This paper proposed PTP(Precision Time Protocol) management node-based time synchronization error detection and recovery system. The proposed system is to maintain the preciseness of time synchronization under time synchronization error situations on IEEE 1588-based network environment. To demonstrate the proposed time synchronization error detection and recovery system, PTP implemented EVM(Evaluation Module)-based experiments were performed. As a results of the experiments, it is shown that the proposed system effectively maintains the preciseness of time synchronization under time synchronization error situations.
Nitrite is an essential additive for the manufacture of cured meat products. This study was conducted to investigate the curing effect of the plasma treated juice of red Perilla in meat batter. The nitrite content in the juice of red Perilla was increased by the indirect treatment of atmospheric pressure plasma, and the lyophilized powder of red Perilla juice contained 9,133 ppm of nitrite. A meat batter without a nitrite source was prepared as a negative control (NC), and the meat batters cured with sodium nitrite (PC), celery powder (CP), and the lyophilized powder of red Perilla juice treated with atmospheric pressure plasma (PTP) at 70 ppm level of nitrite were prepared. The PTP showed the highest pH and the lowest cooking loss among the treatments. There were no significant differences in the nitrosyl-hemochrome content in the cooked meat batters of the PC, CP and PTC. However, the PTP had a lower CIE $a^*$-value compared to the PC and CP. The malondialdehyde content in the cooked meat batters was significantly lower in the CP and PTP than in the NC while there was no significant difference between the NC and PC. Based on the results of this study, the plasma treated juice of red Perilla can be used as a new natural nitrite source for cured meat products.
Femtocells are cellular access points that connect to a mobile operator's network using residential DSL or cable broadband connections. They have been developed to work with a range of different cellular standards including CDMA, GSM and UMTS. Like legacy base station, the frequency accuracy and phase alignment is necessary for ensuring the quality of service (QoS) for applications such as voice, real-time video, wireless hand-off, and data over a converged access medium at the femtocell. But, the GPS has some problem to be used at the femtocell, because it is difficult to set-up, depends on the satellite condition, and very expensive. So, some techniques are discussed to alternate with the legacy GPS system. NTP, PTP, Synchronous Ethernet use the ethernet to synchronize distributed clocks in packet networks. AGPS support reliable position information than the legacy GPS in poor signal conditions. But, These method also have some problems. So, hybrid timing method like A-GPS+PTP and TV+GPS was developed to make up the weak point of GPS. This paper introduces the each method and compare each other and y propose much better solution for timing synchronization at the Femtocell
The general way to use a triangulation method is based on PTMP communication between an object and wireless modules in an environment, which is established by more than three wireless modules, to recognize the location of an object. Thus, this method has a problem that the PTMP-based system can only be applied in an environment where the wireless infra is already established. In order to solve this problem, the PTP communication schemes have been proposed but they are insufficient to generalize because they lack specific verification. In this paper, problems of an existed location estimation algorithm based on PTP communication are analyzed, and we propose a location estimation algorithm of a fixed object that satisfyies the condition of a single receiver being substituted to multiple receivers. A location estimation system we designed and implemented using CSS wireless communication modules to evaluate the proposed algorithm. We verify, by experimental results, that the optimum moving interval for the location estimation is 3m in indoor environment of $10m{\times}16m{\times}1m$.
The Drosophila genome contains four low molecular weight-protein tyrosine phosphatase (LMW-PTP) members: Primo-1, Primo-2, CG14297, and CG31469. The lack of intensive biochemical analysis has limited our understanding of these proteins. Primo-1 and CG31469 were previously classified as pseudophosphatases, but CG31469 was also suggested to be a putative protein arginine phosphatase. Herein, we present the crystal structures of CG31469 and Primo-1, which are the first Drosophila LMW-PTP structures. Structural analysis showed that the two proteins adopt the typical LMW-PTP fold and have a canonically arranged P-loop. Intriguingly, while Primo-1 is presumed to be a canonical LMW-PTP, CG31469 is unique as it contains a threonine residue at the fifth position of the P-loop motif instead of highly conserved isoleucine and a characteristically narrow active site pocket, which should facilitate the accommodation of phosphoarginine. Subsequent biochemical analysis revealed that Primo-1 and CG31469 are enzymatically active on phosphotyrosine and phosphoarginine, respectively, refuting their classification as pseudophosphatases. Collectively, we provide structural and biochemical data on two Drosophila proteins: Primo-1, the canonical LMW-PTP protein, and CG31469, the first investigated eukaryotic protein arginine phosphatase. We named CG31469 as DARP, which stands for Drosophila ARginine Phosphatase.
