The object of this research is to assess both the preference and the recognition on commercial cream soup by gender and age group to design reliable proposals for better product. Of 461 questionnaires handed out to residents at Daegu, Busan and Gyeongju in youngnam area. The data were analysed by chi-square test, t-test and one way ANOVA. The results are summarized as following: (1) the response rate of 78.6 percent liked soup because of it's taste, (2) respondents in ages 20${\sim}$30's showed higher preference than respondents in ages 40${\sim}$50's (3) main ingredient is the most important consideration as purchase, (4) vegetable cream soup and mushroom cream soup are shown as highest ranking on the recognition of soup, (5) mushroom cream soup and corn cream soup are shown as highest ranking on the preference of soup.
As the penetration rate of smart phones has spread and functions have been developed variously, a new advertising medium called mobile advertising has emerged. In addition, various mobile advertisements targeting teenagers, where most of their daily lives are conducted using smartphones, have been activated. Adolescents in the modern society called Generation Z have the longest time to use a smartphone among age groups. Even during the economic downturn, adolescent consumers are an important consumer group that can overcome the economic recession, so mobile advertisements targeting their purchasing power are being created like a flood. Therefore, in this study, the influence of mobile advertisement characteristics and personal characteristics on purchasing attitudes for adolescents using smartphones was identified, and how this was linked to purchasing behavior again. To conduct the research, a survey was conducted on 324 high school students using smartphones, and the results are as follows: First, the higher the recognition of convenience in mobile advertising characteristics and brand preferences, the higher the brand preference. Characteristics and brand trust had a positive effect on acceptance as the awareness of convenience, information, and entertainment increased. Third, the influence of adolescents' personal characteristics on purchasing attitudes had a positive effect on brand preferences by pursuit of fashion, pursuit of personality, and practical pursuit. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the relationship between purchase attitude and purchase behavior, it was verified that brand preference and brand trust among purchase attitude have a positive influence on purchase behavior. This study has significance in that it has grasped the influence of mobile advertising on purchasing behavior among teenagers who are rapidly growing as mobile consumers.
This research suggests improvement strategies for the problems of 'public housing supplied through the purchase of existing house' by understanding the situation of supply to lowest income class in Seoul where there are many demands. Due to the heavy housing expenditure burden, in spite of the fact that the needs for affordable housings are increasing, the number of 'public housing supplied through the purchase of existing house' which has been supplied to Seoul by LH & SH has decreased since 2009. It is caused by the low standard purchasing price set by government especially Seoul. Since 'the public housing supplied through the purchase of existing house' is targeted for indigenous inhabitants, different supply stocks among different regions cause equity problem. Generally regions with low income class are in short supply, on the contrary the supply is especially concentrated specific regions in outskirts of Seoul. The main reason of such new supply stagnation and regional concentration is the low standard purchasing price. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the government's standard price according to the actual transaction price. Also it is needed to associate actual transaction price's increasing rate with the government's standard price. The housing supply based on demands must be established. In addition, the provision of 'public housing supplied through the purchase of existing house' should be expanded to low-middle income inhabitants and low income youth in the regions where the supply of the affordable housing excess demands.
With the subjects of male consumers in their 20s to 40s living in the Ningbo area in Zhejiang Province, this study aims to investigate into the reality of their purchase attitude and size fitness of ready-made suits. The results are as follows; Looking into their demographic characteristics, 70.6% of the subjects were twenties, 60.6% were single, and educational career stood in the order of college, middle school, and high school graduation. They were largely absorbed in free trade, followed by teaching, commerce and service industry. 59.6% of them were Zhejiang Province belongs. One to two thousand yuan was the greatest portion of their monthly income. As for their purchase attitude of ready-made suits, they thought higher of material, quality, activity, and solidity than of design. They preferred to buy clothes at a department store. There was significant difference between purchase frequency and purchase price according to monthly income and jobs. Concerning brand recognition, the Chinese subjects favored "Youngor." Though Korea's brands were very lowly recognized, Korean products received really high recognition. Compared with China's brands, they found foreign brands excellent in design, followed by material/matter, wear, and sewing. As to their physical satisfaction and the size fitness of clothes, most subjects felt happy with their sizes. Trousers and jackets were among the unfitting suit items, while the girth of waist was the least satisfactory size. Therefore, in order to raise the market occupation rate of Korean suit goods in China, more aggressive marketing strategies are required to utilize the current Korean-style entertainment and maximize concerning brand images. In particular, outstanding products in consideration of prices should be made through the proper patternmaking to reflect the body types of the Chinese.

