Purpose: Hemophilia is one of the most common bleeding disorder, and circulating levels of factor VIII or IX are closely related to the severity and frequency of the bleeding. The severity of hemophilia is classified to be severe, moderate, and mild when the factor level is less than 1%, between 1% and 5%, and between 5% and 25%, respectively. Hemophilic pseudotumor is a rare complication occurring in 1 - 2% of patients with factor VIII or IX deficiency. If the treatment is delayed, it would cause disabling and life threatening results. Methods: We experienced hemophilic pseudotumor developed at the fracture site of the proximal phalanx of the hand in a hemophilic B patient. Hemophilic pseudotumor was successfully treated with perioperative factor replacement and surgical intervention included excision and autologous bone graft. Results: Hemophilic pseudotumor was healed with complete regression, and no specific complication was developed. Conclusion: When we accounter hematoma like lesion after surgery unpredictably, we must consider hemophilic pseudotumor and make a accurate diagnosis with preoperative hematologic screening and various imaging study. Subsequently, adequate perioperative supplement of concentrate and surgical intervention brings to the satisfactory result without recurrence.

Cytologic features of inflammatory pseudotumor of the lung have not been described frequently. We report fine needle aspiration cytologic(FNAC) finding of a case of inflammatory pseudotumor misdiagnosed as adenocarcinoma in a 63-year-old man. The FNAC displayed a mixture of histiocytes, myofibroblasts, pneumocytes, and plasma cells. Some histiocytes and myofibroblasts had large nuclei with irregular nuclear membrane and prominent nucleoli, which mislead the diagnosis on adenocarcinoma on FNAC. The heterogeneous cell population is the unique cytologic features of inflammatory pseudotumor, which are helpful to distinguish it from other circumscribed benign and malignant lesions. Familiarity with these features is essential to avoid misdiagnosis and possible overtreatment.

Pseudotumors are not uncommon complications after total hip arthroplasty (THA) and may occur due to differences in bearing surfaces of the head and the liner ranging from soft to hard articulation. The most common causes of pseudotumors are foreign-body reaction, hypersensitivity and wear debris. The spectrum of pseudotumor presentation following THA varies greatly-from completely asymptomatic to clear implant failure. We report a case of pseudo-tumor formation with acetabular cup aseptic loosening after revision ceramic-on-metal hip arthroplasty. The patient described herein underwent pseudotumor excision and re-revision complex arthroplasty using a trabecular metal shell and buttress with ceramic-on-polyethylene THA. Surgeons should be aware of the possibility of a pseudotumor when dealing with revisions to help prevent rapid progression of cup loosening and implant failure, and should intervene early to avoid complex arthroplasty procedures.

Fibro-osseous pseudotumor is an extremely rare benign lesion which is fast-growing and painful. It is often misdiagnosed as a malignancy, but it is a noninvasive entity and can be cured by simple resection. We report a case of fibro-osseous pseudotumor of the distal phalanx of great toe in 20-year-old female patient who present with painful mass.

The authors describe a rare case of inflammatory pseudotumor involving the clivus, where a soft tissue mass lesion, with extension into the prevertebral retropharyngeal space and the cavernous sinuses, was detected by CT and MRI. The mass resembled a malignant tumor or aggressive infectious lesion, and the final diagnosis of inflammatory pseudotumor was a diagnosis of exclusion, decided after histopathological examination.

Inflammatory pseudotumor is characterized by the presence of a mass that may mimic malignancy and is composed of spindle cells mixed with variable amounts of extracellular collagen, lymphocytes, and plasma cells It is benign tumor commonly involves lung and orbit and rarely that occurs in the head and neck The cause and pathogenesis of inflammatory pseudotumor still remain controversial. Some bacterial infection or chronic irritation may have prompted some speculation that an initially reactive process can change into an overt neoplastic disease. It tends to affect children and young adults than old ages. We present a case of inflammatory pseudotumor involving the tongue base, in a 73-year-old patient with repeated oral bleeding that aggravated over a few days. Clinical examination showed angiomatous polyp like findings in oropharynx that easy bleeding tendency. CT images showed well defined soft tissue mass with focal enhancement. After surgery, tumor was finally diagnosed inflammatory pseudotumor by histopathologic examinations showed plasma cells and inflammatory cells in variable fibrotic tissues.

Inflammatory pseudotumor is an uncommon lesion with unknown etiology characterized by sclerosing inflammation which clinically and radiographically mimics a neoplastic lesion. A 47-year-old man presented with sudden headache and dysarthria. Brain CT scan revealed a $2.6{\times}2.2\;cm$ sized, round, and hyperdense mass in the anterolateral wall of the left lateral ventricular trigone. On MR imaging studies, the mass showed low signal intensity in the wall of the trigone on T2-weighted image, central mixed (iso- and high-) signal intensity with peripheral low-signal intensity on T1-weighted image. Subtle staining of left choroid plexus with irregular shaped distal branch of anterior choroidal artery was found on the cerebral angiography. These findings suggested a small tumorous lesion originated from the left choroid plexus. During the hospital days, the mass manifested as repeated hemorrhages. The mass was successfully removed via left occipital transcortical approach. The histopathological report of the specimen was hemorrhage and fibrosis, with dense lymphoplasma cell infiltration, suggestive of an inflammatory pseudotumor.

A case of inflammatory pseudotumor of the entire lung In a 61-ycar-old man is prcscntcd. The respiratory symptoms developed 2 months ago and progressed rapidly and the diagnosis of chronic pneumonia with ateletectasis of the entire lung, destroyed lung by tuberculosis and sepsis hAd to be ruled out The operative finding was different from our expectation. This case suggests that the Inflammatory pseudotumor can manifest as a whole lung-involving ass. Inflammatory pseudotumor is a nonneoplastic reactive pulmonary mass lesion that resembles tumor but shows little or no growth. Thc inflammatory pseudotufor usually present as a solitary round lung mass but in this casts progressed rapidly and destroyed the whole lung, which is rare. The patient was discharged with no problem and with outpatient followup.

Intraorbital pseudotumors are inflammatory lesions of the orbit of unknown etiology, which initially mimic an orbital neoplasm. The authors report a case of intraorbital pseudotumor presenting with painful exophthalmos. A 45-year-old male patient had a two-week history of acute progressive exophthalmos and diplopia. Right orbit was explored through transcranial route and the mass was biopsied, which revealed dense inflammatory cells and fibrosis. He subsequently underwent corticosteroid therapy and symptoms improved gradually. The literatures were reviewed.

Calcifying fibrous pseudotumors are rare soft-tissue lesions pathologically characterized by hyalinized collagen, psam-momatous or dystrophic calcification, and lympho-plasmacyte infiltration. They are clinically benign with an extremely low rate of recurrence and complete surgical resection is known to be the treatment of choice. We performed the resection of a calcifying fibrous pseudotumors in the anterior mediastinum without complications.
