  • Objectives : This paper is written to find the meaning of Left & Right Tan pulse at Cun, Guan and Chi area under pathological situation at Yangjiaomai(陽蹻脈), Daimai(帶脈) & Yinjiaomai(陰蹻脈) through Qikoujiudaomai Diagnosis of Nine places of three-dimensional division(⼨⼝, ⼨關尺, 浮·中·沈按). Methods : In terms of Qikoujiudaomai, the position to diagnosis the Yangjiaomai, Daimai & Yinjiaomai is Cun·Gua n·Chi position and the pulse is Left & Right Tan pulse. This is to find the meaning of Left & Right Tan pulse Results : Yangjiaomai pulse, Daimai & Yinjiaomai are closely related to pathological situation. By finding the meaning of Qikoujiudaomai, we can use acupuncture & moxibustion treatment and medicine more precisely(Yangjiaomai ⦷○○, Daimai ○⦷○, Yinjiaomai ○○⦷). Conclusion : Qibing, a pathological condition caused by xieqi leaking from twelve meridians into eight extra meridians, can be diagnosed with Qikoujiudaomai and be treated with Herbal formula study and Acupuncture & Moxibustion study.

  • Objectives : In this thesis we researched Qikooujiudaomai(氣口九道脈) which is one of pulse diagnosis method recorded in Maijing(脈經). Methods : We studied relativity of Shierjingmai(十二經脈) & Qijingbamai(奇經八脈), and different assignment of Shierjingmai(十二經脈) & Anzhenfa(按診f法) of Qikoumai(氣口脈), Liubuding-weimaizhenfa(六部定位脈診法) and Qikoujiudaomai(氣口九道脈), Shierjingmai(十二經脈) for the principle of Qijingbamai(奇經八脈) pulse diagnosis method, Qikooujiudaomai(氣口九道脈). Results : 1. Qikoujiudaomai(氣口九道脈) applied Qikoumai(氣口脈), Sambujiuhoujin(三部九候診) of $\ll$Nanjing Shiebanan(難經 券十八難)$\gg$. 2. Interpreting the diagnostic sense of 'Nei(內) Wai(外)' word in Qikoujiudaomai (氣口九道脈) recored in $\ll$Maijing(脈經) Juanshi(卷十) Shoujiantu(手檢圖)$\gg$ as Fuan(浮按) Chenan(沈按)corresponds with Qikoumai(氣口脈), Sanbujiuhouzhen(三部九候診) which accepeted Sanbujiuhouzhen(三部九候診) of $\ll$Su Wen(素間) San Bu Jiu Hou Lun(三部九候論)$\gg$. 3. The pulse shape of Qikoujiudaomai(氣口九道脈) does not appear independently unless the disease at Qijingbamai(奇經八脈) exist. and when one disease take sick, the pulse shape apears as Qishi(氣質).

  • Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to find the corresponding pathological situation of the Renmai(任脈), Dumai(督脈), and Chongmai(衝脈) at the Cun(寸), Guan(關), Chi(尺) pulse positions using the Qikoujiudaomai diagnostic method in order to find the pathological pattern of the Eight Extra Meridians. The pulse positions are divided into nine parts, using a three dimensional surface-middle-bottom concept. Methods : Relevant contents in classical texts such as the Maijing, Qijingbamaikao, Zabingyuanliuxizhu, Maiyijianmo were examined, along with previous studies on the topic. The findings were that the Renmai, Dumai, Chongmai examination of the Qikoujiudaomai manifested as floating, tight, firm patterns in the Cun, Guan, Chi positions. Results & Conclusions : n terms of the Renmai, the converging and fast Qi manifested in the three positions as a tight pattern; in the Dumai, the extended and scattering Qi manifested in the three positions as a floating pattern; in the Chongmai, the excessive, solid and full Qi manifested in the three positions as a firm pattern. Once the pathological qi overflows in the 12 meridians, disease happens in the Eight Extra Meridians. As such, disease in the Renmai, Dumai, Chongmai were connected to the main meridians as three branches from one root. Through this study, it could be concluded that diagnosis and acupuncture treatment through the Qikoujiudaomai method is possible.

A Meaning of the Tan Pulse(彈脈) in the Qikoujiudaomai(氣口九道脈) Method for Examining the Eight Extra Meridians(奇經八脈) Pulse -Focusing on the Belt Pulse(帶脈)- (기경팔맥(奇經八脈)의 맥진법(脈診法)인 기구구도맥(氣口九道脈)에 나타난 탄맥(彈脈)의 의미에 관한 고찰 - 대맥(帶脈)을 중심으로 -)

  • Objectives : This paper is to find the meaning of Tan pulse in Qikooujiudamai Diagnosis, Methods : In terms of Qikooujiudamai, the position to diagnose the Intermittent Pulse is Kwan(關) position and the pulse is Tan(彈) pulse. To find the meaning of Tan pulse, the symptoms of Intermittent pulse were analyzed. Then the symptoms were analyzed in terms of both Qikooujiudamai Diagnosis and 28-pulse diagnosis to find the correlation. Results & Conclusions : The Tan pulse at Kwan position is related to Hyen(弦), Kin(緊), Hwal(滑), Dan(短) pulse in 28-pulse diagnosis. The symptom of disease of Intermittent pulse's diagnosis is mostly concluded to those 4 pulses. Qikooujiudamai is the diagnosis for acupucture treatment, but with 28-pulse diagnosis, it can be developed to usage of medicine.