The results of this study on Purchase Patterns and Recognition of Processed Foods of School Meal Service Dietitians of elementary, junior and senior high schools in Chonbuk and Deagu Area are as follows : First, the rate of single cooking of the schools surveyed is 100% in Deagu and 66.9% in Chonbuk, and Chonbuk has more small-meal service schools which caused a higher labor cost than Deagu, Secondly, schools in Deagu has purchased not completely processed vegetables and fish and shells than Chonbuk, and Chonbuk(66.9%) has served more Kim-chi products than Deagu(41.6%). Thirdly, nutritional effects and preference have been considered as school dietitians make plans for the menu. Fourthly, the opinions of the school dietitians about processed food are in the order of high sodium content, convenience and the use of preservative, and Chonbuk has responded positively to the articles of future oriented quality, cooking usage and variety while Deagu has thought of it as an economical. The expected effects from the use of processed foods are in the order of saving labor time and student preferences. Fifthly, meat products have been frequently used and more frozen meat products have been used in Deagu and senior high school than Chonbuk and elementary and junior high schools, last, preferences on processed food are in the order of frozen sea food, noodles. dried sea food, processed vegetable and fruit, dairy goods and others. Senior high school dietitians have preferred packed meat products and other frozen processed food more than elementary and junior high school dietitians. The rate of serving processed food had a different depending on the number of students. In this study, dietitians recognize the harmful effects of processed foods over the merits, which means that the rate of using processed food is low. The proper usage of processed foods is thought to improve the preference of students, to have cooking time shortened and to help manage the meal service sanitarily and efficiently. Therefore, companies producing processed foods should do their best to develop safety and health oriented foods to gain the credibility, and the government should make new regulations for people to purchase and obtain processed foods without any doubt.
Seoul citizens are currently suffering from high housing price. Home prices have risen more rapidly than salaries so owning a housing unit (apartment, condominium, or single-family home) in Seoul is becoming more difficult than ever. Therefore, this research examines the behavior of average Seoul citizen in owning housing unit in Seoul, Korea, particularly in terms of the length of time required to afford a house unit. This research estimates that it will take about 18.75 years in maximum after getting a job (12.75 years after purchasing the housing unit) to own housing unit in Seoul that is currently valued at $300,000 where the growth rate of income is 2.97% and consumption price increases at a rate of 2.95% per annum. Finally in this research, the optimal growth rate of housing price is estimated ranged from 3.5 to 4.0% minimizing the loan payoff period.
This study was conducted twice to investigate egg purchase behavior and perception on animal welfare of Korean consumers. This study included women, who were the main decision makers and caretakers in the household, and men with one-person household. This survey was conducted with by the Computer Assisted Web Interview and Gang Survey methods. On the key considerations factor, the highest response rate was considered to be 'price', and the response rate of considering 'packing date' increased in the second survey. At a reasonable price based on 10 eggs, the response rate was the highest at 53.8% and 42.9% in both the first and second surveys and the appropriate price averages were 2,482 won and 2,132 won, respectively. The highest rate of purchase of egg consumers from 'Large Mart' followed by 'Medium sized supermarket' and 'Chain supermarket'. As for the awareness about animal welfare, the recognition ratio (73.5%) was higher in the result of the second survey than the first. The cognitive period of animal welfare was 59.0% before the insecticide egg crisis and 41.0% thereafter. Regarding whether or not they have ever seen an animal welfare certification mark and an animal welfare animal farm certification mark, 59.6% of respondents said that they saw it for the first time and 37.6% answered that they knew the animal welfare certification mark. On the animal welfare system, the 'free-range' response rate was the highest at 85.8%. The 'free-range' fit response decreased by 34.2%p, while the 'barn' and 'European type' fit response increased by 13.2%p and 24.1%p, respectively. The number of 'I have never seen' and 'I have ever eaten' responses to the recognition and eating experience of animal welfare certified eggs decreased while the number of those who answered 'Have ever seen' and 'Have eaten' increased. Of the total respondents, 92.0% were willing to purchase an animal welfare egg before the price was offered, but after offering the prices of animal welfare eggs, the intention to purchase was 62.7%, which was about 30%p lower than before. The reason for purchasing an animal welfare certified egg was the highest score of 71.0% for 'I think it is likely to be high in food safety', and 38.1% for 'I think the price is high' for lack of intention to purchase. In the sensory evaluation of animal welfare eggs, egg color and skin texture of conventional eggs were significantly higher than those of certified welfare eggs (P<0.05), and boiled eggs showed that egg whites of animal welfare certified eggs were more (P<0.05). As a result, the results of this study will contribute to the activation of the animal welfare certification system for laying hens by providing basic data on consumer awareness to animal welfare certified farmers.
