5MW 발전용 가스터빈 엔진 연소기 성능시험 (Performance Test of 5MW Gas Turbine Engine Combustor)

  • Performance test of 5MW class gasturbine combustor was carried out at combustor test facility of KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute). The combustor is dry low NOx type premixed combustor and fuel is natural gas. The characteristics of combustor were measured including emission, pressure pulsation and exit temperature distribution. Optimum operation point of combustor was found by changing parameters like fuel ratio between pilot and main burner. The test result showed that the combustor performance is sufficient to satisfy the gasturbine system requirement.

가스보조식 이중행정 유압브레이커의 성능 최적화 (Performance Optimization of a Gas-Assisted Hydraulic Breaker with Dual Stroke)

  • A gas-assisted hydraulic breaker uses both hydraulic and pneumatic energies and the appropriate balance between them mostly effects its performance. Mathematical modeling of the breaker is established and verified by experiment. Through sensitivity analysis using AMESim, the key design parameters are selected, which mostly affect the performance of the breaker. Taguchi method is used to optimize the key design parameters to maximize the output power for long and short strokes through simulation. As the result, the output power as well as the impact energy are increased significantly compared with the existing design. The pressure pulsation in the supply line is reduced to a tolerable level and the dynamic characteristics of the piston displacement is also improved by the optimization.

자려 연소진동에 관한 연소제어와 징후의 검출 (Combustion Control and Symptom Detection on Self-excited Combustion Oscillation)

  • An idea to suppress the self-excited combustion oscillation was applied to the flames. The characteristics of unsteady combustion were examined and the unsteady combustion was driven by forced pulsating mixture supply that can modulate its amplitude and frequency. The self-excited combustion oscillation having weaker flow velocity fluctuation intensity than that of the forced pulsating supply can be suppressed by this method. The effects of the forced pulsation amplitude and frequency on controlling self-excited combustion oscillations were also investigated comparing with the steady mixture supply. The unsteady combustion used in this experiment plays an important role in controlling self-excited combustion oscillation. Symptoms of self-excited combustion oscillation were also studied in order to predict the onset of combustion oscillation before it proceeded to a catastrophic failure For the purpose, the unique measures to observe the onset of self-excited combustion oscillations based on the careful statistics of fluctuating properties in flames, such as pressure or emission of OH radicals, have been proposed.

  • PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry)was used to visualize the interaction of reed valve of the reciprocating compressor. The valve is the key part which governs the efficiency, noise and reliability of the compressor, so the development of analytical model about valve performance is necessary. As the valve reed is opened and closed by pressure pulsation, the flow characteristic of the refrigerant passing the valve is very important. In the present study, a circular disk with inclination is assumed to be the valve reed of a reciprocating compressor, The mean velocity shows the vortical characteristic of this flow. It is found that the back flow is affected by the height of reed valve of reciprocating compressor.

  • 2차원 압축성 오일러 방정식을 지배 방정식으로 하여 음향학적 문제를 직접 수치 계산하였다. Roe의 개략적인 리만해(Approximate Riemann Solver)에 의거하여 대류항을 구성하였고 높은 정확도를 유지하기 위해 Vanleer의 MUSCL 방법을 사용하여 공간을 이산화하였다. 시간 적분으로는 2차의 Runge-Kutta 방법을 사용하였다. Resonance tube 내의 음향학적 문제 해석을 위해 최근까지 제시된 음향 경계 조건들을 비교하였고 각 경계 조건들이 갖는 물리적 의미를 고찰하였다. 이들을 통하여 압력파의 물리적인 행태를 모사하였고 실험과 비교하였다. 계산결과들을 통하여 사용된 방법은 전형적인 압축성 유동 해석 문제 뿐만 아니라 선형, 비선형의 음향학적 문제들을 적절한 경계 조건과 결합하여 해석할 수 있음을 알 수 있었고 resonance tube와 같은 공학적으로 실제적인 문제들에 대한 응용이 기대된다.

  • The rotary compressor is widely used for the air conditioner because it is efficient and compact. In recent, the need for silent and efficient compressors is much stronger than the past. The new type muffler was invented to reduce noise level and to improve efficiency. The new type muffler that has two side discharge holes and dome shape represents much lower overall noise level, especially noise levels around 1kHz than the old type one that has one center discharge hole In acoustic spectra. Also it has higher air conditioner efficiency by lower oil discharging amount of a compressor than old type one that has rectangular shape and two side discharge holes. The noise reduction and efficiency improvement effects of the new type muffler were verified by tests for rotary compressors and air conditioners.

오비터 공기 압축기 성능해석 (Performance Analysis of an Orbiter Air Compressor)

  • This paper introduces a new concept compressor in which piston orbits in the cylinder having an annular space formed between two concentric circular walls. In this configuration, two gas pockets are formed with $180^{\circ}$ phase difference: one between the wrap of the orbiting piston and the inner cylinder wall and the other between the piston wrap and the outer cylinder wall. This alternating feature of gas compression and discharge processes yields several advantages such as low torque variation and low gas pulsation. Computer simulation program has been developed to evaluate the compressor performance. The volumetric, adiabatic, and mechanical efficiencies of the orbiter compressor are calculated to be $85.6\%,\;97.2\%,\;and\;95.2\%$, respectively, when it is used as an air compressor.

  • 인터넷환경의 눈부신 발전으로 세계에서 가장 인터넷 망이 잘 갖추어진 우리나라가 다양한 넷트웍 환경의 실험장이 되어 있고 세계에서 가장 높은 초고속망이 보급 되여 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 가정에 연결 되여 있는 초고속망(ADSL)을 이용하여 병원의 의사컴퓨터와 1:1로 접속하여 혈압과 맥박, 체온, 혈당, 화상청진기, 음성 등을 종합적으로 실시간 전송하는 원격진료 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • In this paper, we adapted BLDC motor to PV water pumping systems to maintain high efficiency in the wide speed area. Also, to design confidence we adapted the vector control that drive the maximum torque at each speed limit. We designed optimal gain value of current, speed and pressure PI controller. Inverter gate pulse used Space Vector PWM to reduce torque pulsation of BLDC motor. According to, it was improve general matters of high water storage tank method by direct water supply pumping method.

Taguchi 방법을 이용한 순수 유압식 브레이커의 성능 최적화 (Performance Optimization of a Fully Hydraulic Breaker using Taguchi Method)

  • The optimal design of a large-size fully hydraulic breaker is studied in this paper. Mathematical modeling of the breaker is established and verified by experiments. Through sensitivity analysis, the key design parameters of the breaker are selected, which mostly affect the performance of the breaker. Taguchi method is used to optimize the key design parameters in order to maximize the output power through simulation using AMESim. As a result, the impact energy is increased by 18.9% and the output power is increased by 12.4% compared with the current design. The pressure pulsation in the supply line is also reduced by the optimization.
