T-test분석을 통한 녹색건축인증 유무에 따른 공동주택의 매매가격 비교 분석 (A Comparison Analysis on the Sales Price of Apartments according to G-SEED by Using T-test)

  • Currently, as the public interest for environmental issues has grown rapidly, the needs for G-SEED have also increased. However, as investment according to eco-friendly elements is inevitable to receive G-SEED certification, it is necessary to find out whether or not the sales price of apartments have increased compared to investment costs. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the sales price of apartments according to G-SEED by using T-test. To achieve the objective, First, variables affecting on the sales price of apartments are selected. Second, the data are collected by using GIS(Geographic Information System). Third, after testing the normality, a comparison analysis is conducted on the sales price between G-SEED certified and non-certified apartments by using T-test. As a result, it is concluded that G-SEED certified apartments are more expensive than non-certified apartments. In the future, these findings can be utilized to develop of apartments price calculation model based on the G-SEED.

일부 재가노인의 치매에 대한 지식과 태도 (A Study on the kowledge and attitude about senile dementia of the elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the elderly and their family kowledge about senile dementia and to get them to have positive attitude about senile dementia. The subjects were 204 elderly who lived in the whole country. The data were collected from Sep. to Dec., 1998, using a 36 items questionnaire and analyzed by SAS program for t-test, ANOVA. Scheffe test, Pearson Correlation Coefficients. The results were as follows: 1. The mean score of knowledge about senile dementia was $9.33\pm2.68$(range 0-15), The elderly who was unschooled, lived in Kyung Sang province, didn't have any hobby or interest, didn't access to informations about senile dementia got lower score than the others. 2. The examples of knowledge test items about senile dementia that the subjects above fifty percents answered uncorrectly were 'the patient of senile dementia doesn't die soon', 'senile dementia is uncurable disease', 'the symptoms of senile dementia is apparent in new and strange circumstances', 'the pood and lonely elderly is apt to have senile dementia'. 3. The mean score of attitude about senile dementia was $15.87\pm2.25$(range 0-20) and attitude about senile dementia was relatively positve. Attitude about senile dementia by general characteristic was not significantly different. 4. The examples of attitude test items about senile dementia to which the majority of subjects agreed were 'It is a pity to see the patient suffered from senile dementia', 'It is difficult to take care of senile dementia patient' and so on. 5. The correlation between kowledge and attitude about senile dementia was very low. Therefore this study suggests that it is crucial to educate the elderly and their family to induce positive attitude about senile dementia.

여자청소년의 신체관련변인, 자존감, 내적통제력이 섭식장애행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Female Adolescent Body-Related Variables, Self-Esteem and Internal Control on Eating Disorder Behavior)

  • This study purports to understand the direct and indirect effects between eating disorder behavior of female adolescents and their body-related variables(concerning the degree of diet regime, weight control, body satisfaction, and obesity), self-esteem and internal control, by checking three sub-categorized behavior of eating disorders of diet behavior, bulimia behavior, and eating control behavior. The sample group used for the study consisted of 190 female high school students and 292 female university students; measurement devices used for the study were those of body-related variables, self esteem and internal control, and eating disorder behavior; and data analysis was performed using ${\chi}2$, t-test, Pearson's correlation, regression analysis and path analysis. The results are as follows. First, there is a significant difference between university students and high school students regarding their body satisfaction, weight control experience, and self esteem. University students are more satisfied with their body, have higher self esteem, and control their weight better than high school students. Second, diet behavior shows a correlation with the degree of diet interest, weight control experience, and body satisfaction. Body satisfaction and internal control proved to be correlated with bulimia behavior, while weight control experience, obesity, and self esteem were correlated with eating control behavior. Third, the variables that showed a direct influence on diet behavior as an eating disorder are diet interest, weight control experience, body satisfaction and obesity, in that the explanatory power of the variables is 60.7% with the highest mark on obesity. The variables that showed effects on bulimia are body satisfaction and internal control with an explanatory power of 2.8%. Indirect variables effecting bulimia include objects, diet interest, body satisfaction, and self esteem. The variable with a direct influence on eating control behavior was self esteem with and explanatory power of 4%, whereas the variables of objects, diet interest, body satisfaction, weight control experience, and internal control were all indirectly correlated with eating control behavior.