The purpose of this study was to get some pieces of prior information to eventually develop high value-added fashion cultural products design using local cultural resources, to promote the cultural tourism festival. For this purpose, this study is carried out the investigation of cultural product stores and visitors' questionnaire survey. The subjects of this study were festivals which were selected as cultural tourism festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from 2000 to 2008. Of them, six festivals were finally selected but food festival was excluded. The results of this study were as follows; First, the store survey was conduced to analyze the situation of the products of cultural tourism festival. The most frequent product was accessories. And a T-shirt was found to be sold every festival probably because it was the most popular item and basic item which people could buy without burden. While the most diverse kinds of products were found in the Andong, the Jinju and Gangjin were found not to develop various products. In the design motif used for cultural products, most products did not use festival or local image. The highest use of the festival and local image was found in Gangjin and Muju. The Andong and Chungju were found to sell very common products buying anywhere rather than products using local cultural resources or image. In the material of cultural products, most products use metal. And In the price of cultural products, 10,000-30,000 won was found highest. Second, the purchase conditions of cultural tourism festival visitors were examined. The visiting goal and companion of visitors was found to vary with the type of cultural tourism festival. The types of visitors were also found to have an effect on the choice of items in the purchase of cultural products sold in the festival. Only one third of respondents responded buying one and more cultural products. The purchase rate was found high in the festival where cultural product items were various and there were many products symbolizing festival or region. The most purchased item was a mobile phone hanger and the amount of purchasing cultural products was 10,000-30,000 won. The reason not to purchase cultural products was dissatisfaction with utility, originality, possibility of a present, symbolism, and price. The most important attribute in the purchase of cultural products was design, followed by symbolism, price, originality, and innovation. The highly preferred product group included clothing, miscellaneous goods, and accessories. Specifically, T-shirt was found highest. Based on these research results, it was found that the design strategy for the cultural products development should consider both regional and festival images. The items and designs of the cultural products should reflect visitors' characteristics and the price zone should be varied.
Purpose - Given an increase in the consumption of plums, prices have fluctuated in an unstable manner, making it difficult for farmhouses to sell the product. This study intends to provide information on the cultivation and sale of plums to consumers, thus enabling producers to utilize relevant information to analyze the types of plums that are preferred and consumed by users. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, a survey was conducted on plum consumption by a consumer panel established and operated by the Rural Development Administration in December 2009. The objective was to identify the purchasing awareness of plums and to analyze panel data from 2010 to 2013 using a linear regression model, a Tobit model, and a panel regression model to derive the purchase characteristics. Results - The outcome of the survey on plums is as follows. Plums are purchased because they are good for the health (90.6%), which means that most customers purchase plums for their health benefits. When plums are in season, the purchase rate is 94.8%, indicating that most plums are purchased when they are in season and that selling plums when they are out of season is difficult. Therefore, we sell most plums in the correct season, and the rest of the plums need to be processed and then sent to markets. The strongest reason for not purchasing plums is that they are difficult to process for consumption (63.1%), followed by the reason that the fruit is unfamiliar (15.5%). Regarding solutions for increasing the consumption of plums, the answers were as follows: distribute a recipe for plums (36.9%), advertise its effect through TV or the press (31.1%), and develop various processed products (15.6%). When customers decide to pick out plums, the major considerations were freshness (4.43), safe to eat (4.16), price (3.96), size (3.87), brand (3.28), and discount event (2.62). Freshness is important for decision making and safe to eat was more important than price because plums are washed and processed into plum jam. According to the results of the linear regression model, a higher family income results in a higher purchasing amount. However, the amount of plums purchased by a person was reduced if his or her income increased. Compared with individuals who used other purchasing agents on weekdays, those who used the traditional market turned out to purchase a higher amount of plums on the weekdays. Conclusions - Considering that numerous people purchase plums for their health benefits, promoting the consumption of plums is anticipated as being successful if they can be produced safely for consumption and for inclusion in recipes and various processed foods, and to promote eco-friendly agricultural practices.
