In this paper, we identified the factors influencing on the continuous use intention of social commerce and analyzed the proposed model empirically using structural equation model, which was developed by considering hedonic and utilitarian shopping value, trust, satisfaction, familiarity, social influence, and perceived price. We collected data for this study by surveying the consumers who had an experience of purchasing through social commerce. An analysis of 212 respondents indicated that utilitarian and hedonic shopping value influenced on satisfaction as both of shopping value are significant statistically. Social commerce gives more attraction their consumers by reducing the price to half, whereas they are expected to present playfulness of shopping. Familiarity, social influence, and perceived price are influential factors in a purchase of social commerce sites. We discuss the implications of our findings for both theory and practice.
The purpose of this study is to examine the different purchasing behaviors of natural dyes according to the personal value orientation of the consumers in question. Demand response (DR) can be used to improve the efficiency of electricity markets and increase the reliability of power systems. As more utilities attempt to reduce the purchasing costs by implementing DR programs strategically, there is an increasing need for studies of how to allocate the reduced purchasing costs among DR program participants. The rebates or incentives can be given to DR program participants in proportion to the participants' contributions to the reduced purchasing costs. This paper presents Shapley Value-based method to determine the DR program participants' contributions to the reduced purchasing costs. A numerical example is presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Purpose - The current analysis has been done in order to verify the difference between consumer attitudes on the distributor's PB products in terms of practical shopping value and attitudes about the product according to its perceived quality. Research design, data, and methodology - The target respondents of this study were those who have bought PB products at large-scale discount stores within the past six months. We asked homemakers, office workers, and students who live in Seoul or Daejon to respond to a questionnaire by filling out self-evaluations, and collected the completed questionnaires. To test the hypothesis, a t-test was carried out by group for 25 percent of the high and low rankings, including a quarter of the total respondents, to verify attitudes toward products and brands, purchase satisfaction, and re-purchase intention according to the practical shopping value and recognized quality of PB products. A variance analysis was conducted to see if there were differences among groups in terms of practical shopping value and perceived quality. Scheffe's back testing was used to identify differences between groups. Results - The result of the investigation of consumer attitudes according to practical shopping value is as follows. First, it was verified that consumer attitudes about PB products increase as practical shopping value increases. Second, there was no significant. Third, it was verified that repurchase intentions for PB products get higher as the practical shopping value of the consumer increases. The following is the result of the investigation of consumer attitudes according to the perceived quality of PB products. First, it was verified that the product attitude improves as the perceived quality of PB products increases. Second, the research confirmed that the brand attitude improves as the perceived quality of PB products increases. Third, consumer satisfaction is higher when the perceived quality of PB products is high. Fourth, this study verified that repurchase intentions for PB products are higher as the perceived quality of the product increases. Finally, the results of identifying differences between groups for perceived quality and shopping value are as follows. It was identified that there were differences in shopping value according to the characteristics of the groups. However, perceived quality does not change according to the characteristics of groups. Conclusions - These results have practical implications for the marketing strategy of PB products in order to satisfy consumer demands and provide a differentiated service by the distributor. In addition, it is suggested that a communication strategy may be necessary to increase brand loyalty and ensure the continual growth and value creation of PB products as symbolic products for distributors.
The primary purpose of this research is to develop and test a model that explains the process of how In-store experiences (physical environmental quality, personal interaction, product experience) through perceived risks and brand attitude influence purchase intention. Perceived risks and brand attitude are proposed as mediators that make a significant impact on purchase intention. Through structural equation modeling using 235 consumers who visited the experience store in IT Industry, we find that In-store experiences influence perceived risks, brand attitude and then enhance purchase intention. Thus, IT companies should make every effort to create In-store value for visited consumers. Based on these results, managerial implications for experience store operation and marketing strategy are discussed. Finally, limitation for this research and further research issues are suggested.