Domestic and international researches, about intelligent systems based on a variety of location recognitions using location information, have actively proceeded. The representative location recognition method based on PTMP(Point To Multi Point) communication uses TOA(Time Of Arrival) to calculate distances to a fixed node that you want to recognize a position. The method is used to obtain the fixed node location information from three nodes location information that is applied by the triangulation method. There are disadvantages, an infrastructure should be established at a specific space and the system established cost is needed, in the location recognition method based on the PTMP communication, In this paper, the ranging based PTP(Point To Point) location recognition method is proposed to revise the disadvantage of PTMP location recognition method. And then it is compared with PTMP communication location recognition to evaluate performance. In this way, PTMP and PTP communication location recognition systems based on ranging were constructed and tested in an indoor environment. Experiment results show that the proposed PTP location recognition method could be confirmed to improve accuracy more than 3 times when it was compared with the existed PTMP location recognition method.
General location aware systems are only applied to indoor and outdoor environments using more than three transmitters to estimate a fixed object location. Those kinds of systems have environmental restrictions that require an already established infrastructure. To solve this problem, an Object Location Estimation (OLE) algorithm based on PTP (Point To Point) communication has been proposed. However, the problem with this method is that deduction of performance parameters is not enough and location estimation is very difficult because of unknown restriction conditions. From experimental tests in this research, we determined that the performance parameters for restriction conditions are a maximum transmission distance of CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations. In this paper, a system applied OLE algorithm based on PTP communication is implemented using a CSS (Chirp Spread Spectrum) communication module. A maximum transmission distance for CSS communication and an optimum moving distance interval between personal locations are then deducted and studied to estimate a fixed object location for generalization.
In this paper, we describe the PTP notion of robot manipulators by neural networks. The PTP motion requires the inverse kinematic redline and the joint trajectory generation algorithm. We use the multi-layered Perceptron neural networks and the Error Back Propagation(EBP) learning rule for inverse kinematic problems. Varying the number of hidden layers and the neurons of each hidden layer, we investigate the performance of the neural networks. Increasing the number of learning sweeps, we also discuss the performance of the neural networks. We propose a method for solving the inverse kinematic problems by adding the error compensation neural networks(ECNN). And, we implement the neural networks proposed by Grossberg et al. for automatic trajectory generation and discuss the problems in detail. Applying the neural networks to the current trajectory generation problems, we can refute the computation time for trajectory generation.
SA51, a medium potency inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B), was identified to be a potent inhibitor of $I{\kappa}B$ kinase ${\beta}$ ($IKK{\beta}$). Consistent with this, SA51 prevented lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced breakdown of $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ in macrophages. The effects of SA51 in mice were compared with those of structurally related compounds, SA18 and SA32, which were previously reported as inhibitors of both enzymes - less potent against $IKK{\beta}$ but more potent against PTP1B compared to SA51. SA51 improved glucose tolerance and lipid parameters in mice, consistent with the results reported for $IKK{\beta}^{+/-}$ mice. In contrast, SA18 and SA32 showed anti-obesity effects without anti-diabetic effects. Collectively, the effects of SA51 could be due largely to the inhibition of $IKK{\beta}$, whereas SA18 and SA32 may be more likely to inhibit PTP1B, consistent with their relative in vitro inhibitory effects.

In this paper, the computational problems of packet transmission probability (PTP) in a computer communication network (CCN) under flooding routing are investigated. To avoid a congestion under this routing, two control methods are considerd, i. e., copy storage control and hop count control. Problems of PTP under flooding routings with these two control methods are respectively shown to be equivalent to those of source-to-terminal reliability(STR) with an exception for a case of hop count control where the hop count is less than the length of the longest path. For this exceptional case, an efficient computational algorithm for PTP is developed. This algorithm is proposed as an efficient tool for the determination of hop count which satisfies a given reliability constraint. A numerical example illustrates a proposed algorithm.
