Methods: A survey was conducted with dental hygienists working at university hospitals, general hospitals, and dental hospitals and clinics in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan areas.Of the 230 questionnaires distributed, 206 were used in the analysis after excluding 24 completed questionnaires that had errors or missing answers. Results: As a result of identifying the relationships between verbal violence damage, positive psychological capital, and stress, verbal violence damage was negatively correlated with positive psychological capital (r=-0.28, p<0.001) and positively correlated with stress (r=0.40, p<0.001). Positive psychological capital had a negative correlation with stress (r=-0.25, p<0.001). As a result of verifying the mediating effects of positive psychological capital on the relationship between verbal violence damage and stress among dental hygienists, it was found that verbal violence had a significant effect on stress and positive psychological capital in the first and second stages. In the third stage, the effect of positive psychological capital on stress was significant, showing that there was a mediating effect. Conclusions: Therefore, sound work environments should aim to reduce verbal violence while increasing support systems to reduce negative emotional and psychological states.

  • There has been an increase in head trauma due to rapid industralization and improvement in transportation. This poses difficulties in differentiating between neuropsychiatric disabilities resulting from real organic changes and those arising from compensation issues. It is the purpose of this study to seek out the differences between normal and abnormal finding group in the structural brain imaging studies via the results of the functional brain imaging studies and psychological tests. Out of 132 subjects, 62 comprised normal and 70 the abnormal finding group. EEG and SPECT were chosen for inspection of functional brain imaging. MMPI and K-WAIS were chosen for psychological test. The subjects were further divided into right hemispheric damage, left hemispheric damage, both hemispheric damage, diffuse damage group and negative group in order to find out whether any differences in the psychological lest results could be localized. The results are as follows : 1) The abnormal finding group, the EEG and SPECT were proven to be a good predictor of brain lesion. This implies that even in the functional brain studies, abnormalities are more easily detected if there are visible brain lesions. 2) The FSIQ of the abnormal finding group is lower than that of normal finding group. this difference is mainly due to low V1Q. The left hemispheric damage group lend to shaw low V1Q. This lowered in was the difference between left hemispheric damage group and negative group. Furthermore, there were no group differences in the PIQ. It is concluded that K-WAIS is effective as evaluator of VIQ mainly of those patients with left hemispheric damage and it is ineffective as a evaluator of PIQ. 3) In the MMPI profile, the both groups displayed high neurotic profiles. There was no difference in the psychotic profiles. The scores of the Depression and Hystery were high in abnormal finding group. This can be seen as one of the lypical findings of chronic head trauma patients. 4) The abnormal finding group tend to be diagnosed as organic mental disorder in the psychological tests more frequently.

  • In many cases, trauma is overcome in a short periodtime, but for some, trauma results in long-term mental health issues such as in the form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Natural disasters cause different types and extent of damage, meaning the degree of stress experienced also varies. In the case of damage to a house, the impact can be considerable. Therefore, this study examined the trauma experienced by households whose homes were damaged by natural disasters and to confirm the characteristics of psychological trauma. It was confirmed that traumas was greater when a house was damaged, compared with damage to other types of items. In addition, even in the case of trauma occurring, factors that affect the pattern of change to someone's mental state vary depending on the state's classification. And In addition, health services is significantly analyzed in all variables, and it was considered that the provision of basic services related to safety after a disaster is paramount. However, while psychological counseling has a positive effect on short-term traumas that manifests as anxiety and depression, it has an adverse effect on PTSD because of the depth and complexity of the suffering in PTSD, meaning the type of psychological support needs changing.

Therefore, this paper shall propose a GIS-based integrated management system for victims and managers to effectively share related information one another and to return to victims' social life as soon as possible. Also, we implement a simple prototype system based on the Web. The proposed system supports the spatial search and statistical analysis based on map as well as keyword search, because having the location information on disaster victims, damage occurrence places, welfare and medical institutions, and psychological supporting centers. In addition, this system has the advantage reducing the frequency of disaster damage by providing aids in making efficient policy systems for the managers.

  • Purpose: This study compares and analyzes the characteristics and progress of existing voice phishing and new voice phishing to present a basic policy plan to prepare countermeasures against new voice phishing based on psychological descriptions. Method: The criminal progress and characteristics of the two were compared and analyzed through damage cases on various portal sites centered on voice phishing crime scenarios. Result: As a result of analyzing the progress of the third stage of new voice phishing, the scenario of new voice phishing that can deceive victims was written more carefully and the scope of the crime was expanded. In the crime execution stage, the victim was socially isolated, reducing the victim's judgment ability, making it more difficult for investigative agencies to investigate, and in the final stage, the continuity and expansion of criminal damage such as extortion of money and valuables are shown. Conclusion: There were differences in the target and scope of the crime and the method of the crime strategy between the two, and the possibility of damage is much greater, so a more efficient response strategy should be prepared.
