The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect that Chinese tourists' perceptions of beauty products and their friendliness toward Korean culture have on beauty tourism, particularly on Chinese tourists' intent to purchase, re-purchase, and recommend beauty products. Between the 10th and 21st of June, 2016, a total of 277 questionnaires were distributed in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu using SPSS 21.0. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was undertaken to test the reliability of the questions and an analysis of the frequency, factors, t-test, and Sobel test used in the study. Korean beauty was derived from two factors: "product favorability" and "product excellence and credibility." Product favorability had a significant effect on the intent to purchase, as did participants' friendliness toward Korean culture. Re-purchases and the intent to recommend beauty products were also significantly affected. In the relationship between the perception of beauty products and the intent to purchase, the study revealed partial mediation effects of the participants' friendliness toward Korean culture on product favorability and complete mediation effects on product excellence and credibility. Friendliness toward Korean culture had partially mediated the effect that product favorability had on the intent to re-purchase and recommend. Tourists' friendliness toward Korean culture had complete mediation on the effect that product excellence and credibility had on the intent to re-purchase and recommend. According to the Gender Equality and Family Act, the difference between buying and selling beauty depends on the difference between purchase and intentions. Friendliness toward Korean culture has become an important variable thanks to product superiority and reliability.
This research studied men's cosmetics purchasing behavior based on the level of interest one has in one's appearance, the country of origin, and the sales promotion of the cosmetics. The study was conducted by experimental $2{\times}[2{\times}2]$ design by combining the 3 variables mentioned above. The Independent variables in this research were levels of appearance interest(high vs. low), the country of origin(Korean vs. foreign), and types of sales promotion(discount vs. coupon). The dependent variables were the purchase behaviors including favor to cosmetics and purchase intent. Two hundred male consumers participated for the study. Data analysis conducted were factor analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA. The results were as follows. 1. Male consumers' cosmetics favorness: 3-way significant interaction, in appearance interest, the country of origin, and types of sales promotion, was found for favor to male cosmetics. When male subjects were provided with price discounts and skin care coupons for the Korean cosmetics, they didn't reveal significant differences in favor, regardless of the level of appearance interest. However, for the imported cosmetics, male subjects with high appearance interest showed more favor to the cosmetics than the ones with low appearance interest. 2. Male consumers' purchase intent: 3-way significant interaction, in appearance interest, the country of origin, and types of sales promotion was found for the purchase intent. When male subjects were provided with price discounts and skin care coupons for the Korean cosmetics, they didn't show significant difference in purchase intent, regardless of their appearance interest. However, for the imported cosmetics, male consumers with high appearance interest reported more purchase intent than the ones with low appearance interest.
The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of brand familiarity and brand recognition on the acceptance of 10 commercial Korean rice wines (yakju). For the consumer preference testing, 104 rice wine drinkers (males, 56; female, 48) from their 20's to 40's were recruited. Consumers first rated the preferences and purchasing intent of the samples without accompanying information about each sample. During a break, brand familiarities and demographics were surveyed. The consumers then rated the preferences and purchasing intent with information about each sample. An analysis of variance was constructed to evaluate the effect of gender, age, and samples on the liking and purchasing intent of the rice wine products. Significant differences were observed for the likings and purchasing intents among the 10 samples with and without brand information, respectively. A paired t-test was performed to evaluate the effect of brand recognition between with and without brand information. A significant effect of brand recognition was confirmed, particularly for the samples with higher levels of brand familiarity. Internal preference mapping was performed to understand the overall relationships between each consumer's liking of the 10 samples with and without brand information. Acceptance tended to shift toward more familiar products when the information was presented.

