  • To evaluate clinical visualization of intracranial aneurysms between 3D-TOF MRA with 3.0T MR and CTA with 16-slices MDCT. In a prospective series, 12 patients with 16 aneurysms were studies with 3D-TOF MRA and CTA. MRA were performed on a GE Signa 3.0 T system (Signa VH/i, GE) with 25/3/20 (TR/TE/FA). CTA were peformed on a 16 slice MDCT (Sensation 16, Somatom, Siemens) with IV shooting of 80 ml iodinated contrast mediumat antecubital vein at a rate of 3.5 ml/sec. Four among 12 patients underwent DSA for surgery. Size, shape, neck and parent vessel of aneurysms were evaluated for comparison of visualization and detectability of aneurysms.

  • Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (HP) one of the most common interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) is characterized by exposure to an inhaled inciting antigen that leads to a host immunologic reaction determining interstitial inflammation and architectural distortion. The underlying pathogenetic mechanisms are unclear. The absence of international shared diagnostic guidelines and the lack of a "gold-standard" test for HP combined with the presence of several clinical and radiologic overlapping features makes it particularly challenging to differentiate HP from other ILDs, also in expert contests. Radiology is playing a more crucial role in this process; recently the headcheese sign was recognized as a more specific for chronic-HP than the extensive mosaic attenuation. Several classification proposals and diagnostic models have been advanced by different groups, with no prospective validation. Therapeutic options for HP have been limited to antigen avoidance and immunosuppressant drugs over the last decades. Several questions about this condition remain unanswered and there is a need for more studies.

  • Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) is associated with increased cardiovascular and cerebrovascular morbidity. Epidemiological and clinic-based studies have shown that SDB is related to impaired glucose tolerance and increased insulin resistance, independent of obesity. Despite of a consistent association between SDB and impaired glucose-insulin metabolism, the mechanism underlying this relationship has not been fully elucidated. It is recognized that hypoxemia and hypercapnia that occur in SDB provoke sympathetic nervous activity and catecholamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine, and cortisol are released. Sympathetic hyperactivity and increased catecholamines can impair glucose homeostasis by increasing glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis, which can result in increased circulating insulin levels and increased risk of insulin resistance. A prospective study is needed to investigate the causal relationship between SDB and impaired glucose-insulin metabolism in a healthy population without diabetes, hypertension and obesity as etiologic risk factors.

  • The case series is a descriptive study that follows a group of patients who have a similar diagnosis or who are undergoing the same procedure and is the most prevalent type of research in the field of plastic surgery. Results of case series can generate hypotheses that are useful in designing further studies, including randomized controlled trials or a prospective cohort study. However, no causal inferences should be made from case series regarding the efficacy of the investigated treatment. The authors provide a guide to the design and report on the case series.

  • Eight new three-way cross heterozygotic hybrid genotypes of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori, resulted from hybridization of multivoltine as female and bivoltine Fl hybrid as male component, have been evaluated for the cumulative effect of nine traits of commercial economic importance with the objective of selecting out the most prospective ones for their exploitation as an intermediate technology during unfavorable season. Five of them namely, G(P5${\times}$NBl8) (E.I. =57.23); S(NB18${\times}$P5) (E.I. : 55.48); S(P5${\times}$NBl8) (E.I. = 52.44); S(KBN${\times}$B7) (E.I. = 50.42) and S(NB7${\times}$KB) (E.I. : 50.16) have scored higher values of the Evaluation Index (E.I.) and could be selected in the same order for exploitation during unfavorable seasons in tropical climates.

  • Logistics security has been enhanced to control cargo containers effectively and safely in global logistics. In response to the change, This study describes the system now being developed that tracks container position, watches cargo security status and gets informations of surrounding until the cargos arrived at its destination. We examine completion and satisfaction of the product for prospective users. For this, considering earlier studies about customer trust, satisfaction, service quality and purchase decision, we analyse an effect among the variables empirically. As a result, when the program is released, we examine customers' satisfaction and purchase decision for the informations to be offered from the program.

  • Side-channel attacks are a quiet mighty type of attack that targets specific physical implementations vulnerabilities. Even though several researchers have examined diverse means and methods of detecting side-channel attacks, at the present time a systematic review of these approaches does not exist. The purposes of this paper are to give an extensive analysis of literature on side-channel attack detection and offer intuitiveness from past research studies. In this study, a literature survey is conducted on articles related to side-channel attack detection between 2020 and 2022 from ACM and IEEE digital libraries. From the 10 publications included in the study, it appears they target either a single type of side-channel attacks or multiple types of side-channel attacks. Therefore, a vital review of each of the two categories is provided, as well as possible prospective research in this field of study.

  • It is difficult to transform a blockchain initiative from the feasibility stage to the fully commercialized the technology's products or services, especially considering the significant investment required and the lack of studies on the benefits and barriers from deployment perspective. Whereas some organizations have come up with their own solutions to moving beyond the feasibility stage, commercial applications do not yet exist and few organizations are willing to invest beyond the prototype phase and fill in the gap between the expected and actual business value of these types of projects. This study aims to develop a blockchain model using a survey to gather qualitative data on experts' opinions on the deployment of blockchain technology. Our model will measure how business professionals could take advantage of blockchain's disruptive technology to develop business opportunities. This study's contribution is to show blockchain technology's potential strategic business value. The findings from this exploration include the prospective for delivering comprehensions to businesses for different creating investment choices on the embracing of the blockchain technology.

  • Purpose: This study examined the quality of life (QoL) and quality of care (QoC) in inpatient hospice settings in Korea before and during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Methods: Data were obtained from three institutions that participated in two prospective cohort studies. The primary outcomes measured were the QoL of patients with terminal cancer and their family caregivers (FCs), as well as the QoC as perceived by the FCs. Results: Multivariable regression analysis revealed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, both patients and FCs experienced better QoL than before the pandemic, and FCs reported a higher QoC. Conclusion: Health policymakers should consider our findings when planning for future pandemics.

  • The application of ultrasound (US) in pain medicine has been a rapidly growing field since the 2000s. Musculoskeletal injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and neuraxial injections under US guidance have been acknowledged for managing chronic pain. Although many studies on US-guided pain procedures have been published, there needs to be a classification system to evaluate which image device, the US or fluoroscopy, is clinically and technically better in various pain interventions. Therefore, this narrative review introduces the classification system for the US-guided pain procedures according to their clinical and technical outcomes and designates US-guided pain procedures into one of the four categories by reviewing previous prospective randomized comparative trials.