초등학생의 비만 관련 요인에 대한 진단적 연구 - PRECEDE 모형을 근간으로 - (Diagnostic Variables Related to Elementary School Students' Weight Control - Based on the PRECEDE model -)

  • With the aim of diagnostic research on health education. the health promoting behaviors related to elementary school students' weight control. life satisfaction. health state. self-efficacy. parent's interest and knowledge about weight control and school health education of weight control were investigated on the basis of the PRECEDE model. The data for this study were collected from a sample at an elementary school in Chongju for 5 days in July. 2004. In analyzing the data. t-test. one-way ANOVA. chi-square test and multiple regression analysis were done by using SPSS 10.1 The results were as follows : 1. The elementary school students' level of life satisfaction was above half of the full point. The score difference of life satisfaction was statistically significant by grade and academic achievement(F=4.646. p=.010. F=16.042. p=.000). 2. The perceived level of health state was moderate for all students. Normal weight students' level was significantly higher than obese students' (t=3.667. p=.000). 3. The perceived level of health promoting behaviors related to weight control was above the moderate. The perceived level of health promoting behaviors related to weight control in the obese students was significantly higher than that in normal weight students(t=-2.225. p=.027). The students used computer for 1.48 hours and watched TV for 2.52 hours a day. 4. The score of health promoting behavior self-efficacy in this subject was 70.61. 5. The parents' level of interest in the obese students' weight control was significantly higher than that in the normal weight students(t=-4.86. p=.000). 6. Sixty-six percent of the students learned about weight control education in school. 7. The health promoting behavior self-efficacy among the educational diagnostic variables was the most influential variable in students' health promoting behaviors related to weight control. This research diagnosed the needs of weight control education in elementary school by assessing various factors related to weight control behaviors. The research findings suggest that we can enhance the prevention of childhood obesity by strengthening the related factors such as parents' knowledge and interest, health promoting behaviors and self-efficacy related to weight control in school health education.

공공도서관 북트레일러 서비스가 이용자 행동반응정도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Public Library Service Using Book-Trailer on User Behavioral Reaction)

  • 본 연구는 최신 기술을 활용한 도서관의 특화 서비스인 내용적 북트레일러 서비스가 이용자의 독서 관련 행동반응에 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 AIDMA&AISAS 모델을 사용하여 주목(Attention), 관심(Interest), 탐색(Search), 욕구(Desire), 기억(Memory), 행동(Action), 공유(Share)의 7가지 이용자 행동반응을 측정하였다. 인천광역시 소재 13개 공공도서관에서 북트레일러 서비스를 경험한 이용자에게 설문조사를 실시하여 총 287명의 응답을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 내용적 유형인 메시지 활용형, 갈등 활용형, 인물 활용형 모두 이용자 행동반응에 유의미한 차이가 있었으며, 특히, 인물 활용형이 가장 높은 영향을, 다음으로 갈등 활용형, 메시지 활용형이 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 사후 검정 결과 관심과 탐색, 이용자만족도에서는 갈등 활용형과 인물 활용형 간에 유의미한 차이가 발생하지 않았다. 본 연구는 외형적 유형의 북트레일러 서비스의 효과를 측정한 선행 연구들과 비교할 때, 내용적 유형의 북트레일러를 통해 이용자 행동반응을 측정하고 유의미한 효과를 확인하였다는 점에서 학문적 의의가 있으며, 더 나아가 효과적인 북트레일러 서비스에 위한 실질적인 함의를 제공하였다.

한국 성인의 재난관련 특성에 따른 재난대비, 자아탄력성과 재난스트레스 비교 연구 (A Comparative study on the Disaster Preparedness, Ego-resilience and Disaster Stress by Disaster-related Characteristics of Korean Adults)

  • Purpose: This study conducted to determine if people perceive differences in disaster preparedness, ego-resilience and disaster stress according to their perception of risk and disaster safety, safety of residence, disaster experience and disaster education experience. Methods: A total of 1,000 subjects voluntarily participated in a nationwide online survey. Data obtained were evaluated using the t-test and ANOVA. Results: The average scores were $2.66{\pm}0.73$, $2.64{\pm}0.81$, $2.89{\pm}0.85$, and $3.62{\pm}0.66$ out of 5 points for -the risk of disaster, disaster safety, safety of residence and interest in disaster, respectively. For 18.6% of the subjects who reported having experience with disaster, fine dust was the most common disaster experienced. Moreover, 50.1% of respondents reported earthquake was the most likely disaster. The disaster preparedness score was $4.91{\pm}3.75$ out of 16 points, ego resilience was $3.38{\pm}0.53$ out of 5 points, and disaster stress was $5.61{\pm}1.77$ out of 10 points. There were significant differences in disaster preparedness, ego-resilience and disaster stress depending on subjects' perception of safety or interest in disaster and their experiences or education regarding disaster. Conclusion: Our results suggest that it is necessary to increase awareness of disaster and to prepare a plan for persistent and systematic disaster education.

