In this study, field pull-out tests were performed for steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge and non-wedge type steel pipe nailing under the same test conditions. This is to evaluate pull-out resistance improvement effect of steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge. Evaluating for field pull-out characteristics of steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge was performed through analysis of ultimate pull-out resistance ($T_L$), ultimate unit skin friction ($q_s$, $u_{max}$), tensile normal stiffness ($K_{\beta}$), tension of nail. As a result, the steel pipe nailing installed foldable wedge have an effect of pull-out resistance increased about 30% in comparison with non-wedge type steel pipe nailing.
The geometry of the gravity-type anchorage changes depends on various factors such as the installation location, ground type, and relationship with the upper structure. In particular, the anchorage geometry embedded in the ground is an important design factor because it affects the pull-out resistance of the anchorage. This study examined the effect of four parameters, related to anchorage geometry and embedded ground conditions, on the pull-out resistance in the gravity-type anchorage through two-dimensional finite element analysis, and presented a guide for major design variables. The four parameters include the 1) flight length of the stepped anchorage (m), 2) flight height of the stepped anchorage (n), 3) the anchorage heel height (b), and 4) the thickness of the soil (e). It was found that as the values of m increased and the values of n decreased, the pull-out resistance of the gravity-type anchorage increased. This trend is related to the size of the contact surface between the anchorage and the rock, and it was confirmed that the value of n, which has the largest change rate of the contact surface between the anchorage and the rock, has the greatest effect on the pull-out resistance of the anchorage. Additionally, the most effective design was achieved when the ratio of the step to the bottom of the anchorage (m) was greater than 0.7, and m was found to be an important factor in the pull-out resistance behavior of the anchorage.

The pressurized grouting soil nailing method using rubber membrane packer system was developed for recycling materials to minimize environmental pollution and reducing construction costs. For this purpose, field pull-out tests were performed to evaluate the characteristics of soil nailing by measuring tensile stresses and axial displacements.

This paper suggests a new reliable push pull converter. The proposed push-pull converter have additional two diodes comparing with conventional push-pull converter. When one of two MOSFETs of the push-pull converter is on state, the other MOSFET is automatically off state due to adding additional diodes. Therefore, the converter is under electric noise environments, the converter avoids short circuit due to turning on of two MOSFETs. In this paper, the suggested converter has been simulated by PLECS software for 100 kHz switching frequency. In simulation, the current of the converter switches increases about 10 % for $20{\mu}sec$ electric noise environments. However, the converter operates very reliably without any short circuit conditions.
"Technology push and Requirements pull"이란 법칙이 있다.

This study was aimed to specify health-related push and pull factors in mountain climbing and provide effective management strategy for mountain-based recreational setting through the identification of the reciprocal relationship between the push and pull factors. The results of survey by 440 mountain climbers at Mt. Dobong, Mt. Bukhan, Mt. Kwanak, and Mt. Cheonggye showed that three dimensions were respectively derived from health-related 15 push items and 11 pull items; therapeutic care, mental health, physical fitness in push factors and cultural, socio-economic, and natural environment in pull factors. According to an analysis of influence between push and pull factors, natural environment was reported to be the greatest influencing pull factor on therapeutic care and physical fitness, and socio-economic environment was on mental health.

Asperity arrays and Independent asperities were fabricated on a silicon plate. Then pull-off and friction forces were measured on each asperity pattern by using AFM (atomic force microscope) in humid air and high vacuum of $2{\times}10^{-5}$ Pa. The probe of AFM cantilever has a flat square of about $1\;{\mu}m^2$ on its tip. The results showed that the pull-off force was proportional to the curvature radius of asperity peak in each ambient condition. The friction force was proportional to the pull-off force and was slightly higher in the humid air than in the high vacuum.
