  • Let $R={\oplus}_{{\alpha}{\in}{\Gamma}}R_{\alpha}$ be an integral domain graded by an arbitrary torsionless grading monoid ${\Gamma}$, ${\bar{R}}$ be the integral closure of R, H be the set of nonzero homogeneous elements of R, C(f) be the fractional ideal of R generated by the homogeneous components of $f{\in}R_H$, and $N(H)=\{f{\in}R{\mid}C(f)_v=R\}$. Let $R_H$ be a UFD. We say that a nonzero prime ideal Q of R is an upper to zero in R if $Q=fR_H{\cap}R$ for some $f{\in}R$ and that R is a graded UMT-domain if each upper to zero in R is a maximal t-ideal. In this paper, we study several ring-theoretic properties of graded UMT-domains. Among other things, we prove that if R has a unit of nonzero degree, then R is a graded UMT-domain if and only if every prime ideal of $R_{N(H)}$ is extended from a homogeneous ideal of R, if and only if ${\bar{R}}_{H{\backslash}Q}$ is a graded-$Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain for all homogeneous maximal t-ideals Q of R, if and only if ${\bar{R}}_{N(H)}$ is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain, if and only if R is a UMT-domain.

  • Let $\mu$ be a positive Borel measure on $R^n$ which is positive on cubes. For any cube $Q \subset R^n$, a Borel measurable nonnegative function $\varphi_Q$, supported and positive a.e. with respect to $\mu$ in Q, is given. We consider a maximal function $$ M_{\mu}f(x) = sup \int \varphi Q$\mid$f$\mid$d_{\mu} $$ where the supremum is taken over all $\varphi Q$ such that $x \in Q$.

  • In this paper we give conditions for the existence of, and describe the asymtotic behavior of, radial positive solutions of the nonlinear elliptic equation of Emden-Fowler type with convection term ∆p u + 𝛼|u|q-1u + 𝛽x.∇(|u|q-1u) = 0 for x ∈ ℝN, where p > 2, q > 1, N ≥ 1, 𝛼 > 0, 𝛽 > 0 and ∆p is the p-Laplacian operator. In particular, we determine ${\lim}_{r{\rightarrow}}{\infty}\,r^{\frac{p}{q+1-p}}\,u(r)$ when $\frac{{\alpha}}{{\beta}}$ > N > p and $q\,{\geq}\,{\frac{N(p-1)+p}{N-p}}$.

  • This study was conducted to confirm the rumen fermentation characteristics of large-scale CoenzymeQ10(CoQ10) producing bacteria R. spharoides in rumen. We conducted in vitro continuous culture test to investigate the characteristics of rumen fermentation with 5% R. spharoides as a direct fed microorganism. A rumen microbial fermentation characteristic has stability at after 12 days for 15 day of experimental period. pH value, NH3-N, microbial protein synthesis, ADF digestibility and NDF digestibility were not shown significantly differences between control and treatment. However, UDP was significantly higher in treatment than control (p<0.05). CoQ10 concentration was 336.0mg/l with 5% R. spharoides. On the other hands, CoQ10 was not detected without R. spharoides. Our study was shown that R. spharoides can produce CoQ10 in rumen environment without harmful effects on rumen fermentation parameter. CoQ10 in rumen may transfer into cow milk through cow metabolism. This strategy might be helpful for producing functional dairy cow milk.

  • A finite group G is called (l, m, n)-generated, if it is a quotient group of the triangle group T(l, m, n) = 〈$\chi$, y, z│$\chi$$\^$l/ = y$\^$m/ = z$^n$ = $\chi$yz = 1〉. In [19], the question of finding all triples (l, m, n) such that non-abelian finite simple group are (l, m, n)-generated was posed. In this paper we partially answer this question for the sporadic group Ru. In fact, we prove that if p, q and r are prime divisors of │Ru│, where p < q < r and$.$(p, q) $\neq$ (2, 3), then Ru is (p, q, r)-generated.

  • Let 𝕂 be a complete ultrametric algebraically closed field and 𝓐 (𝕂) be the 𝕂-algebra of entire function on 𝕂. For any p-adic entire functions f ∈ 𝓐 (𝕂) and r > 0, we denote by |f|(r) the number sup {|f (x)| : |x| = r} where |·|(r) is a multiplicative norm on 𝓐 (𝕂). In this paper we study some growth properties of composite p-adic entire functions on the basis of their relative (p, q)-𝜑 order where p, q are any two positive integers and 𝜑 (r) : [0, +∞) → (0, +∞) is a non-decreasing unbounded function of r.

  • A role for the xenotropic murine leukemia virus (XMRV) in prostate cancer development has been postulated. To answer questions regarding the prevalence of XMRV in Iranian patients with prostate cancer and its association with the RNASEL R462Q polymorphism, we here investigated a series of cases in Kerman, in the Southeast of Iran, and sought to verify the association with the R462Q using Real Time PCR Method. Prostate tissue specimens of 200 patients with prostate cancer were genotyped for R462Q by real time polymerase chain reaction allelic discrimination and were screened for XMRV proviral DNA by real time polymerase chain reaction specific for the envelope gene. Of 200 patients in this study 8 (4%) cases were positive for XMRV, the QQ allele being the most frequenct regarding the R426Q polymorphism while in negative patients it was the RQ allele. There was significant correlation between high pathological scores and XMRV positive samples. No significant relationship was found between age groups and XMRV results. XMRV was only found in patients with QQ and RQ alleles, not RR. XMRV is detectable in tumor prostate tissue from some patients with prostate cancer, independent of R462Q.

  • Let ${\mathbb{H}}^5$ be the 5-dimensional Heisenberg group equipped with a left-invariant metric. In this paper we calculate the volumes of geodesic balls in ${\mathbb{H}}^5$. Let $B_e(R)$ be the geodesic ball with center e (the identity of ${\mathbb{H}}^5$) and radius R in ${\mathbb{H}}^5$. Then, the volume of $B_e(R)$ is given by $${\hfill{12}}Vol(B_e(R))\\{={\frac{4{\pi}^2}{6!}}{\left(p_1(R)+p_4(R){\sin}\;R+p_5(R){\cos}\;R+p_6(R){\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_0}^R}{\frac{{\sin}\;t}{t}}dt\right.}\\{\left.{\hfill{65}}{+q_4(R){\sin}(2R)+q_5(R){\cos}(2R)+q_6(R){\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_0}^{2R}}{\frac{{\sin}\;t}{t}}dt}\right)}$$ where $p_n$ and $q_n$ are polynomials with degree n.