고무풍선 중 니트로스아민류의 효과적 위해성 소통 전략에 관한 연구 (Effective Risk Communication Strategies for N-Nitrosamines in Rubber Balloons)

  • Background: As the public interest in chemical substances found in daily life has increased, environmental health education content has been developed and related studies have been conducted. However, there is still insufficient research on methodologies for environmental health education. Objectives: This study aimed to explore risk communication strategies by focusing on N-nitrosamines in rubber balloons. Methods: In this study, two different health messages were composed: a gain-framed message emphasizing the advantages of practicing the health behavior and a loss-framed message emphasizing the negative consequences of not practicing the health behavior. The effect of the message containing risk information was evaluated by measuring the health beliefs and health behavior potential for female caregivers. As the Environmental Health Act defines a child as "a person under the age of 13," a total of 131 women with children under the age of 13 were studied. Results: The age, awareness, and interest of the participants in the gain frame group and these in the loss frame group were similar. In terms of message framing effect, the gain-framed message was more effective in terms of health belief and potential health behavior than was the loss-framed message. As a result of an independent t-test, among the six variables of health belief model the message effect was statistically significant at the level of p<0.05 in three variables: perceived severity (t=2.287, df=129, p=0.024), self-efficacy (t=2.123, df=129, p=0.036), and health behavior potential (t=2.094, df=129, p=0.038). Conclusions: This study presented a direction for effective environmental health education by studying the effects of risk communication messages based on scientific evidence. It is necessary to extend the scope of environmental health education research by expanding research into various household products.

행복 인식에 따른 호스피스 준비의 관심에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interest in Hospice According to the Perception of Happiness)

  • 본 연구는 일반인들 가운데에서 죽음을 어떻게 인식하고 있느냐에 따라 삶의 태도나 방식이 달라지기 때문에 행복에 따른 죽음인식에 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 행복지수가 높은 그룹과 행복지수가 낮은 그룹간의 호스피스 관심이 차이가 있는지 연구하고자 한다. 2017년 4월 22일 D 광역시에서 열린 걷기대회 행사에 참가한 20세 이상 성인 남녀 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문구성은 일반적 특성이 성별, 연령, 학력, 직업, 결혼상태, 가족 동거여부, 종교, 건강상태 8항목이었다. 행복에 관한문항은 총 29항목, 죽음 인식은 9항목으로 구성하였다. 통계 검정법으로는 설문지의 항목에 대하여 행복지수를 기준으로 카이제곱 검정, 독립표본 t-검정, 상관분석, 정준상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 임종하기 적합한 장소에 관한 문항에서 행복지수가 낮은 그룹은 "의료기관"이 46.3%로 가장 높았으며, 행복지수가 높은 그룹에서는 "살던 집"이 59.4%로 가장 높게 나타나 유의한 차이를 보였다. 병원에서 임종하는 경우가 훨씬 많은 우리나라의 현실에서 환자들이 원하는 편안하고 익숙한 장소인 집에서 임종을 맞이할 수 있는 방법인 가정형 호스피스의 이용률을 높일 수 있도록 전문 인력의 확보 및 교육 등 관리체계를 보완해야 할 것이라고 보여 진다. 그리고 대상자의 일반적 특성을 고려한 개별적이고 다양한 접근을 통하여 죽음인식을 높이고 호스피스를 효과적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

Inhibition of human breast carcinoma by BLC (Sargassum fulvellum) and BLC/HEN Egg in vitro and in vivo

  • Much of the interest on the chemopreventive properties of herbs and plants has been raised, whereas little is regarding to anti-tumor effect of farming and aquatic products. In the present study, the anti-tumor effect of hot-water extract of a seaweed, BLC (Sargassum fulvellum) and BLC/HEN egg was investigated using MCF-7 cells in vitro and in vivo systems. We found that the BLC extract and BLC/HEN egg inhibited cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner, which might be mediated through up-regulation of p53. Furthermore, this test compound can directly induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells, which might be mediated through up-regulation of a pro-apoptotic Bax protein and down-regulation of a anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 protein, not by immune system. Nude mice bearing established breast tumors (with exogenous estradiol) were treated with BLC extract and BLC/HEN egg. Treatment BLC extract and BLC/HEN egg caused a 42% and 71% inhibition of tumor growth, respectively. Both agents caused a significant inhibition of volume and weight growth of estrogen independent human breast tumors established from MCF-7 cells. Our results suggested that BLC extract and BLC/HEN egg have the efficacious effect of human breast cancer not only in vitro but also in vivo.

Consumers' Ad Responses towards Marketing Motives and Ad Appeals in Hotels' Green Advertising

  • This study aims to investigate the impacts of marketing motive (public- vs. firm-interest) and ad appeal (soft- vs. hard-sell) types on consumers' ad attitudes and behavioral intention in hotels' green advertising. From 711 US respondents, a multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was employed to test main effects of marketing motive and ad appeal types on ad recipients' affective and cognitive ad attitudes, while controlling their environmental consciousness. Further, the study conducted a multiple regressions analysis to examine the influence of ad attitudes on respondents' intention to visit the hotel. The study found that a public-serving claim can yield more positive affective ad attitude than a firm-interested claim, regardless of ad image type (soft- or hard-sell image). The result also revealed that a soft-sell ad image can elicit more positive affective ad attitude than a hard-sell one. On the other hand, the study showed that consumers' affective and cognitive ad attitudes are significant predictors of behavioral intention (i.e., visit intention). The study provided theoretical and managerial implications for hospitality researchers and hotel marketers to effectively design hotels' green advertising to ultimately increase consumers' visit intention.
