middleware is consisted of RFID module, ARM processor and RS-232 interface. The RFID module is used to be inputted user information and RS-232 interface pass information by RFID middleware. Also, This system is embodied by specific patient monitoring system using embedded exclusive use ARM processor. In this paper introduces concept and action principle of RFID middleware and embodied patient monitoring system that use Qt.