The purposes of this study are to examine older consumers' seeking benefits and purchase intentions for functional materials and their attitudes towards such materials and investigate the differences between purchasers and non-purchasers of functional materials in their seeking benefits for functional materials and their emphasis on self development and pursuit of fashion. In doing so, this study samples the older adult population living in Seoul, Busan, and Gyeonggi Province and analyzes 267 questionnaire responses obtained from the sampled older consumers. The main findings from the analysis are as follows: First, the older consumers' seeking benefits for functional materials were represented by three different dimensions: reliability, brands/fashion, and others-oriented pursuit. Second, the influence on the dimension of reliability was more significant in the order of knowledge on functional materials, pursuit of fashion, and emphasis on self-development the interest in garments and the pursuit of fashion were found to have significant influence on the dimensions of brands/fashion and others-oriented pursuit. Third, the respondents' attitudes towards functional materials showed significant correlations with the dimensions of reliability and others-oriented pursuit, while their purchase intentions for functional materials were significantly influenced by the dimensions of reliability and brands/fashion. Finally, when the differences in the respondents' seeking benefits for functional materials and their pursuit of fashion and emphasis on self-development were investigated according to whether or not they had ever purchased clothes made from any functional material, the group of purchasers showed a higher mean value than the non-purchaser group.

Focus group interviews and survey were conducted in December, 2003 with 30 online shoppers who have an experience of online clothing purchasing. The data analysis included the content analysis, descriptive statistics, K-means and factor analysis. Key findings of the study were as follows: First, online shoppers spent average 3.5 hours on internet and usually purchased clothing while surfing the web. Second, consumers were satisfied with reasonable price and customized service but dissatisfied with delayed delivery, limited product availability in both size and color and return policy. Third, according to the lifestyle segmentation, online shoppers could be characterized as 'Luxurious', 'Trendy' and 'Prudent' 'Luxury-oriented consumers', who value fashion, diet and social activity, tended to purchase basic yet high quality products. However, 'Trend-oriented consumers', to whom fashion trend was most important, purchased various latest fashion products with reasonable price and showed generally positive response to emails sent by e-retailers. And lastly 'Prudence-oriented consumers', whose buying decision was based solely on practicality, appeared to be reluctant to purchase clothing online while seeking more credible information and competitive price. In conclusion, this study has its significance in that it helps promote relationships between customers and e-retailers by providing differentiated e-CRM strategies through each customer groups 'lifestyle segmentation and consumer purchasing behavior analysis.

Objectives: This study investigated the utilization and satisfaction of lunchbox by considering the dietary lifestyle of the consumer, in order to refine the purchasing behavior of adults with experience in using lunchboxes, and to provide basic data for efficient menu configuration and direction towards improvement. Methods: A total of 600 adults in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do answered a self-administered questionnaire designed to investigate general characteristics, utilization, menu preference, satisfaction, prospection, and improvement of lunchbox, according to the dietary lifestyle. Results: The study subjects were classified into 5 groups: 'taste seeking group', 'safety seeking group', 'health seeking group', 'economic seeking group' and 'convenience seeking group. Considering purchase value of the lunchbox, the 'taste seeking group' had a high utilization rate (35.1%) for prices less than 4,000 won (P < 0.05). Lunchboxes were mainly purchased at the lunchbox store (43.3%) and convenience store (37.7%). The important factor that contributed to purchasing a lunchbox was taste (61.3%), which was highest in the 'taste seeking group' (P < 0.01). The 'health seeking group' showed the highest preference for the low-salt diet lunchbox menu (26.0%) (P < 0.05). The satisfaction of 'health seeking groups' was lowest when considering addition of condiments (2.34%), origin of ingredient (2.59%), and provided calorie (2.81%) (P < 0.05). The overall response indicated future use of the lunchbox (69.6%) (P < 0.01); 35.8% respondents recommended the purchase of lunchbox, where convenience of purchase was the highest factor contributing to recommendation (50.2%) (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Taken together, our results indicate that taste was emphasized in every group purchasing the lunch box. Convenience of purchase was the highest factor contributing to satisfaction, which was relatively low when considering addition of condiments, nutrition and origin of ingredients. We propose that it is necessary to improve the development of various menus for increasing satisfaction by selecting the right ingredients contributing to good health of the consumer.
