National Park Staffs' Views on Environment and Their Perspectives on Natural Environment Interpretation (지리산 국립공원 직원의 환경관과 자연환경 해설에 대한 인식 조사)

  • The aims of this study was to investigate environmental views of national park rangers and their perspectives on natural environment interpretation as managers and to provide a basic resource to make programs regarding natural environment interpretation improve. The specially designed questionnaire was administered to twenty-five national park rangers who had worked at the southern office of Jiri Mountain National Park. Analysis results are as follows. They had have concerns with environmental problems and about preservation of natural environment. Most of them thought that the purpose of natural environment interpretation was to make change regarding public perceptions and attitudes toward natural environment. Over sixty percents of them recognized that publics had rarely participated in the natural environment interpretation program prepared by a national park. It was turned out that public had not concerned with the program because of the lack of their interests and recognitions regarding the natural environment interpretation program due to the lack of active advertisement for it. It is expected that national park rangers need to advertise the necessity of the program and to manage the program effective with more active mind as well as to develop and practice more appropriate programs for natural environment interpretation.

  • Prevention is very important in terms of the fact that the percentage of people in their 10s and 20s experience noise-prone hearing is so serious that it can lead to serious hearing later on. This study examines the effect of the hearing loss prevention public advertisement message on the hearing loss prevention intent of the acceptor according to the type of framing(positive/negative) and self-efficacy information provision (provide information/do not provide information). The perceived risk and future time orientation as individual characteristics of individual participants were set as variables that could influence the message effect. In this paper, we propose a message expression method and effective message delivery method in the aspect of message strategy and effect of execution when promoting understanding and interest in hearing loss prevention.

  • People believe donations are done by others who have the leisure time and money to do so. In addition, people distrust charity organizations because they aren't sure if the money is used properly which makes them hesitant to donate. In order to gain general public's trust and involvement, people need to start campaigning about trusting and donating to organizations. Looking into many different successful charity case studies, we can find how these different cases are attracting people and building their trust. Therefore, I propose the proper and effective ways to campaign for charity organizations through analyzing different case studies. The result shows that a campaign is most effective when arising amusement and curiosity in the general public. Also trust gets built in the minds of the public once the charity organizations became more transparent.

  • Appearance and rapid growth of the social network services (SNS) have led to changes in the distribution structure of information. Consumers can obtain various information quickly via the social network services and companies make use of a new advertising channel in them. In order to increase the effect of publicity activities through the social network services, development and application of public relations strategy by evaluating and analyzing the results of the activities is required. In this paper, a method for developing a low cost system to evaluate and analyze the results of public relations through the social networks is proposed. The proposed method was verified through building and running a demo system to collect and analyze data in the Facebook fan pages using MySQL database and PHP script on a Linux server.

  • Publication Information Dissemination Guidance(P.I.D.G.), in which a public organization opens it's information to the public in advance of requests, could be an appropriate medium to support the good governance. In other words, good governance could be established by adopting P.I.D.G. to guarantee the accessibility and usability of information to a public organization, to arrange an opportunity for conversation with the people, and eventually promote the participation of people in administration. However, the P.I.D.G. is not well-known among people due to lack of nation-wide advertisement, and a number of multi-laterally found flaws in the system operation, suggesting an urgent need of improvement. Disorders are found in the operation of P.I.D.G. due to un-standardized categories among the standards of Publication Information Dissemination, set by administrative organizations. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the P.I.D.G. and suggest the ways to improve it based on the criteria indicated above.

  • This study offers the possibility of a new integrated product of video technology and public culture content. The Development of 'the Urinal of Emotional Type with Screen' will introduce a new sanitary pottery product and it will be a new attempt to combine hygiene pottery product with high-tech electronic product. It is a product development idea that presents the new marketability of the sanitary pottery product with the improvement of awareness of the restroom and the idea of wit through public information notification and advertisement effect. For the commercialization of the product, the prototype will be made through a separate production process with the design of this project, through 3D rendering, 3D mockup and so on. Various product expansions can be consulted with manufacturers after that. It is a new approach of image making with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, that targeting small-scale business, such as franchise coffee shops and liquor stores with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, and it will lead the market trend with various marketing availability through differentiated video contents.

  • There is a Growing Interest in Motion Recognition for Recognizing Human Motion in Camera Images. As a Result, Researches are Being Actively Conducted to Control Digital Devices with Gestures at a Long Distance. The Interface Using Gesture can be Effectively Used in the Digital Signage Industry Where the Advertisement Effect is Expected to be Exposed to the Public in Various Places. Since the Digital Signage Contents can be Easily Controlled through the Non-contact Hand Operation, it is Possible to Provide the Advertisement Information of Interest to a Large Number of People, Thereby Providing an Opportunity to Lead to Sales. Therefore, we Propose a Digital Signage Content Control System Based on Hand Movement at a Certain Distance, which can be Effectively Used for the Development of Interactive Advertizing Media.

A Study on the Influence of Consumers Functional Recognition on Their Switching Behaviors, using Food Providers' Web Sites (외식기업 온라인 웹사이트를 이용하는 소비자들의 기능별 지각 수준이 전환 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of food service web site users' functional recognition extent on switching behaviors. For this, a survey of web site users was carried out. As for analytic methods, frequency analysis was used to examine respondents' demographic features. In addition, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were carried out used to look into the influence of functional recognition of food providers' web sites on switching behaviors. Study findings are as follows: all the functional variables such as entertainment, advertisement & public relations, communication and purchase decision-making function have significant influence on users' switching behaviors. When users' recognition extent of food providers' online web sites is high, their switching behavior is also high. In particular, the following clause have the greatest influence upon users' switching behaviors pattern. In the function of entertainment, (1) it is easy to search on web site; in the advertisement function, (2) the image of restaurant can easily be recognize; In the communication function, (3) the image of new products can be seen with ease; and in the purchase decision-making function, (4) web sites are easily accessible.

  • In commercial facilities, it is very difficult in real to promote specific products among various products because various products are displayed and sold. Therefore, in order to promote information on most display products, there is a great tendency to rely on printed matter or salesperson. So, it is focused to display advertising or promotional video based on interactive user information by utilizing the diplay used in the store, and to implement technology considering energy saving. Also it is very utilized for a specific product sold or displayed at a commercial facility to be sent to manufacturer or advertiser who wants to promote specific products and content at customer contacts. In this study, we implemented that maximized advertisement effect through the advertisement video and combination of product using transparent display. we implemented User-oriented image display technology to provide an interactive service according to whether there is a user or not. Through this study, we proposed a new direction to maximize advertising/public relations effect in various commercial facilities.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically analyze the motivation of university lifelong education and the factors that are important in selecting it. In the motivation for participation of adult learners, learning new knowledge and skills in the first place and learning new things in the second place were good, so that they could learn together in the third place. Active school investment in faculty and staff will be needed to increase program diversity and quality through professionalism. Adult learners are getting information from the system they are interacting with, and furthermore, they learn the information from the public relations of university professors. Since they are acquiring paths and information through acquaintances, it is necessary to continuously promote the curriculum to unspecified adult learners. Advertisement should take advantage of various convergence strategies such as hanging banners in the area, publicity of the subway, local newspapers, word of mouth, SNS, and the Internet.