The study was conducted by experimental conspicuous consumption(2)X[types of sales promotions(2) X images of the country of manufacture(2)] design by combining the 3 variables mentioned above. 312 women living in Chengdu were collected for this study. For data analysis, factor analysis, T-test, frequency analysis and ANOVA were used. The results were as follows: First, Chinese consumers' favor to fashion luxury brands: 2-way interactions, in sales promotions and images of the country of manufacture, was found for favor to fashion luxury brands. Second, Chinese consumers' purchase intent to fashion luxury brands: only the main-effects of conspicuous consumption and images of the country of manufacture was meaningfully positive. It demonstrates that only conspicuous consumption and images of the country of manufacture effected Chinese consumers' purchase intent to fashion luxury brands.
The purpose of this study is to address marketing strategies for the brand extension of university-licensed merchandise by investigating influences on intent to purchase a new university-licensed merchandise line, tartan. A survey questionnaire was developed and administered online to the major target market for university-licensed merchandise. Four hundred and fifty students and alumni from a US Midwestern university completed the survey. Respondents were asked to answer questions on university identification, perceived university prestige, perceived value of the university-licensed merchandise, intent to purchase a brand extension in university-licensed merchandise, and demographics. It was hypothesized that university identification (H1) and perceived university prestige (H2) are positively related to the perceived value of the university-licensed merchandise and that perceived value of the university-licensed merchandise is positively related to intent to purchase a brand extension in university-licensed merchandise (H3). The difference between students and alumni was also tested. Consumers with high university identification and high perceived university prestige highly valued the university-licensed merchandise. Consumers who perceived a high value of the current university-licensed merchandise displayed a strong intent to purchase a brand extension in university-licensed merchandise. There was no structural difference between the two groups. The study builds on existing research on the influences of attitudes toward the university and university-licensed merchandise on purchasing university-licensed merchandise, specifically investigating intent to purchase a brand extension in university-licensed merchandise. This study also extends previous brand-extension research into university-licensed merchandise.
Purpose - The perception of the quality of the consumer's distributor's brand(PBs) is generally perceived to be lower than that of the manufacturer's brand(NB), although it is a critical factor in determining the success of PBs. Accordingly, this study examines the characteristics of the convenience store PB products and their correlation with brand trust and purchase intent in the consumers who have had experience purchasing the convenience store PBs to expand the sales variables. Further, this research shows that the marketing strategy is to increase the share of PBs by providing an empirical analysis on the effect of the product attribute factors on the sales volume associated with brand trust, purchase intent, and others. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey period of this study was approximately three weeks from December 1, 2017 to December 21, 2017. The study samples that were taken from 100 random people extracted. The statistical analysis was carried out with multiple regression analysis using the SPSS statistical package. Results - The analysis shows that the brand credibility and purchasing intention were statistically significant differences between the private convenience store private brand products. Specifically, brand trust showed a statistically significant relationship the brand images and quality levels, but the perceived value was not affected statistically. Although the intent of the purchase showed a statistically significant relationship the quality level and the perceived value, the brand image was not statistically significant in its relationship. Conclusions - Overall, it has been established that the perception value does not statistically affect brand trust for convenience store PB products, and that the brand image has no statistically significant effect on the purchase intent. These results are analyzed to be due to the influence of brand in convenience stores themselves rather than brand trust and purchase intentions that affect sales performance, which is the property of private brand food and beverage products, the perceived value of their products. Accordingly, the study found that not only did the marketing performance of the convenience store PB products be improved statistically, but also the cause of the product attributes that were not statistically significant was identified.

Due to the recent development of 3D printers, interest in 3D printing is growing. 3D printing should reflect individual needs and various requirements by designing products to suit the user's requirements. Research on how to use 3D printed products for the purpose of purchasing products according to user's demand characteristics is insufficient. Therefore, this study conducted a survey and statistical analysis to find out the factors influencing the intention of purchasing custom controller products in 3D printing environments. Research has confirmed that user innovation and convenience safety are important factors for the satisfaction and purchase intent of personal-tailored controller products. Considering user innovation, convenience, and safety when producing controller products using 3D printing, it is expected that value of custom controller manufacturing can be increased. Research is needed on the personalized product development framework that successfully introduces and systematically supports the production methods of personalized products in the early stages.
