  • This study is intended to explore the tendency of interior design which have sustained the periodic changes throughout the history. After analysis of changes in interior design from 1920's early modernism to nowadays, the conclusion is as follows. In view of the human psychology, the main trend of consistent periodic changes is the revolutionary change of tension and relaxation, and the pursuit of such a change in design is rooted in the human basic need to get the vital energy through stimuli by giving and taking the variety in the public society.

  • The roles-grafting research is an approach to educational studies intended to graft five roles of supervisors, graduate students, teachers, principals and administrators. The approach is divided into four chained and cyclical aspects: drafting research blueprint, revising research blueprint, executing research blueprint and assessing performances. The approach maintains five basic principles: principles of inheritance, innovation, practicality, scientific basis and grafting. It is a paradigm of innovative research that has been developed in China that is worth a thorough investigation and extensive analysis.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a model for preschool children's self regulation by examining the effects of maternal parenting variables on preschool children's self regulation. The subjects were 1219 mothers of 4- to 6-year-old preschool children attending kindergarten or child care centers located in Seoul and Kyunggi Province, Korea. For data analysis, exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) were applied to the survey data in the first phase and structural equation modeling(SEM) analysis in the second phase. The major results of this study were as follows: maternal parenting stress and maternal behavior were the most direct influential variables on preschool children's self-regulation. Moreover, maternal parenting efficacy was indirectly mediated through maternal behavior.

  • The perceiving a calling scale is composed of three constructs: transcendent sermon, meaningful and prosocial aspects. Based on the multiple group confirmatory factor analysis from the structural equation model, we confirmed the measurement invariance between Christians and non-Christians at the scale level. Furthermore, to investigate the mean difference between Christians and non-Christians, we performed latent mean analysis. The results showed that the three-factor structure is equivalent across Christians and non-Christians, and further confirmed metric invariance and scalar invariance. Thus, the perceived calling scale is applicable to both Christians and non-Christians without biases. We also examined mean differences between the two groups. Christians demonstrated significantly higher scores on the three factors but no difference on the living a calling. This study provided meaningful information in understanding calling, and we discussed limitations and future directions.

  • The purpose of this study is to make and analyse established studies of clothing pay-chology and marketing, showing the disciplin-ary trends problems and the outlook of social psychological Aspects of clothing. To achieve the purpose 621 articles have been used. -519 for master's and doctor's de-gree and 102 reported in journals -no social psychological Aspects of clothing for the past two decades(1974-1994) in Korea. All of these annual data were classified into making five years a unit. In the statistical analy-sis 'frequency' and 'percentage' were applied. To verify the degree of significance x2-test were used. 1. The trend of the study on the fields of clothing psychology consumer behavior and marketing over the period between 1974 and 1994 showed the continual trend of increase since the 1974 that the article on the field of clothing the continual trend of increase since the 1974 that the article on the field of cloth-ing psychology was first reported. 2. The domain that has the greatest pro-portion in the field of clothing psychology is concerned with the individual psychological factor and the study concerning interpersonal perception and development the measurement tool showed the tendency to continue to in-creas.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the neuroanatomical areas related with onomatopoeia (sound-imitated word). Using the block-designed fMRI, whole-brain images (N=11) were acquired during lexical decisions. We examined how the lexical information initiates brain activation during visual word recognition. The onomatopoeic word recognition activated the bilateral occipital lobes and superior mid-temporal gyrus.

  • These days, Rehabilitation psychology analysis system is being used by world wide web in everyday's life. And on the other hand, we are facing spam messages' problems. To block these spam message, we are using filtering or pricing systems. But these solutions are raising other problems such as impediment in reception or availability caused by false positive or payment resistance. To solve these problems, we propose an Indirect Model on Message Control System(IMMCS) which controls an unsolicited message and prevents an useful message from discarding. We design and implement the IMMCS to enhance the usefulness and the availability. Being tested the IMMCS to verify the usability and the efficiency, it gave us a very successful result.

  • Background: The Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - Breast (FACT-B) scale is widely used to measure health-related quality of life in cancer patients. The aim of the present study is to validate the FACT-B in a sample of Iranian women with breast cancer. Materials and Methods: The sample consisted of 300 women selected through non-random convenient sampling procedure from oncology hospitals and clinics in Kermanshah and Shiraz cities. They were asked to fill in the Persian versions of the FACT-B scale, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life EORTC QLQ30. Confirmatory factorial analysis of the methods, concurrent validity and discriminant, and Cronbach's alpha for internal consistency were applied. Results: Internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha was 0.63 to 0.93 for the subscales and 0.92 for the total scale. Significant correlations between FACT-B and other measures indicate that this scale had concurrent and discriminant validity. The values of fit indices were satisfactory. Conclusions: The Persian version of the FACT-B scale is valid and reliable and, therefore, the scale can be used in research and clinical settings to assess health-related quality of life in Iranian patients with breast cancer.
